Nivea Men Deep Shaving Gel 200 ml

My husband is super fussy about the shaving gel he uses. This is not his usual brand but I love Nivea so decided to give it a go. First of all it comes at a great price as all Nivea products are so great value for money. He says it’s easy to use and felt soothing on skin, that it was easy to get a close shave and he liked the cleansing properties. He likes a comfortable shave and this delivers, it’s packaged in a classy black canister and while I think my husband will go back to his usual brand he really likes this alternative so I would recommend it.

I don’t always use the same shaving cream, but Nivea Men Deep seems to be one that I go back to quite often. Most shaving creams are all about the branding and they’re not all that different from each other. This one though, seems to actually spread much easier with a lesser amount of gel. It does come out as a cool black gel, but turns into a regular white foam like most shaving creams. What I also like about it, is that it’s black because it contains active charcoal, which really does help keep your skin clean and healthy every time you shave. Great product, can't be happier!

I was really excited about this product as im quite selective with products for shaving. However, upon first testing of this product i was pleasantly surprised. the smell was nice, fresh and not too strong or weak which i found good. it felt really nice on my skin and i liked the added charcoal. it did what it said and helped my razor glide easily over my skin and i had very little resistance or hair tugging. overall a really great product!

Great shaving product for a nice shave

I found that this shaving gel is really nice and makde my shaving experience a lot better. It’s got a nice scent and applies really easily to skin. I really felt like there was a lot plot protection when it came to shaving. I even found that I used a lot less gel than I normally would so this product actually goes further. My face felt clean and that allowed me to have a great shave. Size of the bottle was great and there is a lot of gel inside. Would reccomend this product.

My first charcoal shave

Wow ,what a fantastic shaving gel this is. Over the years I must have tried almost every product on the market looking for something that suits me , as I have sensitive skin I normally need to apply a soothing aftershave balm immediately after shaving - which is a pain but a necessary evil. Then I tried this product and I found straight away that my skin felt side and I didn’t need a balm after shaving . I would not hesitate to recommend Nivea Seep shaving gel to anyone , especially those with sensitive skin . I have to admit that at first the colour was strange - I’ve never used a charcoal product before but when I applied it and shaved , I was instantly converted . Fab shaving gel 10 out of 10 in my book !!

NIVEA MEN DEEP Clean Shaving Gel

It took me a good week to fully test this product as i have to shave every 2 days. So here is what i got to say about Nivea Men Deep Shaving Gel, its very soft and silky when you apply it onto your hands. After applying it onto my face its weightless and smooth. Perfect for dry skin! It cleanses deeply and helps my skin get a perfect clean shave. Dosent give me any harsh burning sensetions its just as light as water. During shaving you can almost feel how much of a precision you have got to manoover your blade around it since it does not clogg the blades. My previous gel done this and because of that my blade got clogged all the time wich made shaving quite frustrating. Its smoothand easy to shave with. Dear M&S, this yoghurt is delicious but please could you leave out the additional sugar and glucose syrup. I'd really love it, if it was a little less processed. Just the honey would be great thanks- even if it leaves it a bit tangy.

Nivea Shaving Gel: A Cut Above The Rest

Really great shaving gel, a small amount goes a long way meaning it lasts a long time. The stand out feature was the feel of it, the foam has a thick feel to it which is relaxing on the face and makes the skin feel very protected. My one criticism would be that I don not think this is the gel for you if you have a more sensitive skin type. It handles shorter stubble well but it is not any more easy to shave hair longer than half a centimetre.

The ultimate

I have just turned 60 so had the odd shave or two lol. Without a doubt this product is the ultimate shaving gel. In the past I would just use anything that was cheap and shaving daily was a pain in the b#@t and I hated it, then I stumbled onto this Nivea Deep, wow, just wow, what an amazing product. Nivea Deep where have you been all my life. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a solid 20, the Ultimate.

Works. But Messy.

As a shaving gel, it worked great. It enabled a smooth, gliding shave experience and the product design was easy to use and store. The only issue I had with it is how easy it is to stain towels and make the shower cubicle look black and dirty. This is, obviously, because of the charcoal. That knocks of a star. The other lost star is because I am not convinced that there is any benefit to the added charcoal vs a normal charcoal free formula. I didn't notice any difference on both my face or my body. Perhaps it is a cumulative affect and the detoxifying charcoal will prevent ingrown hairs in the future?
