Neostrata Resurface Lotion Plus 200 ml

Whenever it's a warm night, let alone hot, I wake up with sweat pimples. It's quite annoying but I've learned to live with it, another sign I don't cope well with heat. However, when I have these breakouts and use the lotion plus, it really stings. When I'm not having a breakout, it's fine, works OK, but as soon as I have even 1 tiny little pimple, it stings like it's burning. If you never get pimples or sensitive skin, this stuff is probably just fine, but it's not for me.

This was my third time using a product containing AHA (after the foaming wash and Renewal Smoothing Cream) and so I decided to do a patch test on my forearm before trying on my face. After washing it off I noticed slight reddening on my arm with small red bumps. Please do a patch test before trying this product and ease your way into the use of AHA. It might be great for some skin types, however unfortunately not for me - too strong for my skin. Please also use sunscreen after using this product! Does come in neat and clean packaging with a slight scent. I am hesitant to recommend this product because of my slight reaction. I do advise caution and patch testing before applying!

The names on the influenster reviews seem a little different to the name on the products I received- so it's a little confusing. I didn't have any issues with this product- I'm just not really sure what to use it for. I was mainly using it on my neck and back of my hands since this claims to be more of a body lotion than for your face. But personally I don't really know what to use it for as I don't really feel the need to treat any other parts of my body with Glycolic acid. I didn't really notice any difference using this product to be honest as I don't really have any texture issues on my body. At $56 at Chemist warehouse- this is a little too pricy for a body lotion for my preference. Also as with my other reviews of this range- please remember to use sun protection after use as glycolic acid increases your sun sensitivity!

A little goes a VERY long way with this product. If you think you can just squeeze a quarter sized amount into your hands and not feel like a butter ball for the next 30 minutes, you're dead wrong. The smell is not pleasant either. Feels like they went for use over fragrance, which is fantastic, but it would help if it didn't sit under my nose. The burning sensation I received from the other Neostrata products is present in this one as well. Go figure, an acid product burning. Not nearly as burning as the cleanser, but harsher than the serum. I still feel the need to use a regular moisturizer at the end of my routine because this lotion feels very sticky and heavy and I just don't feel like it's going to provide the moisture my super dry winter skin needs. Amazing difference to my skin

This product absolutely works for me. I have tried so many different products in the past with not much difference to my skin. I put this on my face at night and my skin is smoother, more even and clear. I use other products during the day, but this has been the game changer for my skin and I would not be without it now. I use it for the glycolic acid and this one has 15 % before that I used the 10% one in this same range for 2years with great results. Bumpy bits banished

I bought this product a few months ago after my dermatologist recommended it. Wow! What a difference it made in one week. The bumpy bits I had accepted as a part of ageing are gone. I now use this 1-2 times a week only now for maintenance and I’m very happy with my new smoother skin. Apply a VERY light film of this lotion otherwise it can feel sticky.

It works !

Id give it a 5 star but I just started using the product for at least 4 days now and yes I noticed a bit improvement on my skin (I use it only on my upper body where I had a breakout and scaring). Ill continue to use it and see how it goes, by far its good. The tingling or slight burning sensation when product is applied on skin is tolerable and goes away quickly. Best is to read and follow instructions.

Long time user

NeoStrata Resurface Lotion Plus was recommended by my cosmetic surgeon over 20 years ago. I have been using the product consistently since that time. I apply the lotion on my arms, legs and shoulders prior to using a moisturizer. I am in the sun a good bit but my skin has remained soft and supple looking. I think this in large part due to my use of this product.

They recommended the Resurface Lotion Plus as the replacement for the Face Cream plus. The first thing I noticed was the size of the tube, the new Resurface Lotion is about 4 times larger the the previous Face cream plus and it says it is for face and body where the previous was small and specifically a face cream (as it would be used in a few days if you used it on the body) and the Resurface lotion doesn't seem to me even close to the comparable product, it is more like a body lotion and it did even sting on the face. WORKS ON OUR BODY

I've been using Neostrata Lotion Plus for many years. I was originally introduced to this product by my dermatologist. He recommended it to tone my body and fade/eliminate brown spots, known as aging spots. I'm 70 today and I have very few dark/aging spots on my arms and legs. Perhaps as we age, we must accept our bodies as they are, however, I feel exercise and yoga will help tone somewhat. I highly recommend using this product because it really fades those dark/aging spots. You won't know until you try it.
