Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturiser SPF15 29ml

I love this moisturizer! I have dry and sensitive skin and out of all the products at all different price ranges that I’ve tried, this is hands-down the best. It has a creamy feel to it and goes on smooth and absorbs quickly with no greasy or oily residue. It keeps my skin soft through the day and prevents me from getting burnt if I’m in the sun too long. After 2 weeks of daily use I could notice the fine lines around my eyes start to disappear.

It seems that every overnight moisturizer I've ever tried has led to clogged pores, no matter what I do. It doesn't matter what type of cleanser I use beforehand, what type of moisturizer I use (heavy, light, etc), whether I exfoliate, whether I steam my pores or close them with cold water... Until this! I primarily use it to prevent breakouts. I tend to get breakouts along my jawline, especially monthly hormonal breakouts. This stuff, when used daily, helps prevent them or at least lessen the number and severity. It's not marketed as an acne product, but that's more what I use it for. As for its "moisturizer" label, I'd say it's more of an acne-moisturizer hybrid cream. Anyway, I don't care that I'm "?" as to its claims to repair wrinkles and moisturize because what it does for me in the breakout prevention department is so amazing. I give it 5 stars for that alone. It truly is my HG. One downside is that the bottle is opaque, so it's hard to tell when the product is getting low. I assume this is to protect the ingredients from the effects of light/sunlight. I just make sure to keep an extra one on-hand for when the current one runs out.

Does anyone read the directions or know about retinol?

This is great. A non oily sunscreen with anti-again properties has been amazing. A lot of reviews don't recommend because of peeling, purge pimples, and red burning skin. If you've never used retinol start at once or twice a week and work up. Don't just start using everyday. PATCH TEST especially with sensitive skin and Retinol. And use a moisturizer without any actives to use first or using the "sandwich" technique. From what I can tell most of the bad reviews could have been avoided if normal retinol precautions were taken.

Normally I would have knocked more stars for that, but if you read the bottle, it tells you that that can happen because of chemical exfoliation and if it does, reduce use to once every other day for a while and then you can bump it back up to everyday. After reducing it to every other day, my skin quickly returned to its regular texture and the soreness went away. I’m currently using it under my makeup every other day as my sunscreen and moisturizer. It should be mentioned that while this is an SPF 30 moisturizer, it does not leave a white cast on the skin after application, so that is a plus. Results: yes, I would say that this product does what is says it will do. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth have been noticeably reduced, as have my forehead wrinkles. Because it caused some initial irritation, I’m reluctant to go back to daily use, and I will likely keep it in my routine as an every other day morning moisturizer. I would recommend that if you know you have sensitive skin, save yourself some discomfort and use it every other day at first and then bump it up if necessary.

This cream works for me, so I am coming back and typing in exactly the cream I bought the first time by chance and buying the same bottle again because it makes me look 29 again and I’m 35 and my skin looks like porcelain. It works!

I tried this since Neutrogena anti wrinkle deep wrinkle daily moisturizer with spf is not available. I used it for over 30 years and it kept my skin looking beautiful. This product is a little stronger but it keeps my minor wrinkles at bay. I have kept my skin looking good since I never smoked, never drugs, never coffee, no wine for over 20 years. This lifestyle is obviously not for everyone.

Not satisfied

I chose this spf because of the well-known brand and its best series with retinol. Here we have 2in1 because it has anti-aging properties and protection against UV radiation. Unfortunately, with the amount required for adequate protection, the cream was able to smudge, roll and, worst of all, sting in the eyes. I used up on the days when I wasn't leaving the house. The product was heavily perfumed, which was also annoying.

It contains retinol, which smooths wrinkles & fades age spots better than other moisturizers I've tried. It also has hyaluronic acid, which adds moisture into your skin to plump your wrinkles lines. I keep coming back to Neutrogena because it works! At my age, retinol & hyaluronic acid are a must have to keep my skin from getting worse, & instead, get better with more use. An added bonus is the fact it contains SPF 30, a daily, must use, product if I want my skin to get better. This moisturizer isn't too heavy & layers well under your foundation and other makeup. Visible change within one week

I have tried and changed three expensive skin care products within the past year, and nothing worked. I went back to Neutrogena which I had used over a decade ago and got visible results within a week. My face was a little dry in some areas and I added the moisturizer for extra dry skin. I am excited about the results. No going back for me.

allergic reaction

I used both the Rapid Wrinkle Repair moisturizer (daytime) and the regenerating cream (nighttime) and after 7 days my face was itchy, swollen and covered with red splotches. Saw my dermatologist today, and she noticed that Myrtus Communis Leaf Extract is an ingredient in both. If you are allergic to evergreens - and I am very, very allergic to junipers - then yes, this line of product will cause a reaction. I do love the Ageless Intensive line and am going back to that.
