I have mixed feelings about the Aeroccino3. It always froths for me, no problem. My problem is the learning curve of spilled milk all over the counter. I had to keep putting less milk under the max fill line each time to avoid messes each morning. Then I started staying right by it and watching. I noticed that when it was spinning that one side of the milk was higher inside the Aeroccino. It had me wondering if my counters were uneven. LOL! So then I began tilting the whole thing until it was even spin inside and voila! No spills every where. It was today that I FINALLY realized it's the coil placement inside the Aeroccino3. This product needs to be permanently discontinued. I've got through two of these and both times the exact same thing happens. One button will stop working, so I'll use another button and eventually it will stop working. Now let's be clear about something: I clean the Aeroccino4 after EVERY. SINGLE. USE. Mine are never left dirty. So for those who tell you that they stop working before they aren't clean, well that simply isn't true. This product is entirely too expensive to not last longer than a year. Nespresso either needs to discontinue the product line or drastically reduce the price.

Bought this at the end of November 2022 - it's now the end of January 2023 and this machine is the bane of my morning routine. About once a week it will magically froth as it should and my coffee is perfect. But 6 days out of the week, it will just produce warm milk.I've tried every suggestion - switched milks, cleaned with soap, cleaned with vinegar, turned the coil, removed coil and put it back on, even N64 cartridge blew on it in hopes of it working. I have wasted so much milk trying to get this to froth because it won't go again if it is warm!Please get another machine. This one is not it. It's a glorified milk warmer and makes your mornings a bit sadder.

Have 2 --one scorches from the beginning, and the other started scorching at about 8 months. There is a crescent shaped scorch mark that forms after each use, needs soaking and cleaning and then now does not come off at all. It is as if the non-stick coating has completely eroded away there and made a permanent burn. I do soak it in cold water and clean by hand each use but this is now at an unacceptable level. Plus, I don't want to be ingesting more of that that non-stick coating as it continues to wear away. I called Customer Service and had the bad one replaced under warranty. I recommend if you get one that scorches that you just call in immediately because it will just get worse. A hassle and time consuming. First, sent a new whip, which I had to pay for, I complained about shipping costs which they waived. Finally arrived. Unit still doesn’t work. Back online, trouble shooting, a lot of time, they will finally send me a new unit. Fingers crossed. Shamonia, very helpful and thorough in doing her work but it is very time consuming. The second time I went to use it, the lights just blinked. I would choose an option, the machine would whir for a few seconds and then shut off - no foam or froth! Most milk has enough protein content to produce a robust emulsion, but milk substitutes like almond milk have less proteins and will create a less dense foam. But even with regular milk, over time, the proteins will start to break down in storage and will not be able to produce a foam nearly as well as fresh milk, if at all. I have found most milk to be 'foamable' for 7 days (give or take) after purchase. In this case, it is worth looking for the freshest milk at the store based on the expiration date. This machine stopped making froth for me for regular soy milk within 3 weeks. Now it only warms the milk. After a long frustrating call with customer care, they just told me that aerroccino makes froth *only* with regular milk (Atleast 2%). If that is the case, why not specify that explicitly on the product’s webpage, esp when charging close to $120 for this product. Why have froth recipes for soy milk with aeroccino on the website if it doesn’t work for soy milk? Also, same machine made a lot of froth for me for the same milk for 3 weeks straight, now when the frother stopped working, customer care blames it not having a regular milk! After a few weeks of usage it quit working as it did and I called Nespresso and they did some trouble shooting and explained that it must be my milk that I was using.
