This product is different to most other masks because you apply at night and sleep in it. I used it once a week, applying to clean skin before bed. I let it dry and could tell the product was on my skin and working. You need to apply a really good moisturiser once the mask is dry - make sure you don’t skip this step as it would be too drying if you didn’t apply moisturiser. In the morning I rinsed my face and was left with bright, soft skin! Even after one use I could see a big improvement in my skin. I find them easier to use when my hands are covered in whatever product I’ve just used, and it eliminates the chance of losing the lid or it ending up on the floor if you’re clumsy and/or own a cat. Conclusion: After a few weeks of use, I found the amount of excess sebum on my face has reduced (also on my upper back/neck where I break out) which I attribute to the use of this and the other three products I used from the Neostrata Clarify range. My overall congestion and the amount of breakouts I experience have reduced since using these products. I think this range can be beneficial to anyone as gentle exfoliation is fantastic for keeping skin clear and youthful, so I definitely recommend for anyone interested in the benefits to try it.

I wasn't sure what to expect before I used this mask. I was initially wary of a leave-on AHA mask, worried it would be really strong and damaging to my skin. But I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle it was. This product has a thick, gel texture with no scent. It felt fine on my skin with none of that sort of crinkly, second skin texture some products tend to leave. After about 7 minutes, I applied my regular evening moisturiser. I woke up to soft, clear, and glowing skin. I had a few breakouts at the time of using the mask, and it didn't aggravate them or really reduce them much. I think with extended use of this range some of my acne scarring will reduce too. I think I will incorporate this as a weekly or fortnightly element in my routine.
I am so happy with this mask! I was worried it would irritate my sensitive skin, but it is super gentle and has helped me so much! I have been experiencing hormonal acne due to pregnancy, which has been leaving behind post-acne discoloration. Since using this product, my skin is more even and the discoloration is fading right before my eyes! I also have noted clearer skin and less clogged pores. I use this mask in my t-zone at night after cleansing and using my glycolic salicylic pads. I would highly recommend as this has been a must have during my pregnancy!

I use it at night, once or twice weekly before bed. I use the other 3 products in the range in the morning. It is incredibly thick, I apply it with my fingers and it is worn as a bed time mask. I appreciated that this range was fragrance free and also appreciate that the brand uses scientifically based active ingredients such as neoglucosamine. My skin is also so clear without any congestion or breakouts which my skin is usually prone to. It also leaves the skin so smooth and supple. If you want to prep your skin and want an instant refresh of your skin, I like to apply a very generous layer on my skin and leave on for about ten minutes. I then wash it off and I can instantly see the amazing result of my skin looking brighter and so fresh. It is like a mini facial with instant results of seeing your skin exfoliated and smooth. Love this mask so much , a winner in my opinion.
