I love this sunscreen. Of course, it's a little pricy for sunscreen. However its definitely worth every penny. It smells great, doesn't leave an oily residue. It definitely protects my skin, I burn easily. Plus, it's a great product for my skin. Doesnt clog my pores and it's long lasting. Of course, reapplication is a must.

I really like the Neutrogena Mineral Beach Defense Sunscreen Stick as it’s a unique way to apply sunscreen; that said, it goes on easily and smoothly and dries quickly which is great. This sunscreen really is “on-the-go” as it says, you don’t have to worry about a bottle of sunscreen spilling in your bag with this, which is amazing. It doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue and it doesn’t really have a scent at all, which is nice compared to the traditional sunscreen smell. It also applies invisible and without a white residue, which I loved! I also like that it is 100% mineral active and naturally sourced. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

Bad reaction to new formula

This used to be my go to waterproof sunscreen, but aside from removing the oxybenzone, they have completely changed the formula and I ended up with a horrific allergic reaction all of my arms and legs. It was an itchy, bumpy nightmare which led me to research what happened because it never happened to me before when using this. The ingredients label in the photos and in the description are the old formula. The new one is completely different. That needs to be updated. I really hate when companies change formulas but I’m sure it has to do with the cost of goods to keep the price low. Oh well. On to find a new brand!

Not for oily/combo skin

I bought for my daughter, and it seems to help prevent any burning. I use it daily for her as she goes to school in this hot weather. She’s 4 and can have oils applied to her skin without making her greasy. I can’t. I have used it on my skin (I have combo skin- more oily than dry) and it’s a bit too oily for my skin. However, it did work well to protect from burning. Also, it smells really good. It doesn’t smell like typical sunscreen, but has a somewhat fruity fragrance.

my fav sunscreen

I use it on my face outdoors and at the beach (uv index in my country is 11 in the middle of the day) and have never burned. the stick form allows you to apply it without a mirror and without getting your hands dirty. hopefully it will be back on sale soon. i apply two layers, my face looks a little shiny but i love the way it looks. in the evening i make sure to wash my face with a cleanser.also i love the smell! and my friends do too.
