The After Shave balm comes in a decent glass bottle. The packaging is simple yet the classic Nivea type. I have no issues with it whatsoever. Once you have applied a light coat of foundation, it feels like you are wearing your normal primer.The best part about this men after shave is that it works even better as a primer. My makeup stays intact all day. Quite literally! When I used to apply my usual Benefit/ Maybelline primer, after three hours or so, I’d notice my blush and highlighter getting mixed on the skin and no differentiation going on. Whereas, with this after shave balm as a primer, wherever I apply the blush, the blush stays exactly there and the highlighter stays in its own place. So in respect of the makeup staying put all day, this makeup primer does a wonderful job.Also, this men after shave balm doesn’t contain alcohol and is especially meant for sensitive skin, so yayy! It also keeps the oil on my face at bay and my makeup is matte and in-place all day.

I love this product! My son has sensitive skin and this really helps make a huge difference. He is able to use it, prevents skin irritation,doesn’t burn,%26 it smells delicious 😋 ladies get it for your special men. And men get it for your special ladies!

Best aftershave I have ever used

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This stuff smells so good and it feels very smooth on my skin. I used it on my stubble and it helped to soothe the itch and left me feeling moisturized. The texture is more of a lotion instead of the usual gel type aftershave. I think this product could be good to use as a daily moisturizer or face lotion because it helps with dryness. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an a new after shave.

Great but huge price increase.

I love this product and have been using it for years. Recently they have decided to put the price up by a ridiculous amount., I see that even some of the competitors have better value products now. I shall research other brtands! I guess this won't even get published as the editors will delete my review.

Lovely yet uncomfortable

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.Love that this has no drying alcohol in it. my face appreciates that. The smell is light yet cool and I would definitely buy again. the only downside is that it comes in an uncomfortable glass bottle with a weird top. I much prefer a pump and a plastic bottle. I know the feel is better with this but glass in the bathroom and my clumsy fingers I'm not thrilled with that.I would definitely buy again in a different container with a pump.

Low Cost, Satisfactory Ingredients

Nivea advertises that there's no alcohol in their Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm. While that may be technically true, the second name in the list of ingredients is Isopropyl Palmitate -- which is partly derived from alcohol and over time, can end up drying the skin. Other ingredients of concern include Phenoxyethanol, potentially harmful in high amounts -- and Sodium Chloride, which offers no benefits to the skin and salt obviously will dry the skin. It's also concerning that fragrance is used in a product designed for sensitive skin. But, I will say the balm leaves my skin feeling soft and seems to last. The directions on Nivea's bottle say to "apply liberally" -- which is actually terrible advice. Perfect for sensitive skin

He was always having his skin dry and itchy after shaving and this prevents that from happening. It's cooling on his skin and doesn't have alcohol in it that dries out his skin even more. It has a pleasant scent and isn't oily. It's perfect for his sensitive skin.
