It's the first Nitecore I have purchased that doesn't excite. It does the job, period. For me, its an odd size. Don't get me wrong, it gives me the illumination I need and the duration. But it's not the first light I will turn to. Maybe I will grow to enjoy this light but for now, it's been relegated to the reserve if reserve lights. Sad though as I had read so much about it. But a light really is a personal extension and some lights just don't make the cut.

This is my fourth Nitecore product and probably the most impressive yet. Nitecore lights are always good but this one is particularly good. It is incredibly bright, has a nice beam profile that is good for every day carry situations, a very long throw, and amazing battery life. Plus, the output and battery life indicators are so nice. No more cycling through all the brightness settings to figure out which one you're using. And I thought that I wasn't going to like ultra-low mode being accessed in a special way, but I have actually found that to be a very nice feature. The only thing I will say is that I recommend getting one of the old NTH10 holsters for it. I like being able to quickly access it and put it away.

This is my second NITECORE flashlight. My first one was a MH12GT which I had for many years and it served me well! That's why I decided to purchase another flashlight from NITECORE. So far, I am very pleased with my new flashlight. It has the same feel and rugged construction as my other one. And it is so powerful for the size! Great product! I love it!

I have tried a good many lights, many cheaper, some more expensive. Cheap ones often don't last long and they have that annoying 3 to 5 clicks that you have to go through to get to off. I normally dislike side switch lights, as some can be very time consuming to find the switch in the dark. This light gives me the tail switch for on/off and momentary on, the side switch just changes brightness, and it is easier to find than on many brands, as it has the lights on either side of it. On full brightness(4) it steps down to level 3 very quickly.
First, it is amazingly bright and has a really long beam throw. The unique handle design not only looks good, but makes the light easy to hang on to. The battery and mode indicators are a nice touch. It certainly isn't a compact light, but it is small enough to fit into your pocket. One word of caution, it does get very hot in the high or turbo modes, but most of the time, the medium is more light than you need. Overall, an amazing light!
- The highest brightness level is basically unusable as the light gets too hot to use, typically in 30-60 seconds.- This is not the light for you if you are looking to use the full 3300 lumens for more than 30 seconds at a time.- Designed well, good feel and quality.- I like the side switch and the battery and brightness level indicators, very useful.- I am not a fan of tail switches and it appears this can't be done from the side switch. You must use the tail switch to turn the light on and off.
I, like many others, have been eagerly awaiting this light!I'm glad I did! Great UI, various modes, and the throw and dispersion is top notch for such a compact light that can serve as an EDC.I haven't done a lot of in depth analysis yet, and I'm sure many others will, but a few hours using this to help me in a dark basement running some cables demonstrated how compact and useful this was. I ran it for HOURS and it still had 50% battery left. The indicators on the body of the flashlight were incredibly useful for a quick glance as well of its status.Endcap button seems well made and durable for plenty of use/abuse.Excited to put it through its paces.
I've spent countless hours on YouTube watching flashlight reviews, and made many purchases. The MH12 Pro by Nitecore is my favorite. I recently took a couple of them for a night walk with my 17 year old son. We used them on the highest settings shining deer that were all around us in the woods for well over an hour. We had backup batteries but never needed them. The turbo boost works very well, and after heat regulated step down it only takes seconds for it to be activated again. The flashlights never got too hot for either one of us. The 1200 lumen high is very good also. I feel like all the brightness levels are very well thought out, and I love the fact that it has a one lumen low. Run times are nice and long and the battery is one of the best. The continuous led readouts are a welcomed feature for obvious reasons. Tail stand capability is a another huge plus. This is currently my edc and I have a feeling that it will stay that way for a while.
