We ordered this mattress as a replacement for a 10 year old memory foam mattress that had become too compacted. We were hoping that a hybrid mattress would provide more support but not firm up as much as memory foam tends to do.It arrived in a pretty beat up box. In the future I would recommend the manufacturer ship this box inside another box for extra protection. Thankfully the inner plastic bag wasn t torn and the mattress was perfectly intact.It unrolled and puffed up quickly! I bought this mattress to replace the guest bedroom mattress at my mother's house, since I have to frequently visit. Because it's not my regular bed, I didn't want to spend too much money, but I wanted something that would be supportive but also cooling. This mattress offers both features. The edges of the mattress are a little too soft, especially when you sit on the side of the bed, but that fact doesn't take away from the support the memory foam offers once one is sitting against the headboard or lying down. I toss and turn at night, and so I tried the mattress on my sides, my back, and my stomach. All positions were comfortable. I don't know how the mattress will handle more frequent use, but it's perfect for my purpose.

We upgraded from a queen to a king. So when this arrived it sat in the box for a few months until we could find the right bedframe. We allowed it to decompress for two days before we put the new frame together and got rid of the queen. It fit my Wayfair bed frame with ease. It does take two people to move around. The mattress its self is not overly firm. It is firmer than my old mattress. I used to have back issues with my old mattress. I do not have them now since I have been using this mattress. I bought this to replace a very old matress in my spare room, and I mean old. My mattress is not frequently used since getting married, so i never changed the mattress I got in the earlier 2000s. My mom was having problems and pain from sleeping in the bed. Even my pig stopped jumping onto the bed. This is a budget friendly option. It is my first non- traditional mattress. My mother has stayed over a few times and sleeps better. She is not so sure how it will feel for extended time, but we will update when that happens. I needed to get something before I start my medical treatment and she stays over to help take care of me. Also, my pig has jumped into the bed when my mom sleeps over again.

I did notice that one side of the mattress was concave but I expected it would fill out as it continued to decompress; one month later, it is now obvious that this is a defect.
