Neostrata Restore PHA Facial Cleanser 200 ml

I used the product for at least two weeks and liked that it was unscented. It is not a lathering wash but does leave your face clean. I had to not use my facial brush to apply to a wet face since it’s not foaming. I liked everything but that it wasn’t foaming. It did not irritate my skin. I did get a small pimple towards the end of my 2 weeks but wasn’t sure if PHA caused it to surface or not using my facial brush. I returned to my normal routine but definitely will use when I travel or just want a quick after workout wash.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I used it as my 2nd cleanse, as I usually have waterproof makeup on, so I have a micellar water for taking off my makeup. I liked that this wasn’t too foamy/frothy, but still suds up a bit. A little goes a long way, and this container is HUGE! I did like that it didn’t strip my face of moisture, while still gently exfoliating my skin (I have combo skin, so I do struggle with some acne and then other areas with dry spots). I only tried it once to try and also take off makeup (it was ok), but I do think it’s great for when I need a 2nd cleanse, and helps my skin retain some of the moisture it needs. Overall it’s good!

This cleanser is a little different. The texture is like jelly on your face. It felt weird to use at first but after a few tries I started to like the way it made my skin feel. Super soft after washing with this gel. I have Rosacea, so it is scary to try a new face wash. I started with twice a week, and when I had no bad reaction I started using every other day. I can say I have less acne after about 8 weeks of use. I haven’t had any dry patches that I normally get in December from the dry, cold air. I appreciate there is no fragrance, but the scent is a little like glue- but that won’t stop me from continuing to use this product. I like it!

I've been having skin issues lately, and had just started some new products, so I don't know where the credit lies, but I haven't had a serious breakout of hormonal acne since using this (and other products.) The texture is weird bc it is a gel, not like most cleansers I've used. It doesn't suds up at all and feels more like applying moisturizer than a cleanser. But it seems to work well and clean well. I think I personally prefer sudsing cleansers, but I'll definitely happily use all of this. It's never left my skin feeling tight or dried out either. Overall, I'm very happy with this cleanser.

Incentivized. I received this product for free from Influenster and Neostrata in return for my honest review. I was surprised how quickly this product worked and I felt like I saw some results after 1 use and continued to see results. My skin tone was more even, hyperpigmentation/age spots/freckles were less noticeable. The texture of my skin was much softer and smoother but it did not irritate the small patches of eczema on my face or make them turn red. I felt like the product made my skin look less droopy and helped "plump" so my skin looked younger. I think PHA (Polyhydroxy acid) might be a new favorite ingredient.

I was so excited to receive a voxbox with this cleanser, as I’ve been trying to find a gentler alternative to my favorite exfoliating daily cleanser (Murad aha/bha) and this sounded perfect. Unfortunately it just doesn’t seem to do much for my skin. It feels nice on the skin, very smooth and jelly like, doesn’t foam up at all, but also doesn’t seem to want to rinse clean (it always feels like there’s a film left behind). It doesn’t strip my skin or make it feel tight and dry, but it also doesn’t seem to be doing much as far as exfoliation, I haven’t seen a reduction in blackheads or textural issues, which is the main reason I wanted to use this. Unfortunately it’s a pass for me.

Reason being is bc I have acne prone oily skin after a few days use a bump appeared then a few days later a couple more before the end of the 2 week trial which put me in a kawinkydink lol. They weren’t purge bumps nor anything like that from the cleanser it’s just that my skin Requires certain ingredients in order to stay acne free. Speaking of the ingredients in here are top notch Great Job NeoStrata! Of course I thought I could use it in conjunction w/ My usual regimen.. Nope! My skin kinda flaked, maybe a little too much exfoliating going on. Loved the jelly like texture which was different as it doesn’t sud up @ all bt my skin felt very clean super soft for a long time after use..

I was pleasantly surprised with the NeoStrata PHA Facial Cleanser. I must admit, I am very selective about the products I use in my skincare regimen. This soap-free, non-foaming gel cleanser really cleansed my face without stripping it. I implement the 60 Seconds Method which means I massage the product into my skin for at least 60 seconds before moving on to the next step in my skincare routine. My skin felt clean yet hydrated. It has definitely earned a place in my skincare routine!

I have been using the Neostrata restore range for a few days now and I can already see a huge improvement to my skin tone and texture. I am no longer experiencing as many breakouts. My skin is quite sensitive, especially to new products; however, I haven't had any problems tranferring to the restore range. The cleanser is super lightweight and moisturising - my ski feels really clean after using and the cleansing gel doesn't dry out my skin. Wonderful product.
