Takes a bit of getting used to all of the different settings and the best way to cook things, was a little daunting at first and a bit trial and error but on the whole we use the ninja more than our oven now - it cooks things in half the time with much better texture and flavour. The instructions that come with it could be better, we ended up watching videos on You Tube to see what the vent positioning should look like as it's meant to be loose but it's kind of hard to tell when it's in the right position. And the instructions say to twist the vent cap off for cleaning but turns out you squeeze and pull it to get it off. Still to master most of the settings and cooking more than one thing at a time but generally really pleased with our purchase.

So happy!! So easy to use, easy to clean (food slides off the ceramic coated pot), easy to follow instructions. Does everything you need, slow cook, pressure cook, air-fry, steam, sauté, grill, roast, the list goes on! It includes some recipes which are great. Pots and racks are dishwasher safe as well. Having a family of four I find it holds more than I need and saves me time and less hassle in the kitchen. My kids love the roast chicken and veg. So juicy and full of flavour. Can’t really fault it. I only wish I had one sooner, it’s just the best!

Takes care of a load of cooking functions very well. Bought instead of getting a new microwave with grill function (Too costly and already have a good microwave.) Wanting to reduce Oven use, cooking times and use less electricity when grilling or roasting. The base heating device has good temperature controls - so you can do things like saute or sear or steam, you can cook food low and slow like a traditional slow-cooker - but with the range of temperature control it also allows you to do odd things like make yogurt or cook sous vide, proof bread or dehydrate food. Bake bread, cakes and so much more. The pressure cooking, air frying and steam frying, combine steam with hot air from above to crisp things, are all brilliant and really time and energy saving. Bake bread, cakes and so much more. The pressure cooking, air frying and steam frying, combine steam with hot air from above to crisp things, are all brilliant and really time and energy saving. As a pressure cooker, it is outstanding. Comes to pressure quickly, operates almost silently, and the pressure can be released quickly amazed at how much pressure, the speed and quality of cooking. The air fryer option option also works very well - with excellent convection and an insert with handles that allow you to easily shake the food to redistribute it for even cooking. Watch your fingers though as so easy to get burnt when taking the rack out. Maybe not quite so good as a dedicated Air Fryer though. The steam-and-crisp function has to be the most used so far. Allowing prep of one-pot meals by layering three different food groups in three levels - one to be cooked in liquid such as Pasta, rice, oats or potato's, one cooked in steam, such as veggies, and one up top to be steamed and air-broiled (crisped) from above (meat or fish). Most functions are clear and intuitive but can take a little getting used to, some trail and error involved and trust in suggested cooking times. Found loads of recipes and guides online but the manual is pretty good. Really found it a great energy saver, reducing the amount of oven time and cooker rings previously used so money saver too! Salmon with new Pots and Veg 10/10 Chops with Veg 10/10 Fish cakes 10/10 Stews....etc etc all brilliant. It is VERY heavy - much heavier than standard slow cookers or other multi-cookers and the multi-use top is permanently attached to so cannot be removed, although the gasket can be removed for cleaning.

First I have a small kitchen, I thought that I would be saving room since it did multiple applications in one machine. But it's big, a few smaller appliances would have been better. You need storage that is not difficult to store a tall heavy (11kg I think) and lift from a low level to work top easily. With the lid open its too big for under my worktops. It needs to be right at the very edge of my worktop to open the lid and when closed to allow for steam to escape. The electrical power cord is also not that long so I am limited to where I can place it in my kitchen. The hot element in the lid makes me very cautious when opening, and take your time closing the lid as that is also very heavy, they put the sticker on the lid for a good reason to tell you where to lift ... MoreFirst I have a small kitchen, I thought that I would be saving room since it did multiple applications in one machine. On reflection I should have purchased a separate air fryer and slow cooker but it's too late to send back as I have used it. It cost quite a bit for me so I will have to use it I can't afford it to collect dust.
New to the Ninja Foodi Range but wanted one for a while. At the time of buying this it was £50 cheaper than anywhere else and only £20 more than the older 9-in 1 max model which has two lids, and owners of this and older models said it was the only downside of having to change lids of you want to pressure cook then air fry and storing it somewhere when not in use. With this smart lid model you don't need to worry about changing lids. Cooked a 2kg chicken by pressure cooking for 20 mins then air frying for 15 mins. It came out really succulent with a crispy and golden skin. Also roast potatoes from raw cooked the same way as the chicken but 5 mins longer on air fry came out golden crispy on outside and soft in the middle. Slow cooked a beef stew which was really nice ... MoreNew to the Ninja Foodi Range but wanted one for a while. I contemplated on whether this was going to be an impulsive purchase, so I initially left it. After some research I realised I was missing a trick. We opted for this more compact but more expensive one, as the larger model (which as the same capacity funnily enough), was to tall for our countertop. My wife was ready to return it, even after reading raving reviews and joining a Facebook page of users. Well I'm glad I convinced her to keep it, as it has made life in the kitchen sooooo easy. Not only is it simple to use, it's quick, easy to clean, healthier cooking, and most importantly ... less washing up! The recipe suggestions provide inspiration, but also gets you experimenting. We have started to cook cuisine that we would have only eaten when going out. The design is aesthetically pleasing but also practical from a cleaning and usage point of you. The quality of the goods itself seems to be satisfactory. Purchasing the £15 damage cover from John Lewis gives complete peace of mind. The only suggestion I would have is for it to come with a stainless steel vessel, like their competitors make. I only wish I bought it a month later .... it would have covered me for Valentines Day! A box of chocolates will still go down well.
I have been using the Ninja Foodi OL650UK for few weeks now and it is excellent! I have tried the air fry, the chips come out crisp outside and fluffy inside and it takes only half the time required as per cooking instructions for oven cook. Tried many oven bake item in the Foodi and they come out perfect for again half the time. Baking bread is also easy and quick, yet to try a cake! You can pressure cook a whole chicken and then crisp it with air fryer for example The unit is bit large on the worktop, but it is very easy to use and quick. There are other functions I still haven't tried yet Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, saves me lot of time and gas!
I was very excited when I saw all these functions in one machine. But extremely let down. The machine is huge and heavy! The element is exposed and on the inside of the lid, meaning liquids/oils/etc can bubble on to the element and it’s extremely difficult to clean. I mainly bought it for the slow cooker function which I’m very disappointed with. It doesn’t cook as well as my last ($70) appliance did. I’ve used all functions and not satisfied with the results on any of them unfortunately.
I purchased this appliance as I needed a pressure cooker, and have a small kitchen and limited storage. Despite being quite big, I love it because it has freed up a ton of storage space as I have been able to replace my air fryer, steamer, popcorn maker, and bread maker (though it isn’t really a bread maker, I just rarely used mine and the proofing function is enough for me) with this one gadget. I did decide to keep my rice cooker as a seperate appliance, as it’s tricky to cook a curry and rice to be ready together without two appliances - though perhaps I will find there is a way to do the rice at the same time in it as well. I’ve been impressed with the functions I have tried so far, and it’s easy/quick to clean!
Versatile multi-cooker replaces both my pressure cooker and air-fryer, one less appliance on my kitchen benchtop. Buttons are easy to dial/press, fell nice. Love the digital reading which is bright and easy to read. Condensation collector is very easy to empty and insert back. It's quite bulky and heavy, you need 58cm height clearance for the smart lid to be fully opened. Pot and crisp basket are easy to clean. Steam-crisp cooks really well. I'm yet to explore pressure cooking - cleaning smartlid is questionable but hey it's 7.5L just don't overfill it.
