Sticky on skin that dries leaving a sticky residue.The worse thing is the reaction it gives to my skin. First itchy, then hot and red rash on my face. Lots of other reviews say they have had similar symptoms using this product.I would give this product a zero if I could .Returned to store for full refund but had the hassle of having to fill out reaction forms and speak to the pharmacist that took 20 minutes of my time as they were extremely busy serving other people at the pharmacy counter.

I’ve been using this for the past few months. But I recently opened a new bottle and it felt completely different. Before the liquid was clear with a smooth texture and lightly scented. This new bottle was all murky, felt stickier than before and smelled a lot stronger.I thought maybe they changed their recipe, so I tried it on my left cheek. I have dry clear skin, but I got spots and can feel baby spots growing under my skin, from just 1 night using this.So now I thought ok, maybe it’s spoiled cause it went cloudy, so I went into store to check a new bottle. And they’re all cloudy. I am not risking my face with another night with this product!!!!

I have purchased this product several times over the past 15 months or so. It seems like it has made a difference in my skin. A couple of years back during my yearly skin examination the Physicans Assistant at the dermatologist office said my skin would benefit from using retinol at night and vitamin c in the morning. I purchased an expensive brand there,it was maybe $115. That's not in my budget for buying often,but No.7 vitamin c serum is- I honestly cannot tell the difference between the two products. My 79 year old mother is also using it now and loves it also.
I've been looking for a vitamin C because they say it is imperative to use in the morning if you use retinol at night and I'm already on my second bottle. It is so great. I love how well it dries on the skin. It does seem a bit sticky, but you just have to be patient and let it dry before applying your moisturizer. It's definitely not great if you're in a rush, and trying to get out the door fast since it does take about five minutes to dry but once it dries, it feels so good on the skin. It smells amazing. I'm so glad I found this product.
I don’t have sensitive skin and have never had even the mildest reaction to any face or body products. I applied this once yesterday morning and didn’t like the tacky, plasticky feel on the skin, but kept it on.This morning I got a shock when I looked on the mirror. I looked like I had a black eye except that it was red. Swollen under one eye, and as the day progressed red patches were appearing in various places on my face. The skin felt very tender too. I didn’t reapply it so this was after one application yesterday.A total waste of money and I have to walk around with a face that looks like it has been punched.
I had serious reaction around my eyes with hives developing and dry eyes and wrinkly droopy skin some weeks ago. I stopped using the serum as I suspected it after going to optician for all sorts of eye tests etc thinking it was my eyes.I then started using the My hydraluminous serum which just finished so today I used the vit C serum as I wasnt 100% sure it caused the reaction last time.This evening I looked in the mirror and an old woman was looking at me, I have hives and lose skin around my eyes.I’m not even allergic to anything generally so I googled allergy to no7 and someone on FB developed the same reaction . So I’m 100% certain it’s this product. There’s something in it that’s cooking skin.
I’ve always used no7 products and had no issue but this is horrible. It leaves your skin sticky and tacky which was off putting to begin with but I thought I would persevere. The smell was lovely but then an hour after the first application I noticed my face was red and blotchy but thought it was because I’d been rushing around. Applied the following morning and my face became red and blotchy again after 30 minutes and after an hour it was inflamed and itchy. I don’t have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to no7 products. Once I’d had the reactions I checked the reviews and noticed I wasn’t the only one. Wish I read the reviews before purchasing.
I bought this serum months ago and have only just realised after reading the reviews on here that the cause of my red, watering, dry, burning, swollen, itchy eyes is THIS!!! I have been to the doctors twice, had to use steroid ointment and as a result have had my self confidence on the floor and wanted to hide away for the best part of 6 MONTHS. The upset and frustration from not knowing what was causing these reactions - BECAUSE I WASNT USING THIS SERUM AROUND OR ON MY EYE SKIN - left me feeling at a loss and hopeless and was about to be referred to an allergy clinic when i happened to read these reviews. My skin isn't usually sensitive and this product obviously works for some people but PLEASE do a patch test before slapping it on your face.
I've always used No7 products (make up and skin care) however my face came out in a horrendous reaction last Winter. I couldn't pin point what caused it. I've just used the serum last night (for the first time since December) and I've woken up looking like a different person. Think Will Smith in Hitch inflamed. My whole face and neck are dysformed- really swallon around my eyes and upper cheeks. I've never reacted to a product before in my life. I've taken antihistamines and I know that this will take a few days to go down. Please think twice before using or definitely patch test somewhere.
