Nivea Q10 Power Mature Night Cream 50 ml

I have been using Nivea since I don't know when. I love this moisturizer, although it has a gentle perfume in it, but I think its really gentle, so I don't mind it much. Somehow, this gentle perfume has taken over my life, it is really satisfying and goes very well along its formula. Now I just think that I am trapped, into buying this formula again and again, and I never want to run out of Nivea, specially in the winters. But, what I really want to ask the Nivea manufacturer is to make this product without perfume, keeping the same formula same consistency. By the way, I am not a fan of Nivea Soft, or other light blue colored lotions from Nivea. Lol Actually, Nivea Crème is the only moisturizer with a distinctive smell that is not found in any other brands around the world. And I think the Nivea perfume is really unique and basically its distinctive feel and unique perfume is almost like a trademark of this brand. I would like to see them make the same formula without perfume though. I don't know why they have not tried making a fragrance free version. I think its that as consumers we ae so used to smells and perfumes, and so many people crave good smelling products and they kind of make us feel good when our lotions and creams smell like strawberries or other smells likewise. But I have heard that smells and perfumes can actually cause bad reactions on your skin and also make our skin allergic to other products in the particular formula, if we use it for a longer period of time. One day you just get up, and the product starts causing an allergic reaction on your skin, and is no longer suitable for your skin. But I have not seen a living example of this, or any proofs, it could be a theory... One more thing, I don't know why, but I have to keep using this cream throughout the day... this formula has something in it that you have to keep using it again and again during the day, or else you end up with dry hands, even drier than before. It is also very addicting in a sense, that I just keep feeling dry on my face, and hands and crave this formula throughout the day. I feel that maybe it is just purposefully made this way. Lol, its like the Chinese food buffets, that are known to have used MSG and other bad things, to make people come back again and again, or like how you get addicted to Lay's BBQ chips containing harmful ingredients like that make you wanna keep eating them... or like the way we are so used to donuts or chocolates or coffee... Maybe the Nivea people want us to buy more and more of this crème and also run out of it too soon, by using it so many times each day... Who knows, but I do mix the Vaseline petroleum jelly into this hard consistency crème because my skin ends up being more dry without it, and I just basically mix them both and use them in conjunction, so the moisturizing lasts longer. Anyways, these are just my thoughts on this cream, and I might have dry hands and skin than others, but works wonders on the texture, tone, and complexion of your skin, and a really nice cream to use in the winter. I would also like them to stop using the glass jar, because this Nivea Glass Jar broke on me more than twice. Otherwise, would definitely be using this all my life. Keep it up Nivea, please never take away this product and only get best from better please...!!

Tip - Applying a mattifying primer after using the day cream will keep your skin moisturized without causing the makeup to slide off from the cream.I love using products like these because I'm able to focus on minor lines and wrinkles (specifically my laugh line) which use to cause my makeup to sink into the lines causing it to crease. This product provides the balance my skin needs for moisture which has also reduced some of the dry patches on my face that I sometimes get. I rate this product a 5/5 and will defintely be using this as my new day cream.

Changed for the worse

I have been using Nivea Q10 day cream since it first launched in the late 1990s. It has been an excellent moisturiser and I wouldn't have considered using any other brand. However, the formula has changed, and for me it has become unusable. It no longer smooths easily over face and neck but sits on top of the skin in white streaks which take time and effort to rub in. Once rubbed in, my skin tone appears matt not luminous (as with the previous version), and the consistency is thick and greasy. Applying makeup is more difficult and there is a greasy, heavy feeling on my face all day. I am so disappointed with this and can't think why Nivea would change an already excellent product. Great for Winter

Recently received the Nivea Q10 anti-wrinkle daily moisturizer complimentary from Influenster and Nivea - after trying it here are my thoughts:1. The moisturizer is noticeably scented, so it may be a turn off if you prefer unscented ones. Same for night cream version.2. It feels thick but spreads easily so just a pea sized amount is typically enough. Same for night cream version.3. Texture feels more on the oily side hence right now during the summer season, especially when it’s humide I wouldn’t recommend it. Especially if you want to wear make up/foundation. I feel this would be great for winter season when it’s dry.4. I don’t have any wrinkles so I can’t say about the effectiveness of reducing wrinkles.5. Nice enough, but not persuaded

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. They must know how haggard my face has become after a few years of parenthood? I've actually been using a so-called anti wrinkle cream for a while. Caveat: The problem with reviewing any anti-wrinkle cream is that you don't have a true A:B test unless you *only* apply it to one half of your face, right? It's hard to tell whether you have the same wrinkles or fewer, or whether that's due to sleep/hydration/diet, or whether you'd have looked far worse without it (perish the thought)?!? It's a night cream, it would feel a tad heavy for daytime, and the absorption is important in my view as you don't want it just wiping off all over your pillowcase. Wait marktristan, this is all sounding positive so far ? why only 3 stars? Well? Call me cynical but do you realise this is only 50mls of product ? so why the Rubik?s Cube sized box? The cardboard is folded bottom and top to create a couple of centimetres extra space. Tub is actually only half the height of the box. This kind of trickery makes me less trustful of the brand. Second, and in the same category, marketing gobbledygook. ?Works in harmony with your skin's microbiome? it says, but how? No elaboration. What ingredient does this? Does it contain live bacteria? (Don't think so). Does it nourish certain bacteria? (Doesn't say). Is it actually a biotherapeutic? (No). This just comes across as buzzword brandishing to me. Finally, I'll just say that without much substantiation for these claims of regenerative effect, ?11 seems steep for what's basically a nicely formulated shea butter moisturiser. So, while I did kind of like it, I wouldn't repurchase it, nor can I wholeheartedly recommend it. (Should I become noticeably less 'haggard' by the end of the pot, I will revise this review!)

I received and started my trial on June 3 which is the first picture as the "before" and the second photos are from June 18 a little over a 2 week span where I used both day and night with no other creams. I tried to get the same lighting and time of day. But was off an hour. I was surprised to see that the lines were dulled and happy to see some improvements! It has made my skin softer and feeling more hydrated. Applying the cream at first it does feel more heavy and oily then others pretty thick but I find that it absorbs well and doesn't make me feel greasy during day. The sample I got for day time didn't have any SPF in it though they do have other Q10 with sun protection. I have used the SPF version before and liked but not in trial or together with night cream. I like to use product with spf in summer because we are out a lot in the sun and I don't like adding more product to face then needed.

Nourishing Night Cream

I love this particular night cream I have been using for quite a long time now I’ve tried others in between but always go back to this particular one. It’s rich and creamy and leaves my skin feeling extremely moisturised. Other night creams I find can be quite heavy and thick and can irritate my skin, a little bit, not this one. I genuinely feel like it’s making a difference. My skin looks brighter and the texture of my skin seems to have improved as well. It has a nice fresh subtle fragrance and I will definitely be sticking to this particular night cream moving. forward.

I received this cream to test as part of the Nivea Review Panel. This is a lightweight day moisturizing cream which features SPF15 and Q10 antioxidant (hydroquinone). It has a slightly greasy consistency. This cream does contain fragrance. The cream alone provides some anti-photoaging effects. Despite containing SPF15, a sunscreen must be applied. Upon application the cream made my face feel slightly greasy and shiny. I use this cream on my neck as well. I pat it lightly around my eye area and they started stinging, especially at the end of the day. I don't know whether this comes from the Q10, SPF or the fragrance. I personally would have prefered if the cream did not contain fragrance. Since I started using it, I noticed that my skin has become more suppler.
