In my opinion, this version is much better than the virtuo next. It makes a great cup of coffee FAST. The system itself is very easy to use and I haven’t had any technical issues whatsoever. It’s also reasonably quiet and doesn’t take up much room on the counter. I love how many capsules the “used” container can hold, as it makes me much more likely to recycle the pods. Only 4 stars because I’m not the biggest fan of, is the design itself. It’s not as streamlined as I’d like, and really emphasizes fingerprints/debris. Overall this is an outstanding machine that I use on a daily basis and would recommend to anyone looking to elevate their at-home brewing experience.

I absolutely love the Nespresso coffee makers. It's just so easy to make a cafe quality coffee from home with this brand of coffee makers. They have so many different brews and blends but what I really like is it only takes a minute or so to make a rich coffee with this froth on the top or crema on the top I should say. You can use all different kinds of milk from plant-based to heavy cream and it will make a rich froth to put on top of your coffee or at the very least heat up your creamer so it doesn't cool down your coffee. The coffee itself comes in so many different varieties and sizes that there's something for everyone. If you love a rich flavorful coffee that's bold but yet not bitter than you would love having a Nespresso coffee maker. The sizes come in tiny expresso to full cup blends and they have great seasonal varieties like peppermint mocha or pumpkin spice as well as varietals from different countries. You should definitely try it out if you're a coffee lover.

I love this machine so much! It makes amazing tasting coffee so quickly at the perfect temperature. I use this machine almost everyday so I would have to say this is a very reliable and durable machine. To maintain this product you will simply need to do rinse cycles every so often and a descaling every couple months. Honestly this was a very expensive machine as well as the pods being around $1.20 CAD per pod which adds up. Overall beauty design, amazing frothy milk from the arachino, and tasteful coffee. Side note, if you do not like coffee foam this machine is not for you. So I highly recommend this machine.

Best Coffee and Best Machine

I have been using this Virtuoline style for 14 years. Finally had to replace with same style. Makes fabulous full cups, double shots, single shots, iced coffee, etc. so many flavors. My fave is Double Espresso Chiaro, for a double shot cappuccino; my husband loves Intenso for an Americano. So easy, very little care required. And if you like foam, the brother makes dense, rich foam

Big Steps Backwards

I had a Vertuo Plus for years, but it started leaking so we replace with this one. Although this machine does look nicer, it has been a step back in time and there are many things we like less with it. The first major issue is the water tank. Since there are horizontal lines in the plastic, there is no way to tell the water level visually. You need to shake the tank to see the difference in the water lever from the lines. The other major issue is the opening/closing design for the pods. It is no longer motorized like older models, so you need to muscle it closed and turn a lever at the same time. This is very difficult for normal people and seniors or people with weak hands can't do it at all. Do not buy this machine - poor customer service

I have had two Nespresso machines, both of which stopped working within 1 year of having them. For the round head I bought it after a next that broke and would not be replaced by nespresso. But since I loved the coffee product I decided to try a different machine. My round head intermittently decides to not turn on at all. No power, no cleaning or change of outlets changes this outcome. The best customer service will do is ask me to send the machine in to repair. After being such a loyal customer it’s disappointing that a new machine cannot be sent. I’ll be researching a new machine while my nespresso is being repaired. It’s too bad, the coffee is fantastic but the machine quality and customer service outweigh that.

Nespresso- the best option for in home espresso

This is a great multi-use machine. It can pull a single and double espresso, create an Americano, and with a milk-frother (not included) you can make a Cappucino or Latte. It's great for home use and professionally pulls an espresso shot with a very good and thick crema (a thick, flavorful, aromatic, brown colored natural froth). I have used manual espresso machines, but it can go very wrong with those. The problem is, and what they don't tell you most of the time, is that you will need to set the coffee grind in order to pull a properly timed shot to produce one with a crema. Also, this has to be done daily, and sometimes more often than that to make sure the shot doesn't taste bitter. The Nespresso machines do this as a "no brainer". So, this all is done for you so you can just enjoy your espresso each day. What a relief! :-) I used to run several espresso stores, so I do know what is needed to pull a good shot. So far I am very happy with my purchase and it is so great to enjoy such a consistent experience time and time again. There are also so many varieties and roasts for the espresso and this pushes Nespresso up to the 5*****star rating. No, I was not paid or compensated. I am just happy this has worked so well.

Parts are a nightmare to find. Water tank cracked

the water tank cracked after warranty (the wife dropped it but is now usable as a single serving water tank. I have been trying to find only a replacement water tank. Can not find any part replacements on Nespresso.com, Amazon has overpriced replacement tanks $70+ for a $10 part and EBay only has used water tanks. No parts list available in Vertuo manual or on the part itself. The water tank should at least be durable to support being dropped and not crack like the acrylic that is currently being used. Lost 2 points here since no parts list and cheap materials being used. After a while, the spinning action of the vertuo cups goes off balanced and makes a vibrating sound. The coffee from this concept is actually good. The price for this unit should not be more than $60 since the inside where the hot coffee is dripping down is entirely made of plastic. -1 point for plastic hot coffee drip channel. I sure hope they will upgrade to stainless stain drip channel instead with no plastic parts touching the hot coffee (remember microplastics gets leeched into the coffee). for any units over $150, it should have all stainless steel hot coffee channel to drip into the cup. For your health and safety, consider the all metal models.Vertuo cup lids should not be plastic as well. It should be aluminum instead.

Second Nespresso

Horrible machine for me. Unfortunately, first machine broke, Nespresso was nice enough to replace with a new one. I had the second one for less than a year and it just stopped working. I took good care of it. It was only myself that used it. One coffee per day. Not sure if it is this model or my bad luck. The coffee was amazing. I do miss it, unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy another. 😞I am now using my old Keurig that I have had for years. Unlike these two Nespresso machines. 2 machines in 2 years. Both broke. My old Keurig still works, just needs to be descaled every so often. Too bad Nespresso doesn’t make them to last longer.

The best on the market

Better than the last Nespresso machine we had. This unit was purchased as an open box. Being a little skeptical I inspected the machine as soon as I unboxed it. Rinsed the reservoir and make a cup of coffee. I had to adjust the factory setting after the first cup as it wasn't the size I like. Not a problem to resolve. I was also surprised to find samples inside the box. You can't get a better deal than that. The delivery was extremely fast. I cannot believe this machine was that price. Try finding it on the shelf of any store that carries it, you will pay in excess of $150.
