I was hesitant because I had used 10% benzoyl peroxide years prior with really bad results (too harsh, burned my skin). This was much gentler. I used it sparingly at first and after a week or two of gentle use, my skin acclimated fine and now I can slather it all over without problems. I noticed results overnight and my skin continued to improve. My acne has been reduced by about 95% and is completely manageable now. I always have at least one backup because I never want to run out. It's been 5 years and it still works as well as day one. This is one of the few brands that works wonders on my acne. This specific product has benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient, so it's more effective than those with salicylic acid (at least in my case).I applied it almost every day, sometimes twice, and still it lasted me for 7 months. It doesn't have a strong smell, but it can dry the skin a little bit after extensive use. I applied Neutrogena sunscreen over it when leaving the house, and this combo has worked well for me. I also almost don't have any breakouts anymore despite living in a rather hot climate.Highly recommended to anyone who's been trying to get rid of acne for years.

I have had acne for 10 years now. And have recently simplified my routine. Now I use this in the morning, my cerave pm moisturizer & sunscreen. when using benzoyl peroxide you may experience burning, peeling, irritation. start off slow. like 2x a week and increase it once you find you're not reacting to it. Then built up your tolerance and increase until you can use it everydah. This is a pretty mild formula. I use it every morning. I still get breakouts here and there but that's because I refuse to give up dairy completely. This has lessened the frequency of my pimples and when I do get them they fade faster too. I will keep repurchasing. A reminder... skincare can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months to see results. Have patience and Goodluck!

I have stubborn little bumps (the size resembles milia for reference but it's not milia) under my skin all over my face that looks like a mask of acne. I applied this after cleansing and after my toner. Went to wash my hands after walking my dog for the morning and HOLY COW the bumps on the right side of my face have dang near melted away! I have to use pea sized amount mixed with an oil free irritant free moisturizer for it to work and not irritate. I made the mistake of using too much the first time and with a moisturizer that had alcohol and fragrance, even in tiny amounts. ( you can tell by how far down the ingredients list they are, towards the end). The next morning my skin was red, itchy and burning. It died down after a day or two but wow. If you have just one or two angry spots it does work to just dab a bit on the spot let it soak in and then go in with a moisturizer all over the face. I absolutely love this stuff! I'd used a sample size of the "blackhead control" product of the same line from a beauty box and that stuff was great, so I was really lookin forward to trying this. The packaging is efficient(cleaner than having product in a jar or anything u have to dip ur fingers into repeatedly); it's in a flip top container n opens/closes without an issue. I didn't notice a scent to it, and it didn't irritate or tingle/burn at all. I had a HUGE pimple starting on my chin when this came, n after using this literally 3x, it's already gone. That's usually a difficult feat to accomplish when one of those types of blemishes crops up. I was super pumped about it lol. Definitely gonna be buying a bottle when this one runs out! I wash my face. I put on the treatment. Then I apply a a vegan moisturizer. Before the moisturizer, I feel the treatment tightening up on my face. I don't mind that, so I let it do its work until I don't feel the tightness. That's about 30 minutes to 1 hour later. That's when I apply the moisturizer. I'm happy with the results so far. The treatment has been working on the existing and old stubborn acne I have going on. An old jawline nodule wouldn't flatten for weeks. When I put the treatment on it, it's gone down. My post acne hyperpigmentation seems to have lightened up. I obsess over my skin so I know when it's getting better or worse.
