Nitecore Tube Lemon Key Ring USB Rechargerable
The Nitecore TUBE has been updated to the TUBE V2.0, now with a maximum output of 55 lumens and a built in rechargeable battery providing up to 58 hours run-time on low output. The battery is charged using a micro USB cable (cable not included) that plugs into the micro USB charging port which is located underneath the dust cover on the left side of the light. Simply plug a able into the torch and connect to power, then the charging indicator will illuminate blue to show charging is in progress and will turn off once charging is complete after approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. On high mode the TUBE V2.0 can project a 25 metre beam range and the 100° wide angle lighting provides excellent peripheral illumination. The single multi-stage switch accesses the 2 brightness levels, momentary on and the infinitely variable output mode. One press will access low, two quick presses will access high, or with the light off you can hold the button down to access momentary high mode which will turn off once the button is released. To use the variable brightness output, first turn the torch on in low mode and then hold the button down in quick succession. The light will go between 1 and 55 lumens and you can release the button when the light reaches your desired output. The tube also has a handy lockout mode so that you can prevent it being accidentally turned on. When the torch is on in any mode for more than 3 seconds, hold the button down until the light blinks once and then the torch will then be in lockout mode. To exit lockout mode simply hold the button down until the light comes back on. If the torch is plugged in to charge when in lockout mode, it will automatically be unlocked. The TUBE is an extremely lightweight and compact torch, which is perfect for attaching to a set of keys and with 9 colours to choose from the whole family can have one without any confusion as to who owns which.

It works as expected and so this is the reason I bought this one- my second. The case of the one I bought my brother broke after a fairly short period of time which I figured after a lot of abuse doled out to mine must have been a fluke because I am really rough on stuff and he isn't. My case had cracks but it held together fine and it was a battery that wouldn't keep a charge that finally prompted me to replace it. Only complaint is that occasionally it would come on in my pocket when pressed by keys or something else on my keyring. It has happened on this new one a couple times so intend to glue a rubber washer or o-ring over the button as a surround to keep the button from being pressed so easily. Yes I modify almost everything I own.

Thanks to B&H for sending a Nitecore Tube V2.0 as a bonus gift with my recent purchase for a Maglite flashlight. Thanks because that probably ended my search for a basic no-frills flashlight in these days of hi-tech light furnaces that spew hair raising LED beams and throw gobs of heat, lots of them even provided by Nitecore.I was trying to find another flashlight equal to my Led Lenser purchased several years ago. It is the only flashlight I have ever owned that still has a working on/off button after several years of use. Obviously other considerations are now more important and they broke the mold on one of the most durable flashlights ever made. I've been looking but can't find another one, but this TUBE V2.0 will light up a dark path and won't blind anyone. Hold the button and it goes into 55 lumens high beam. Push it again to turn it off. It can do other things too, like preventing it to operate to conserve battery. It's the only rechargeable key chain light I have ever seen, and that in itself is simply great. When the button wears out, buying another is an inexpensive investment, and it might even prevent an injury when traversing an area that's too dark to see any hazards.

This little fella was a freebie with my Bino Purchase. You might ask, why would I need a key chain flashlight when I have a cell phone for lighting things up? Well, the Nitecore TUBE LED has a turbo boost illumination button that turns it into a serious flashlight. The amount of light that you get is amazingly intense for its minute size. We are talking KEYCHAIN Flashlight. In fact, it is so small that I have already misplaced it. Its certainly worth the $10 asking price. To avoid lingering remorse, buy it and put it on your keychain the minute it comes out of the package.

This is my favorite everyday carry. In fact I have it with me 24/7 because I wear one from the chain on my neck so that I can easily navigate my way to the bathroom at night, for possible emergencies, etc. It is flat and compact so I don't even feel it when sleeping and it doesn't show beneath my shirt by day. I always have it with me! Despite its tiny size it will run at a bright enough level to walk outside, to read a book, to walk around the house etc. for 55 hours on a single charge. At the highest level it will run for over an hour and it is very bright at that level, enough to work on a broken item at night, to change a car tire at night, to work on a fuse box. It's very inexpensive and is easily and quickly recharged with a USB micro power adapter, the same ... MoreThis is my favorite everyday carry. It's very inexpensive and is easily and quickly recharged with a USB micro power adapter, the same one I use to charge my phone. I have another on my keychain and others throughout the house and in my car. I give it only 4 stars, however, because of the dozen I have had, I had one that was defective right out of the box. It wouldn't light and when I disassembled it to see why, I found that one of the tiny wires had never been soldered to the circuit board. When I touched the loose wire to the right spot, it lit right up. One of these days I'll try to solder it on myself. Also, another one had its plastic housing break as it was hanging on my necklace and I was asleep in bed. I cannot imagine why it would break then because it was under little or no stress. I have carried one on my keychain for years without any visible damage or wear and nobody was attempting to strangle me with my necklace at the time! I have read in Amazon reviews that reliability is a bit weak. For my money, they would be wise to improve QC (quality control) a bit and raise the price a dollar or two. Fortunately, my Ebay dealer happily and quickly replaced it for free. Despite this issue, this is the best flashlight going for my money and if I could have only one flashlight (I have 20!) this would be it.
This flashlight is a must for anyone's pocket, bag, attaché, and keychain. The low setting is perfect for reading in low light without disturbing anyone around. The higher on e can find things lost, light up a task, etc. There is also a custom setting for any brightness in between. It feels well made and you are getting a really useful tool for a small outlay.Don't overthink this! It has worked splendidly for quite some time.We have used this as a reading light, walking at night, and just the security of knowing we have some light in our pocket that's easily rechargeable.Perfect! Buy two. Hey, but one for every member of your family.I have. The photos attached are from the low and high brightness settings. This light is bright, has a lo/hi switch, is rechargeable, has the recharging cord and split rings in the package, and I love it.I think this is the third of these that I've gotten as a premium when buying something at B&H. My wife and I both carry them all the time. The high beam is quite adequate for its size, and the low for finding keyholes and such. It doesn't weigh a thing, and has split rings included. The small ring will fit a Tac Accessories pelican clip well.Only complaint is that riding in your pocket, the on/off button can be triggered. If you catch it soon enough, you'll still have battery to spare. If not, you can recharge it with a USB-b mini plug (included) no problem.
This little item came with a purchase of another item. At first I thought it was going to be just a gimmicky trinket. Was I surprised! One push of the power button and a very dim light came on. Yeah, I thought to myself, it's just a gimmick. But when I double pressed the power button a really bright light came on. Pretty cool little flashlight!
Flashlight is awesome ! In bright mode 55 lumens. It is more than enough. Got it as a freeo with the purcase of a Aluratek ABCD54F Bluetooth transmitter & receiver. Still 9.99 a good buy. Good security deterrent. Tried to upload photo website won’t allow me. Glitch.
GOOD FEATURES:- USB rechargeable (cable not included)- travel lock so you don't accidentally turn the light on- two easy-to-access light intensities (low and high)- light intensity can also be adjusted to varying degrees between low/highCONS:- none yet
this is absolutely one of the best little torches you can have, especially for travel. I got this one free with some binoculars I bought and didn’t think it could be so great, but as I do a lot of outdoors adventure and camping, I was very pleased to learn its 52 hours battery for the low setting!I have a few options for tent lighting, but all are too bright as reading lamps and waste energy when positioned to be dull, while also being brighter than necessary for most tent use. This little thing is just perfect for reading in its lower setting, and for everything else that does not need bright light, while when you DO need brighter light it’s just a click away. this thing now lives on a little carabiner on a belt loop as an every-day carry, always ready if I need ... Morethis is absolutely one of the best little torches you can have, especially for travel.
