A truly refreshing facial wash

My NIVEA Refreshing Facial Wash Gel came in simple but elegant packaging, it's translucent so you can see the gel inside which is always great in order to know how much you have left. When I opened it the fragrance was light and pleasing. It has a very pleasant consistency and goes on very smoothly. Once I rinsed it off I could definitely feel that it had a refreshing effect - my skin felt light and moisturized, not at all tight and dry which is the effect of some other facial washes I've tried. I found I needed to use less moisturizer in the rest of my usual skincare regime, and over the week I've been using the facial wash I've been pleased at the way it's soothed some irritated spots and kept my skin looking great.

Cleansing but not drying!

I really enjoyed testing this product - I prefer facial washes in a gel format and this didn't disappoint. It has a very mild and pleasant smell. My skin type is mostly normal with occasional sensitive patches and I found this face wash managed the perfect mix of feeling deeply cleansing but not leaving my skin feeling 'stripped' or dry. I had a very mild tingling sensation on the skin around my nose and beneath my eyes but I do sometimes suffer from sensitive skin in those areas. The bottle lasts a long time as you only need to use a small amount as it foams up and spreads really nicely. I will continue to use this product and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking to for new face wash.

Excellent cleanser

I have extremely sensitive skin and react to a lot of products. I have found through trial and error that products aimed at sensitive skin often make my skin worse. I find the fragrance in this really lovely. It's a grown-up scent and not over-powering. The cleanser itself is really gentle but very thorough and rinses easily leaving clean, happy skin. I use this morning and evening and would not be without it now. I have tried so many expensive high-end products, often with very disappointing results. I find the basic Nivea products really suit my skin and stick to those.

Fab results with gender neutral smell.

Nice and refreshing

I really enjoyed the texture of the gel. Some are too thick and this was just right. The gel foamed quickly enough and a little bit went a long way! After just the first use I noticed a difference in the feel of my skin. A small tingle and it felt hydrated to the touch. Seemed that the spotty patches I have seem less red also, might be down to being more hydrated. This lasted until the next wash.

Nice gel wash

It is great at removing makeup remnants that micellar fluid could not handle before.It does not irritate my face skin.

Nivea face wash

I have been using this face wash for several years now. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and fresh and cleans it well. I use it daily! I think it is the best of all face washes!

Refreshingly Good Value

Nivea is a reliable brand and this fits in to the range nicely. A little goes a long way and considering it's nearer the cheaper end, it's a good value product. It has a gentle pleasant smell and foams up enough to leave your face feeling clean and fresh. But it is quite runny! However, I would recommend trying a test patch before using it every day as on sensitive skin, it could dry it out and irritate it. If it does, just switch to using it every other day - and the bonus? Then it'll last twice as long!

Smells delicious but a little drying.

Firstly, this smells absolutely gorgeous! It makes me think of holidays on the beach, so must have a similar scent to their suncream because it immediately makes me happy! This is a gell textured face wash that gives you a really deep clean, however I think my skin is just a little to prone to dryness for this product. Although my face does look and feel squeaky clean after using this gently foaming gel, it does also feel a little tight and dry. However the feeling does go away as soon as I apply moisturiser so if you have normal skin I doubt you will experience any dryness.
