We got the bowser castle for Christmas and loved it so wanted the Mario castle for a birthday gift in January. Was so disappointed. It’s 50% smaller, £10 more expensive, the doors are tricky to open too. Just not worth the £35.99 prove we paid. £20 would even be pushing it. Such a shame as he loves his bowlers castle and figurines but this is just too expensive for what you get.

I purchased this playset for my Grandson for Christmas, he's 5 and loves Super Mario, Christmas day he opened his gift and within a few hours, Luigi's arm broke off, then all the flags on the castle broke off, a few days later Mario lost his arm, it's too fragile for a child to play with, would be better suited as a collectible, very disappointing. I took it back for a refund, now I have to replace it with something else Super Mario related. I should have checked reviews before I purchased it, but I assumed that a childs toy would be sturdy....

Extremely disappointed with the Peaches Castle. After preordering it start of May and waiting 4 months, my Mario crazy son was excited to get this. But 5 mins after playing he got bored. The figures are great and the Flag is brill. But the castle, 'what your paying for' is tiny, compared to the Bowser castle. Figures can't fit in the door, and if they could, there's no entrance to the back. It's literally a front face? No rear design just plain white plastic, unlike the Bowser that you can play front and back.Even the design is cheap, not thick plastic. For the same price of £39 this is at most worth £20.Don't bother, buy a dolls play house and paint it yourself!

Yes this a play & display, yes this may not be the biggest castle playset & yes the castle itself as little to no interactions but to any Mario obsessed child this is a must. This castle has been played with by our almost 4 year old every single day since Christmas. His imagination is endless when it comes to this little castle. He used this together with Bowsers castle & we will be purchasing more playsets for his birthday. I’m incredibly happy with this purchase. The only downside is that princess peach is a little flimsy. She’s already lost her hair & crown but nothing a bit of super glue can’t fix. However it may be our own fault, that naughty bowser doesn’t give her a break!
It’s a small plastic castle roughly a foot tall. It comes with a poster that sticks on the wall with command strips supplied. Then brackets are added using the strips which hold the castle on the wall. U can also stick the flag and boxes up using the command strips. The castle is very plain and only has one door that does not fit all the figures in however when hung on the wall the characters stand nicely on the platforms. The characters are well made. My kids love this item because it’s on the wall and they can display the characters on it , it is however very pricey for what it is but being Mario fans I would buy it again.

My kid loves this. However, i only gave it 4 stars because it is VERY small, in comparison to bowsers castle. The figurines cant go through the door, so from a childs perspective, that kinda sucks. Also, you cant go all the way through the castle like you can with bowsers. For the price, im glad i got it when it was on sale- theres no way id pay full.
I bought this for my son for Christmas and first it arrived in an Amazon box which was weird but then it shorted me the characters that were promised. The castle only came with Bowser. Currently trying to figure out how to contact Walmart about getting the characters. I’m so disappointed what a way to ruin a gift.
I like how it looks, and the characters and little pieces it comes with are fun. What I don't like is that it's not a 2 sided playset and the only part that opens up is also just a tiny compartment in the front that's inaccessible from the back. I would have liked it it was even just an open ended facade that kids could pretend to let the characters in and out of. The way it's made, it doesn't get played with because it's basically an unusable lump in the shape of a castle. It would work as a diorama for an adult that doesn't play with the toys, but it's literally labeled as a "playset".
My son turned 4 and loves Mario so was so excited to get this. Unfortunately the figure are very cheap and after the first time playing, not even rough luigi lost and arm. The next day Mario also lost an arm and now poor princess peach has lost both arms. Bowser is still intac so far. Because they are movable parts I don't think I can glue them. Very disappointed in this product.
