Product Quality:I've always trusted Nikon, and this is the OEM quality type. No doubt about it. I hope it will last as long as the first one.Value For Money:Very, very reasonable and exactly the same kind of Nikon D3400 batteries I needed.Best Feature:Securely wrapped with the necessary "fragile" sign on the packaging.

Value For Money:kinda expensive but worth itProduct Quality:the quality of the product is that it does not last long compared to the original battery, it is good enough as a reserve battery. just in case the other battery is dead batt it might be good to use it for a few hours..Best Feature:so far it is quite similar than the original one but the fonts are quite bigger than the original battery...

Bought this as a replacement for 1 of the 2 that came with my Nikon D3500 in 2019. After 4.5 years of regular use of both batteries, one of them developed swelling problems- refusing to completely release from the camera. After a few more charge cycles, only very strong tape could pull it out of the battery compartment. So I ordered a new one. It's overpriced really, but hard to argue. The D3500 will shoot nearly all day long with one of these. Considering the time it lasted it was an investment of roughly $10 a year-not bad at all.

After looking at a number of different batteries, I ultimately settled on the Nikon branded EN-EL 14a battery, due to the proven reliability and longevity of them. While I have used 3rd party batteries in the past, even ones listed as compatible would occasionally be detected by the camera's battery DRM. Beyond that, it was common to get a 3rd party battery that would offer slightly less battery life for a around 20 dollars less, while listing a capacity of 1500mAh, but even in cases like that, they would quickly degrade after a few months of use. With it being nearly impossible to figure out where a company is sourcing their Li-Ion cells from, I ended up just paying the price premium to get the Nikon battery. Item as described - looks to be the genuine article. Charging at the moment. For some items it is worth paying a bit more for OEM parts that work. - Thanks
Item was not clearly described as 'open box' or 'used'. It came loose, no packaging inside the shipping envelope. It appears to have signs of wear/use - leading me to believe it is either a used or counterfeit battery, which gives concern about it's life span. I've attempted to contact the seller about the condition of the product, with no response. (2) Red Flags for this transaction - 1) The battery was shipped via FedEx Air without special packaging or marking, as required per IATA (Lithium Ion batteries require special marking %26 packaging related to fire risk/explosion - this was a $27,000 civil penalty offense by the seller). 2) The battery showed signs of wear. This item is either used or a grey market good, and not 'new' which it appears to be, via the ... MoreItem was not clearly described as 'open box' or 'used'. it seems it looks like the battery supplied is defective. After inserting it into the my Nikon d5100, the display shows the message "This Battery cannot be used. Choose battery designated for use in this camera". Through the viewfinder of the camera you can also see that the battery is almost discharged but after inserting it into the charger the blinking light indicating charging slowly fades until it goes out completely so the battery cannot even be charged. I guess I was unlucky to have a defective piece because another battery works in the camera without any problems
