Nexcare Bandages, Waterproof, Clear, One Size - 20 bandages

I volunteer to receive free 3M products in order to review them. I am reviewing Nexcare Clear/Waterproof Bandages. The package includes 3 sizes of bandages. The bandages are sized to be used to cover a variety of minor cuts. The bandages include a small thin cushioned patch makes up the part of the bandage that should cover the wound. The bandages are invisible to a point, depending on how they are placed. The bandages do stick well, however I found that they last longer when placed on flat surfaces. At least in my case, the bandage didn't remain in place on my finger for as long a time. I am a frequent hand washer. I would have rated these higher but the invisible part of the bandage, in my opinion, is much too thin. I am a frequent hand washer. I would have rated these higher but the invisible part of the bandage, in my opinion, is much too thin. I found it very hard to separate the sticky portion of the bandage from the white glossy paper backing the bandage. This resulted in me having to go through several bandages before I could get one to properly stick to my test wound. The bandage has to be slowly and gingerly removed from the backing. With some improvements these bandages could be top notch performers.

I received a free sample of the Nexcare assorted bandages from 3M to review. I am a fan of Nexcare products generally, and I appreciated that this box contained different sizes of bandages for different needs. When applied correctly (it can be tough sometimes to avoid wrinkles when applying), the bandage sticks firmly and creates a waterproof seal. I used them when I had some small cuts on my hands, and I was able to wash dishes, do chores, wash my hands repeatedly, etc, without affecting the bandage. My cuts stayed dry and clean because of the Nexcare bandage. However, because the bandage is so effective, removing it can be a challenge. Some adhesive residue remained. It wasn't a big problem, but I wish the bandage were a little easier to remove.

I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M and the company recently sent me a sample of Nexcare Clear Waterproof Bandages, Knee & Elbow, eight pack, same size. The thing I like best is how the bandage seals and stayed sealed, even when wet. My husband had skin cancer removed from the top of his hand and had to keep the wound sealed and covered for two weeks. These bandages were great. He was able to bathe and wash his hands without having to change the bandage frequently. They are clear so they didn't draw attention to the wound. The bandages were changed every 12 hours and the seal was always intact. I would recommend this bandage be kept in everyone's first aid kit.
