Pros: I love the extra keys and profiles on the side and top of the keyboard. The low profile keys is nice too but not really a must when finding a keyboard in the future. Love the rgb, customisable light patterns and it syncs well with my other logitech stuff through the software on the pcCons: Nothing too much I didn't like. I think this keyboard would be nice for streamers or anyone who needs extra customisable keys, but for me personally, all I generally do is play games. I had the G513 previously, which I much preffered. I don't think the low profile keys outweighs ordinary keys, I don't really need the extra buttons either as I don't do too much multi tasking and a casual gamer. If I had to be really picky, The G513 came with custom key caps with little ... MorePros: I love the extra keys and profiles on the side and top of the keyboard. Excellent keyboard to type and work on! very responsive and a pleasure to type I have been waiting for 3 years to get my hands on this one waiting for the price to be more conservative but it has kept its value thru time! Like I said I use this keyboard mostly for work (no play) and wanted the feel of a full mechanical keyboard, and the fact that was Logitech I just had to have it.. Excellent! A+ it is worth every penny.

It's good value if you can get it for under $200. Otherwise, I'd be hesitant. It's really solidly built, and the G Hub software makes it fun to customize (in terms of lighting and key assignments). I don't think you could change keycaps, so maybe it's not aimed at mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. Only thing I would change about it would be the charging port, which is Micro USB. Damnit, Logitech. You could do better.

Pros: Can type really fast and accurately with this keyboard. The lighting effects in certain games are pretty neat.Nice build, seems solid and looks great.Cons: Volume control has a lot of latency in windows. On a mac the keyboard doesn't show lights after sleep, and the keys are hard to read without any lights; unlike previous logitech keyboards. No double tapping keys on this keyboard, though my wireless tkl using same keys has problems; not sure if this will be an issue on certain keyboards.
my pros:- the g815/g915 have a very neat, minimalist design that will still be beautiful in years to come - and with the keyboard being one of the most exposed parts of a PC, i value the design of it highly- the RGB has little lightbleed and illuminates the caps fairly well. The software (Lightsync) however is rather poor in terms of customization (compared to e.g. Razer)- There is no flex, no creak, no bend of the chassis, the thick aluminium plate feels very high quality .. and for people that are not into this pre-teen aggressive gaming look .. it actually has enough class to show off higher quality materials.my cons:- from what i know .. it has ABS double shot caps and not PBT. So the caps are likely to be worn down quickly and develop a nasty shine. They ... So the caps are likely to be worn down quickly and develop a nasty shine. They are also quite thin, especially the stems (two clamps) .. and seem pretty brittle.- no cap removal tool is included in the package, so one can only suggest that cap removal is not intended (for cleaning and/or customization) .. which is a shame... because due to the open switch design, dirt can easily accumulate on the keyboard.- no wrist-rest is included! although the keyboard is fairly nice to type on due to its low profile design .. a wrist-rest SHOULD have been included, especially at this price!- the media keys as well as RGB macro keys are made out of a cheap rubber material (also rubber dome switches) that feel very cheap! - the media scroll wheel has no tactile feeling and rattles a little.- the Romer G Switches (which seem to be Kailh clones) are really, really bad! They are worse than Cheery and a joke compared to more complex ones like buckling spring or Gateron blue! The clicky type has NO tactile bump and hardly a click, the tactile version has no .. literally NO tactility and feels exactly the same as the linear. All in all the mechanical switches are a HUGE disappointment .. also sadly due to the proprietary nature of the board .. one cannot switch them for others.why still 4 stars? .. because this is mostly about the looks and build. Off of all the keyboards (full sized 100%) - it is in my opinion one of the best looking keyboards. Its flaws are many .. but mostly minor.
The Logitech G815 keyboard is a well build mechanical keyboard with a low travel/low profile. This was the best typing experience I have had when testing the keyboard out at my local electronics' store (Saturn). I would definitely recommend to test the keyboard out, especially if you are new to mechanical keyboards. The Logitech G Hub software (that one must download) can be a bit confusing. It might also require you to re-install the software as it has no way of undoing what you just tried, so the only way sometime is to reset. I am specifically referring to the Lightsync section with the freestyle options where one can assign custom colours. If you selected a key by accident, you cannot revert it back unless you create a new colour that matches the one you want. ... I am specifically referring to the Lightsync section with the freestyle options where one can assign custom colours. If you selected a key by accident, you cannot revert it back unless you create a new colour that matches the one you want. It feels tedious and should be looked into. I would definitely recommend to first look at some videos on Youtube regarding the use and functionality of the software (the features will most likely apply to your keyboard as well so no keyboard specific video is required).I enjoy the media keys on the keyboard and I am still trying to think of ways to use the macro keys. Currently I am only using it so switch of my laptop display when ever I game on my main display. The dedicated brightness button for the RGB lighting is good, but it only has 5 modes (I assume: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 0%). I would have been great if one can assign custom ranges, perhaps using the Logitech G Hub software, as 25% is still a little too bright for me sometimes. Warining, if you are new to gaming keyboards like me, please note that in the beginning one can be prone to hit the macro keys (G1-G5) on the outer edge of the keyboard when trying to go for escape (ESC) or control (CTRL). A bit of practice will resolve this.I am quite happy with my keyboard and most of the issues are something that will improve with time (hitting the wrong keys) or issues that I can live with (complexity of Logitech G Hub software, brightness of RGB).
I am writing this review after 3 months of using the keyboard, and I am really in love with this keyboard. The keys feel very smooth to type. The G Keys on the left can mess with your muscle memory and make you press the wrong keys when you first get the keyboard if you haven't used a keyboard with a similar layout before but you'll get used to it in no time. There are however a few cons that I would like to mention. The G815 has a RGB backlit problem that doesn't light back up when the PC goes to sleep or when the RGB turn off from inactivity but it rarely happens so you may not notice it (so I consider it a minor issue since it happens very rarely). I have to go back to Logitech G Hub software and reapply the RGB settings for it to turn back on. The keyboard is ... I have to go back to Logitech G Hub software and reapply the RGB settings for it to turn back on. The keyboard is also missing the Stop media control button that I had with my previous Logitech G512 Carbon keyboard which I really liked for playing music and finally the keycaps, the letter on the D key is wearing off after just using the keyboard for two months. I was really disappointed by this but I had now put on a screen guard on the keys that I had cut in the shape of the keys on the most used keys to prevent any further from wearing off the paint. And I forgot to mention that I had a very bad experience with my previous Logitech G512 Carbon Keyboard, over a 23 Blue LEDs died after 2 months on that keyboard and I was reluctant to buy the Logitech G815 but so far with the G815 I haven't had a single Blue LED die on me yet. Other than that this keyboard is awesome.
I like the concept of this keyboard but execution left little to be desired, for me at least. I was used to an MSI wired keyboard previously which has a satisfying clack to the keys, this one wasn't as satisfying. Additionally, my previous keyboard also had all labels on the keys illuminated while this one has 95% illuminated (save for some of the punctuation keys requiring shift to input). Finally, as a personal quirk, I've never used a keyboard with the Macro keys on the left of the board. My indexing of keys to hands require the edge of the keyboard to be the standard style without macro keys. As a result, I would always push the wrong keys when my hand is at the corner of the keyboard. It's a solid keyboard, and great product. Just not for me. As such, I ended ... Pros: The keyboard is built well, has good functions and is made from high quality materials.Cons: This keyboard was designed poorly and has multiple flaws specially for gamers. Firstly the way the programmable "G" keys are located on the keyboard make it so you can easily think you have your fingers on the WASD and shift key which is very annoying. The main issue with this keyboard is that the lighting only shows through the main functions of the keys and does not show the inputs like comma and brackets. This may be okay during the day but when it comes to night-time use the brightness from the main key functions makes it so you cannot see the other functions at all, making this keyboard useless at night without a light on nearby. The keyboard also does not have a wrist rest option and is uncomfortable for long period gaming/usage. Don't buy if intended for gaming or evening use.
Pros: It's very sleek and a really good design. Had to get used to where the shift/caps lock was because it is next to the macro buttons you can customise, but you get used to it after a very short amount of time.Cons: Only problem is gaming in the night time. RGB light goes through the normal keys so you can see stuff like F1, F2, 1, 2, 3, a, b, c, etc but when it comes to special characters, its a solid print on the key so the light doesn't go through it. At night you won't be able to see where the keys are, so you will need a light on if you're trying to use stuff like !"£@~: etc.
