Very, very capable camera and huge step up from my previous X100S.I held onto my previous camera for +10 years (still love the images I get from it). Likely to do the same with this one.The only issue was the length of time to receive the order (+4months) - talk about a test of delayed gratification! I should stress, that was not Adorama's fault - I had the camera in my hands within a couple of days of it being physically available (from their supplier) for Adorama to ship out.
Favorite camera
I've been shooting with the X100V since 2022, and upgrading to the X100VI this year has been a fantastic step forward. The autofocus is noticeably faster, and the addition of IBIS is a game-changer. Over the past decade, I've been caught in the cycle of buying and selling gear thanks to my GAS, but this year, I committed to keeping only a few essentials. I pared down my collection to just a handful of film cameras and one or two digital bodies. Primarily, I shoot with my Leica MP, which has been my go-to for years, but the X100VI is the perfect digital backup, especially in low-light or rainy situations. I can easily see myself keeping the VI for the long haul-it's the ideal companion when my MP isn't practical.
Waited for this beauty about 8 months and loving it so much!!!!! I love how they created nostalgic negative as one of the film simulations. So happy but I wish they had a manual switch for photo to video
A beautiful camera that was shipped quickly. This is my first Fujifilm camera and it's better than I expected.
The fact that Adorama helped me get my hands on one of these is amazing on its own but the camera itself is also amazing. Perfect size for travel and awesome film simulations. Couldn't be happier to have bought this for my family trips.
I received my VI today and found that there is something in the camera body that shakes. So I returned it and asked for a replacement. Hope this is just a one-off thing.
