I bought this product, because I needed a sturdy and portable/collapsible rig for my newly acquired sim racing hardware (Fanatec CSL DD wheel base w/8nm torque; Fanatec ClubSport peddles; Fanatec 7 speed manual shifter). I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and have been happy with my purchase.PROS:- Good value for the price.- Fairly simple and quick assembly (around an hour and a half).- Sturdy, especially considering this is a portable unit.- Pre drilled mounting holes were perfectly aligned for my Fanatec equipment.- Very easy to fine tune the tilt of the mounted components (can tilt the wheel base forward/backwards; shifter can be tilted very easily, too).- Easy to move the foot peddles forwards or backwards, to accommodate drivers of various ... MoreI bought this product, because I needed a sturdy and portable/collapsible rig for my newly acquired sim racing hardware (Fanatec CSL DD wheel base w/8nm torque; Fanatec ClubSport peddles; Fanatec 7 speed manual shifter). Mounted perpendicularly, it's not very ergonomic, as the shift knob is too high. However, tilting the shifter forward about 30 degrees, solved this problem. Now, the shifter position feels ergonomically comfortable and natural. This is very easy to adjust (no tools required) in literally seconds. So, this isn't really a con, unless one has a tall shifter and really desires it to be perpendicularly mounted.- The seat made my behind sore, after about 30 minutes. There is no cushioning on the seat. I solved this issue by using a small pillow to sit on.- The seat back is not adjustable. For me, it was close to being just right, but not perfect. If a more upright position is desired (or a shorter person is driving), simply use a pillow behind the back. (For reference, I'm 5'8. Drivers have so far ranged from 5'2 to 6'2, without issue).- During assembly, I had some difficulty with two bolts. They have to go through an outside tube and also through an inside tube. To accomplish this, I lined the holes up by putting a small screwdriver through. Fortunately, this is a one-time thing, as I have no plans to take the rig apart.Overall, I find this to be a well designed portable rig. It's probably as close to perfect, as one could expect, for being portable. Especially, considering the price this is offered at. Also, being that is is a portable rig, the cons are forgivable and easily solvable. I recommend this product and would purchase this again.

Assembly was easy. Folding it up for storage is quick and easy as well. Using the cockpit with Moza R9 (9Nm) base and SR-P pedal. The rig is solid without flex unless pressing the brake pedal really hard. Only then does the bottom start to lift some. The wheel base doesn't move. Had to drill one hole to mount the base properly. The pedals went on without any modification.

I am surprised with how nice this seat actually is. I expected something like a camping chair that I can attach wheels and pedals to and that is pretty much what you get but it is actually pretty comfortable for me.The fabric feels like a nice velvet and seems to be well stitched. The frame only slighty flexes when in use though rally and drift fans might need something more sturdy. My thrustmaster t248 wheel and pedals sit nicely in the seat but the cord linking the wheels and pedals needs about 10cm more to allow some cable management. Also the bolts provided are too short for the wheel so I needed to use some longer ones I had.The seat cant really be adjusted much and cant be adjusted at all whilst you are seated in it. Packed up you could probably store it in you garage somewhere but it is still to big to discretely tuck in a corner somewhere. All that said, if you fit in this seat it feels great and for the price you can tolerate its shortcomings.

This is perfect for everyone who wants a racing cockpit and either can't afford the big ones, or they don't have the room for a large rigid rig. I struggled with both of those. For the price, its a great seat with adjustments. I do wish the seat was hard with a cushion instead of the camping chair style, but that's about it. It only really comes into play if you sit in it for hours, which you will, because it's so much fun. The major selling point for me was the fact that I can fold it up and put it in my closet when I'm done. And you don't even have to take the Wheel, pedals, or shifter off. It all gets folded and put away. I can't recommend this seat enough, unless you have the money and space for a larger rigid setup with a real car seat. I am using it with my Logitech G920 wheel and shifter. Fits great. Seat comes with 8 bolts for the wheel, pedals, and shifter.
This is a great entry level chair for those looking to try a dedicated racing setup. I purchased this so I could bolt my wheel and pedals to an actual chassis. The chair is not very supportive, but it is breathable. It I race for more than 2 hours I can feel myself getting sore. The main problem I have found with this setup is that the chair tries to raise up when pressing the brake pedal hard. You have to push the wheel away from you to help control it which can be difficult. I found that the wheel mount has a lip that I could tuck under my desk and made this a non issue. Putting the desk together isn’t too difficult, however it can be cumbersome to get it into position to drive. It’s a good chair for the price and I am happy with it, just know that it also can ... MoreThis is a great entry level chair for those looking to try a dedicated racing setup. I compared this vs the Playseat Challenge before choosing the GT Lite, I wanted a seat that I could fold up and put away when not in use.So far I'm very happy with it, it is easy to set up and out away, feels sturdy and I've adjusted the position to suit my preferences. If you brake very heavily then the front of the seat will lift up, on a Logitech G923 this is not really an issue unless I press very hard and very quickly and even then it raises a couple of inches at most, it certainly does not affect driving for me. This is an issue inherent to these folding seats it seems and some people indicate placing a weight on the frame stops it.Folded up it measures roughly 1.12m long, 0.56m wide & 0.7m tall/deep. I find it difficult to recommend the product as I expected it to add to the experience being in a cool seat while you play but it in fact is really cumbersome, heavy and the act of folding is not as easy as you would think once the wheel, shifter and pedals are screwed in, and you are cable managed.I purchased it explicitly for the folding capacity as I live in an apartment building. I just cant be bothered to fold it and unfold it over and over and re-cable manage. The means of stability through a single strap on the left side is not good at all, and needs to be re-done constantly to get in and out. It REALLY needs to be muscled hard to get that stability out of it.Even with the strap muscled as hard as possibly can, the back does not sit still and you are ... MoreI find it difficult to recommend the product as I expected it to add to the experience being in a cool seat while you play but it in fact is really cumbersome, heavy and the act of folding is not as easy as you would think once the wheel, shifter and pedals are screwed in, and you are cable managed.I purchased it explicitly for the folding capacity as I live in an apartment building. It REALLY needs to be muscled hard to get that stability out of it.Even with the strap muscled as hard as possibly can, the back does not sit still and you are reclining/sinking into it. Its more akin to park or beach fold seat and less as a racing rig.The installation while easy in process is lengthened and made difficult by metal parts and screws machined by the lowest bidder. The screws are guaranteed to strip, and a lot of the metal tubing needs to be muscled hard to fit especially the rear bar contact against the ground. It almost looked like it was the wrong size it was that bad.Lastly it needs to be cable managed and getting in and out is a bit of a pain.My recommendation is to look elsewhere if you wanted immersion. If you dont have the funds for a more immersive setup it might be best to forego immersion and go for convenience and comfort with desk setup or something simple like that for your racing needs. Same goes for those who are space limited.I'll continue using it as I don't really have a choice as its still one of the smallest rigs I can have in an apartment since I cannot mess with my desk. Maybe looking at the playseat versions are a good option as they seem more sturdy, less fiddly and easier to get in and out of.
Next Level's GTLite has improved my lap times and has given me a breath of fresh air when it comes to racing games. Prior to this rig, I've been a dualshock daddy so I'm still in the honeymoon phase. I mounted Logitech's G29 pedal, wheels and shifter to the set up and I was impressed with the stability and integrity of the frame. The majority of the adjustment features offer a wide range of variability and the way it folds is genius! My only concern was that the seat latches only prevent the seat from going back and not forward causing a slouching posture (seat doesn't have an adjustable recline. I have to put a little pillow behind me to find that perfect upright position. I purchased this after researching it along with the Playseat Challenge. I knew going in that it wasn't the most compact of the options which was unfortunate, but I liked that it sat higher (better for use at a desk), came with a proper shifter mount, had proper hard mounts for the pedals, and was a bit cheaper.Unfortunately, I knew really quickly it wasn't for me once I got it assembled. First, it's even bigger than I expected. I'm not a large person (5'8, 120lb), so the whole thing is bigger than necessary for me and means it'll take more space to store than it needs to. I knew this going in, but it just feels oversized when I sit in it.Secondly, although it has a robust adjustment mechanisms, the fact that these need to be undone when folding it up is a ... MoreI purchased this after researching it along with the Playseat Challenge. I knew this going in, but it just feels oversized when I sit in it.Secondly, although it has a robust adjustment mechanisms, the fact that these need to be undone when folding it up is a pretty major drawback for a foldable cockpit. Here again, I knew it took a bit of effort to fold up, but once I experienced it I found it quite tedious and frustrating. Finally, the included shift mount was unusable for me. I plan to get the Fanatec shifter which is tall and bottom mounts to this mount, and the mount position means that the shifter would be far too high and forward to easily reach, let alone be comfortable. In the end I decided to return it and get the Playseat Challenge instead and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Yes, I'll need to figure out a shifter mounting scheme for the Playseat, but aside from that it's more comfortable, convenient and compact for me. Larger people may find the GTLite the better option, but for everyone else I'd suggest the Playseat Challenge instead.
Coming from a 75$ wheel stand for my Thrustmaster gear (shifter, TMX wheel, T3PM pedals) this is a huge improvement! Cockpit rigidity is very important for Sim Racing and not having to worry about the stand sliding around, or my chair sliding around is a huge confidence boost. There is also a lot less flex then my wheel stand had. The quality of the chair is very good, it doesn't feel cheap or like it will fall apart after a short time. It's also nice that it can fold up if needed. Putting it together was a little more work then I expected, but the instructions were good. While the pedal mounts and steering wheel mounts are very adjustable, the seat itself can only be raised in height or lowered. The back rest is not adjustable at all. While the pedal mounts and steering wheel mounts are very adjustable, the seat itself can only be raised in height or lowered. The back rest is not adjustable at all. It should not be a problem for most people though as the pedal placement and wheel have plenty of options. I gave it four stars for only one reason, as others have said, the seat is not the most comfortable even after only like a half hour, but add a gel pad or memory foam pad and it's all good. For the price, this is well worth the money and will make you a much better sim racer, and as it's easier to use then a wheel stand and separate chair (I had to use weights among other things to hold everything in place, I use it more often. It also allows for the use of much heavier brake pedals without having to worry about pushing the stand forward, or the chair I am in back as this one is all connected. I wish I had just gone ahead and bought this to begin with and saved the money not buying a stand. Only advantage I can see to buying a more expensive cockpit is seat comfort, and if you wanted to add the motion device that can go under them, as this chair wouldn't work for that.
