I’ve only had this for a couple of weeks but it is quickly becoming my New Favorite Thing. I have been using it multiple times per day since I got it and have been very pleased with everything I’ve cooked in it so far. I’m mostly using the bake and air fry functions but it has so many options to cook just about anything and it always turns out great. I find the controls to be very user friendly and easy to use, and I love that it flips up out of the way when I’m not using it to save counter space. For an appliance with such a small footprint it’s surprisingly roomy inside and I can easily cook for a crowd. I also can’t get over how fast it heats up to the proper temperature. The oven has a nice clean look. It’s rather big and it’s a big convenience that it folds up for storage or leave on the kitchen counter, because it would take up a lot of space otherwise. The buttons and functions are easy to understand and makes it almost foolproof cooking. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes the some recipe ideas and food prep recommendations. Pretty easy cleanup, I put aluminum foil down on the baking sheet when I did wings and then I threw the air fryer basket in the dishwasher and it came out pretty clean with the exception of a few stuck on pieces that came off with a sponge. Wish there was a little more separation from the baking rack and basket. When you remove something and don’t shut the door right away the temperature drops ... MoreThe oven has a nice clean look. On dry days easy to use in the garden by the BBQ on a side table - now that's better than a side burner!Can't recommend it enough, used daily and has lasted well as it is so easy to clean, the drip tray and shelves and trays just go straight in the dishwasher and still look practically like new.
Great price on the refurbished unit. It's easy to set the time and temperature for any mode. We use the air fry mode mostly but the other modes are easy to access and use. It has a pretty wide opening so overall it's a bit wider than many of the "toaster ovens" that I grew up with. Love the pivot feature so that it takes up less counter space when not in use. When i first set it up I found on the left inside of the unit there was a tab for the bottom slot that prevented the grate from sliding in properly. I had to slightly bend the tab outward with a pair of needle nose pliers so that the large grate would slide into the bottom slot. And the power cord absolutely must be pulled away from the storage slots on back of the unit when it's turned on as IMHO the cord gets ... MoreGreat price on the refurbished unit. I love that once the crumb tray is removed, you can flip the open up, press a button & expose the inside (pic included) to clean it well! Once I started getting more creative with my meals, however, it became apparent what the flaws were of this particular ninja product. To begin, the oven is difficult to clean: because of the way that the unit is designed, it is very easy to get it dirty, and particularly full of grease on both the top and bottom of the inside. This wasn't an issue for me initially, but right before the warranty was up, I did start getting the error codes listed below. Specifically, I always received "Call Customer service, error code 2." Not knowing what error code 2 was, I called customer service and they mentioned that I can simply turn off the unit and turn it back on again and that would fix my error code. Being the naive person that I am, I listened, but in reality it should have raised a red flag to me--why would the unit be stating an error code if the unit itself is functioning properly? For some time, turning the unit on/off seemed to remove the error code, but again I was unclear of what the error code meant in the first place. When I noticed that the on/off fix wasn't working anymore, I called customer service again. They informed me that error code 2 means that the unit is extremely hot and needs to cool off before use again. This started to make way less sense to me considering that the unit is an oven! The whole purpose of an oven is that it is going to get hot. When speaking with customer service, they informed me that in order to get rid of the error code, I would need to let the unit to cool off before using it again. Now, mind you, this error code starting happening during cooking, meaning, I was in the middle of baking veggies when the unit displayed this error code and turned off. In speaking with customer service, I did repeatedly let them know that having to wait for the unit to cool down before use again is not the product that is advertised. In other words, what would be the purpose an oven that constantly overheats? Again, it wouldn't take very much for the unit to overheat, typically 5-10 mins of use, also not at all practical. It feels very much against common sense for an air fryer/oven unit to have the downfall of overheating repeatedly. I would like to think that perhaps I had a faulty unit, but in reading some of the negative reviews of others (which I should have done before purchase), my issue does not seem specific to me. With all of this said, I am extremely disappointed in this product because I really had high hopes for it considering other ninja products that I have used previously. Furthermore, customer service did not prove helpful in solving my issue and keeping me as a happy customer since now my unit is out of the 1 year warranty, and no longer functions as intended. Because of this experience, I will no longer be purchasing any further shark/ninja products because I was hoping for a better resolution to my issue.-

So far, I have made toast and bagels on the toast setting, frozen fries and frozen chicken tenders on the air fry setting, chocolate chip cookies and frozen pizza on the bake settings, and I made a sheet pan meal with cubed chicken breast, cubed potatoes and cut up onions on the air roast setting. So far so good. The only issue I've had so far, is I did get the fries a little dark on the edges, but they still tasted great. The oven has been pretty easy to keep clean. For the most part, aside from the pans and rack, it's mainly keeping the crumb tray clean. I did, however, have some grease to spatters to wipe off after cooking the sheet pan meal. The flip up feature is my favorite feature. It keeps the oven out of the way when not in use.
Okay where to start: I have ADHD and my main oven cooker / hob failed last weekend. My parents had this fold up oven and at first I was like erm it doesnt sound good then they sent pictures and its exactly same one as here looked small. They dropped it off to me next day. I cooked a refrigated pizza on the BAKE option it says in the book at it was cooked to perfection in 6 - 7 minutes on 220 deggrees C (Pizza express sloppy guissepe - stonebake)Yesterday I used the grill option to do some British Bacon medellions (Fat removed) not sure if I could use any of the other settings however Grill is how I know how to cook bacon amongst other meats mostly with some exceptions for ovem. Took about 10 minutes on low setting to do both sides will try the hi setting and see if it does the job without burning next time.I am just experimenting because really I dont know how to use this applience and the book it comes with is limited and wont give you the answers for a lot of general foods.One last thing cleaning it is difficult. My parents had used it on an number of occasions and loved it for airfryer results on chips though it has grease and dirt up on celling and is very difficult to get in and clean so it loses 2 stars for that. must be aimed at older people because I personally think its overpriced but I guess you get that with brands like Ninja. Havent tried Customer service yet though seen some other reviews that said they are not the best so will wait and see plus unlike other companies they dont seem to reply to reviews :(
