I was lucky Enough to receive a Ninja Detect Power Blender and Processor Pro last week to review. Came in a large box, packed well and no problems unpacking, everything present and packed in a logical manner. Read through the instructions, found the colour recipe booklet to be quite thin and lacking in recipes compared to the other booklets I’ve had with Ninja Products, but this may be because this is a preparation tool as opposed to a cooking tool.A lot of stuff in the box, nice touch to have 3 blender cups to share the love. This is what I started with, making a blended iced coffee drink. Filled with liquid, flavourings then Ice as in the guide book, put the personal blender attachment on and flipped onto the main power unit. The cup and blender attachment both felt nicely sturdy as I was worried about blending Ice Cubes in it. Fitted to the base unit and just pressed start. The base Unit is a simple wheel with 3 choices above it, and the main promise is that you can just push start and it will detect the consistency of the items and automatically adjust accordingly. I’ve had other blenders that have got stuck on a chunk of ice at this stage and was concerned about trusting the sensor, but no problems there. Completely blitzed the ice and a minute later had an excellent Blended Iced coffee that would have cost over a fiver at a Coffee Shop. Made a mango smoothie next with a bag of frozen mango. Pressed start, let it do its thing and it was perfect. Cleaned up very well, and onto the next task.I like fresh bread but cant be bothered with the mixing and needing, so popped the food processor bowl on and popped the dough blade in. It was very easy to attach and when in with a confident click. Used the recipe for bread in the Ninja 15 in 1 booklet as I was going to use this to prove and bake it. Again, the instructions were to put the liquid in first, then the dry. All went in, lid on, that took a couple of try’s due to the sealing ring, but this will be fine with practise and again pressed start. Mixed the ingredients very quickly to a dough, but that was where a problem occurred. Although the suction cups on the base unit were secure, the whole unit started rocking and moving due to the dough being formed, to the point that if I hadn’t have been there to keep a hand on it, it would have rocked off the surface. A large note in the booklet about this would be a good idea. Did the job though, a nicely kneaded blob of dough came out, and wen on to become a very nice loaf. To clean I put a small squirt of washing up liquid in the bowl, a cup of warm water and pressed start. It ran through a cycle and most of the dough remnants were washed off. Finished in the sink, and although there are a few nooks and cranny’s the dough was stuck in, there was no where near the number that I have seen in other processors, so washing was very easy. I don’t have a dishwasher, but handwashing did the job well.Onto the grating disc. I fancied making some coleslaw, so prepared some carrots, cabbage, onion and apple. It fitted in easy enough, on with the lid again and started feeding the food in. The hopper is small. I had to half the normal size carrot lengthways to fit it in the hopper. One in, made easy work of grating it up. Had to cut the other ingredients smaller that I would have though as well. Again, grated through them very quickly. Grated a piece of cheese, and it went through fine apart from the last bit that collided a bit with the plunger. Flipped the disc over to slice a cucumber and again, has to half the cucumber before feeding it in, but sliced well.Wanted to chop some onion, celery and carrots for the base of a bolognaise, so popped the chopping blade in (sharp, so be careful), popped the veg in and chose mince to get a fine chop. Did the job perfectly.Onto the large blender. Had cooked a leek and potato soup. Popped half of it in, and again it was like it know what I wanted and blended accordingly. Popped the rest in and pulsed a couple of times to keep it chunky. Perfect consistency. There is a lot of equipment here, but all is necessary and usable. Have moved on my old blender, personal blender and processor as they are no longer needed. Very happy with this system, and would recommend to anyone.

I have been using this machine for a few weeks now and I love it! It is so easy to use and gives lovely results. I couldn't get chicken mince so minced thighs in the processor bowl which worked perfectly. Then I carried on with the recipe in the jug and it was so easy with brilliant results, my husband absolutely loved them and has requested them again and again 🙂Tried the dough setting also and made cheese scones which also turned out perfect cooked in my Ninja air fryer. The processor bowl is a bit smaller than my previous model and is a little more basic but having said that it is adequate for what I need to use it for and the blender more than makes up for any capacity it lacks. The BlendSense setting is incredible and takes the guess work out of perfect smoothies. All in all I am extremely pleased with this machine and am enjoying my new found love of smoothies.. Think I need to try the Pineapple Mango Margarita next. 😋

I received this about a week ago as a tester. I wasn't sure what it would be like at first as other blenders I've had haven't been the best and I've never had a proper food processor before. However I can honestly say I'm blown away we've tried a bunch of different things with it such as an alcohol slushie, fruit smoothies, milkshakes and then using the food processor I've shredded some carrots and cheese to make a cheese savoury spread and I used the dough blades to crush some biscuits to make a cheesecake base. When the colder weather comes I'm looking forward to making soup with it. The product is incredibly easy to use with a manual setting and with its automatic blendsense setting which is my favourite as it reads what is in the blender or processor and sets the speed, the time and the force used if it has ice. And when it's all done the product is incredibly easy to clean as every component other than the "Base" is dishwasher and hand-wash safe with the blades being easy to remove and clean safely. The product arrived well packaged and was divided into the different components. If I had any complaint it would be that when using the "cup blender" and inserting it into base it can be a little awkward lining up the locking part however other than that I really can't fault it.

I was lucky enough to receive the Ninja Detect Power Blender and processor to test. The equipment was well packaged and each piece was individually wrapped. The whole family have enjoyed taking part. I was chosen to test this and sent it free of charge. I have never used or owned a food processor in my life so was a little daunted, but thought I'd give it a go. The 3 single serve cups are excellent and crush through ice and frozen fruit easily, She loves it. I've used the single serve cups for yorkshire pudding batter too.I often make doner kebabs and this mixes the lamb mince and spices to a perfectly smooth consistency, ready to pressure cook and then airfry. Delicious. My only criticism would be that I wish the feeder tube was bigger so that I could get larger size slices/shredding when making coleslaw. All in all, I am very grateful I was sent this and still have so much more to try - Cake batter and bread dough will be next, once I've lost my holiday weight!
I was sent this blender to test by Ninja. It arrived in a large box and my initial thought was where am I going to store all these parts? It comes with a large jug, blending bowl and 3 single serve cups, all with lids, numerous blades and a grating/slicing disc. I quickly realised the machine will replace my old food processor, hand blender and blender/smoothie maker. Once these items were relegated to a box in the loft, this machine actually took up less space, great. We have had the blender for almost two weeks now and it has been used numerous times a day. I quickly realised the machine will replace my old food processor, hand blender and blender/smoothie maker. Once these items were relegated to a box in the loft, this machine actually took up less space, great. We have had the blender for almost two weeks now and it has been used numerous times a day. Wanting to make sure I test it throughly, I’ve filled the freezer with lots of goodies. So far I’ve made: smoothies, smoothie bowls, scones, Thai pork patties, coleslaw, guacamole, lemonade, chopped nuts for granola, sliced cucumbers, Yorkshire pudding batter, carrot cake, Korean koftas, focaccia, grated cheese, bliss balls, pizza dough, strawberry and watermelon slushies, caraway cake, raspberry & coconut muffins, blackberry ice cream base & raita. Today it will be used for mint sauce and cobbler topping for a blackberry and apple cobbler. In the future I’m looking forward to trying nut butters, mayo, pakoras, pitta breads , falafels and quiche.Everything so far has been successful. The raita had an add liquid error, I probably used the wrong vessel and mode, so I’ll experiment. The smoothie bowl wasn’t completely blended on the top edge, but actually proved a lovely contrast to the perfectly smooth smoothie below. Be warned the book servings are huge, I would say the portion for 2 would easily serve 4.The unit is extremely powerful, perfectly blending nuts and dates to make bliss balls. All my previous blenders have struggled with this and got hot in the process, on blensense this machine goes oh ok nuts and dates, no problem, give me a few seconds! Making slushies out of pure frozen fruit is a breeze and amazing for super hot days.Blendsense works out the correct mode for everything, dough, max crush, thick mode etc. Smoothies are the smoothest I’ve had, even though I tend to add lots of seeds.Being able to pour through the spout on the jug is a big plus too, making ice cream, simply add ingredients, Blensense, then pour through the spout into the churner. We make lots of breads and the dough attachment works great, I’ve found dough only needs an extra minute of kneading, so a real time and effort savour. Focaccia was light and pizza dough perfectly chewy crust and light base. The unit does jump around a bit making dough, but seems to stay put on the worksurface due to the suckers on the bottom. I think my bread maker should be worried about being relegated to the loft too!Cakes and muffins are simple, just use the jug and switch blades as needed. For instance, to make a carrot cake, use the grating disc for the carrot, then the normal blade for the walnuts, then switch to dough blade for the cake mix, easy. Pour in a tin, cook, cool, then blend topping, simple. It is very easy to clean, all parts are dishwasher top shelf safe, the jug doesn’t quite fit in ours, so a little squirt of washing up liquid and some warm water blended for 30 seconds does the job. Any leftover bits are easy to wipe away. All in all I think this machine will take pride of place in the kitchen and will be used daily, although maybe I’ll cut back on baking so much!
We received the blender a few weeks ago and to say we’re impressed is an understatement. The packing the product arrived in was perfect, especially for living in the Channel Islands (overseas shipment), as everything was individually wrapped to ensure safe receipt. We first used the blender to make a dairy free banana milkshake. We put the blend detect to the test by including ice cubes and it turned out a perfect consistency. It has the capacity to create dishes that fills our family of 3, sometimes 5, which has made food prep that much easier. There are several attachments that have come with the blender and it shows its versatility. In the packaging there’s a recipe book which gives ideas to ensure you get the full use out of the blender.
Do not buy this system. I bought to puree food for my baby and loved the idea of saving space by having one base for multiple uses. I used both single serve cup and pitcher frequently. Both started having a horrible moaning sound. I used the single serve cup almost exclusively for my baby for several months starting at 4 months. In trying to trouble shoot I ran it with just water and was mortified to find the water turned black. I looked closer to find little plastic shreds throughout the water and plastic clumps at the base of the blade. The smell was a nauseating burned plastic and oil smell. I did my research looking at various blender options and thought I was doing what was best for my baby by making the baby food at home. I am sick to my stomach knowing I was ... I am sick to my stomach knowing I was feeding my baby bits of plastic and who knows what else. Please don't buy this. I pray my baby doesn't have long turn health consequences because of Ninja's faulty product. I bought a Ninja because I thought I was buying a quality product. I will never purchase a Ninja product again.

It has a Portion Detect that recognizes the size of the container and adjusts the blending time accordingly. It has an Ice Detect that senses when ice is added and increases the power to crush it. It has a Torque Detect that monitors the resistance of the ingredients and prevents stalling or overheating. It also has 11 manual programs and 4 automatic programs that let you customize your blending experience. The Ninja Detect Kitchen System Power Blender + Processor Pro is a versatile and powerful blender that can perform various functions such as blending, chopping, slicing, shredding, and dough making. It has a BlendSense Technology that automatically detects the ingredients and adjusts the speed and time accordingly. It also has some smart features that recognize the size of the container, the presence of ice, and the resistance of the ingredients. The only negative I found is that it does tend to be a bit loud, but that's probably expected given the power of the motor.Overall, I am very happy with this blender and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful and versatile kitchen system. It is worth every penny and it makes food prep fun and easy - not to mention awesome margaritas! It is easily the best blender I have ever owned.
This is my first small kitchen appliance from Ninja, and I like that it’s an all-in-one device that can do the job of three “single function” appliances. It comes with a full-size 72oz blender pitcher, a food processing bowl with chopping blades, dough blades, and slicer/shredder disc, and a single-serve 24oz blender cup. All these vessels can be quickly installed via twist-to-lock into the same 1800 Watt motor base saving me space on the countertop and in my cabinets when storing. The base has a bright and colorful display in the push-to-start control dial for choosing settings for different modes. Suction cups on its bottom keep the base firmly adhered to my work surface, even during high-speed blending, though make it a little tricky to move around often as I ... All these vessels can be quickly installed via twist-to-lock into the same 1800 Watt motor base saving me space on the countertop and in my cabinets when storing. The base has a bright and colorful display in the push-to-start control dial for choosing settings for different modes. Suction cups on its bottom keep the base firmly adhered to my work surface, even during high-speed blending, though make it a little tricky to move around often as I have unstick it first. The personal blender cup is perfect for making smoothies and pulverizing small quantities fruit and vegetables for salsa, chutneys, and dips. Just remember to add your liquids like milk and yogurt to the cup first then stack up your other ingredients in order of firmness: veggies, fruit, powders, nuts/seeds, then finally frozen ingredients and sweeteners on top, as these will end up closest to the blades when you flip the cup over for a more thorough and consistent blend. For the cup, you can use the BlendSense mode or Manual mode with Low, Medium, or High speed selections. I mostly used BlendSense which is a one-touch automated program that detects the texture and consistency of your ingredients in the first few seconds to determine speed, pattern, and timing for a smooth, creamy result. Blend times can vary from 30 seconds up to nearly 2 minutes with a countdown appearing on the display. At the end of the program, the machine simply stops; there is no audible beeping or additional notification. While this mode works pretty great, if you don’t fill the cup to the max line, some ingredients may splash to the top and not settle back down to get mixed in, so afterwards you may have to shake the cup and blend briefly a second time.Included is a pour top that also lets you use the 24oz cup as a sports bottle since it is leak-proof. When pouring or drinking from it, the lid folds flat and snaps in out of the way. The blades for this cup are integrated into its twist-off base, and while I liked that the threads are on the interior of the cup’s rim, rather than the exterior, they tend to trap small seeds and fibers and require a brush for cleaning. There are a few things you shouldn’t blend in the cup like hot foods or liquids and very hard ingredients without liquid e.g. uncooked rice and grains. You’ll also want to remove the blades and empty the cup or install the pour cap immediately after blending to prevent the buildup of pressure (or vacuum) which could damage the cup.For hot foods, you’ll want to use the large pitcher as it isn’t 100% sealed and can let out excess pressure and steam. The lid clicks and locks into place, so there’s no chance of it “popping off” during blending. However, it is not leak-proof from the pour spout, so care must be taken to not tip or tilt it with liquid inside. I found this vessel suitable for making silky smooth purees for soups, crushing ice for large batch frozen drinks, and even making nut milks and butters. The tall, six-blade spindle is removable, however, it must be installed before you put any food in the pitcher in order to seat correctly. Also, remember to remove the blades before pouring its contents out with the lid off or the blades will drop out!The sharp stacked blades are spaced somewhat close together though and scraping off sticky foods, purees, and batter can be a bit laborious. The lid for the pitcher has a pop-up handle that only folds flat when attached to the pitcher. This helps remind you to always store the lid on the pitcher so that the sharp blades and secured within. In additional to BlendSense, there is manual control available with 10 speeds. You can adjust the speed at any time during blending by turning the control dial, and its recommended to start at low-speed then ramp up as needed. In manual mode, the machine will shut off automatically after 60 seconds of cumulative run-time regardless of speed changes in order to avoid overheating the motor. There are also pre-sets for large/small chop, mince, and a pulse button for manually blending in short bursts. The food processor bowl of this machine is a welcome addition, as it eliminates the need for the standalone unit that I have. It has a 64oz capacity and can chop, mince, slice, and shred cheese or vegetables and even meat, as well as make up to 2 lbs of dough for bread, pastries, cookies, and even pasta with the dough blades. It makes short work of all these activities saving me a bunch of time and effort. The feed chute is a little narrow though, measuring just 2.75” L x 1.75” W.An additional mode for “disc” appears on the menu when using this attachment. However, I did have one issue when shredding a semi-soft block of cheese; as it reached the bottom of the feed chute some cheese balled up on top of the disc and tilted the blade high enough so that the blade struck the bottom of the plastic pusher resulting in several gouges in concentric arcs carved into the textured grip on the bottom of the pusher. I definitely ended up with a couple tiny plastic shards in my food, so that is one drawback of having a “loose” spindle in the vessel, since the disc blade may not always stay completely level and flat.I did try out the pizza roll recipe in the instruction manual, though I found that the dough was not ideal for a stuffed pastry as it was much too bready. The accompanying photo, while lovely, also did not match the actual description of how to fold and shape the pizza rolls and felt slightly misleading.Overall, the Ninja Detect Kitchen System is a versatile multi-purpose small kitchen appliance that combines a full-size and personal blender with a food processor to chop, shred, blend, puree, and pulverize. It’s space-saving and powerful and delivers smooth results with speed and consistency. Cleanup is quite simple and often I just add a bit of water and dish soap to the vessels and blend for 30 seconds to pre-wash. Just be wary that the disc blade has the potential to tilt and strike the pusher if too much food builds up on top of it, and be extra careful when cleaning or scraping food from the blade attachments as they are very sharp. All parts except the motor base are top-rack dishwasher safe as long as heated dry is not used.
