The Nitecore MH25 Pro is another LED torch with the NiteLab UHi-LED. The UHi-LED is a proprietary development of the manufacturer NiteLap, which, like Nitecore, belongs to the Sysmax Group. The UHi-LEDs have decisive advantages over other LED manufacturers such as CREE, Luminus or Osram: More light output, significantly higher spot intensity, significantly greater light range, longer burn time. The performance data of the MH25 Pro are impressive and unrivalled in relation to the size of the lamp: 3300 lumen light intensity, 705 metre light range, USB-C charging, 5300mAh battery. The Nitecore MH25 Pro is switched on using the rear switch and the light levels are changed using the mode switch on the lamp head. On the right-hand side of the mode switch, 4 green LEDs indicate the charge status of the battery, while 4 blue LEDs on the left-hand side of the mode switch indicate the light level switched on. Two modes are available to the user, Daily Mode and Tactical Mode. The modes differ in the number and arrangement of the light levels and special modes. A built-in optical sensor immediately reduces the light intensity of the MH25 Pro to prevent damage to the lamp or an object (e.g. rucksack). An improved structure of the surface of the battery tube ensures a secure grip with wet hands or when wearing gloves.
