I bought this last year - a couple extremely cold nights killed my battery. Charged up the NOCO once I got it ... started my vehicle immediately, and I mean it turned over FIRST try! It's been months - 5 months to be exact, after I used it the two times during winter - threw it into the backseat of my car and basically forgot about it. Sitting in the parking lot this afternoon, fella had a dead battery. Pulled out the NOCO (was only charged the once 5 months ago) and started the guy's car in one try.FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Well worth the price tag!

The unit itself seems robust and, based on the one time I used it, it is able to start my vehicle with a weak battery in subzero temps. There are better jump starters out there but this one is readily available. However what I'm really not impressed with is the bag they include for you to carry the unit in. For almost 5 bills before tax I'd have expected a better carry case rather than the thin cloth bag they include. The bag obviously strains at the weight of the unit, but the worst is that the bag allows for accidental activation of the unit while offering no protection to the unit itself. The bag doesn't make the unit easier to carry either. Perhaps the only saving grace is that the bag is thin enough to see the lights of the unit when it's been accidentally ... MoreThe unit itself seems robust and, based on the one time I used it, it is able to start my vehicle with a weak battery in subzero temps. I'll likely get a proper case for the unit and use the bag for some other, more suitable application. An accessories bag perhaps?

Last winter, my car would require a boost everytime I wanted to start it (the battery was ready to be changed). So I got this car booster as soon as I could. After that, I was able to start my car without any issue everyday. This allowed me to take an appointment at the garage to get my battery changed when I was available the next week. I also used the booster on someone else's car and it worked right away. I couldn't be happier! It is easy to carry and it works wonders in the cold.

Slowly replacing all our jump starters from Projector and heading this way to NOCO ,We added this bad boy to our road cases , - Break down and recovery. we had the GB70's already. First vehicle we had to jump was a FordF250 super duty 7.3L V8 Diesel. the house battery was sitting at 10.2V . First go and the V8 fired up perfectly.Even tho specs says up to 7L diesels there was plenty of bang in this to jump start the V8.on the down side there isnt much juice left (2 LED Lights left on) to jump start another vehicle after so needs to be charged againbut easy enough as there is a 12v charging option from truck's 12v socket plugs.
Great value! Never let me down! 3 years now, mostly in Alaska use for everything! Mine is NOCO GB-150 Absolutely amazing! Tremendous power. I have jumped 4 vehicles on one charge and it still showed full charge! One was a big diesel truck that was dead! Dead dead. Over the road truck! I also use it for filling tires(separate unit plugged into this) camping, hooking up to lights, charge my phone, fill pool and lake floats. I also hook up to an inverter to power my cpap overnight. I used to buy those jumper battery, compressor, light types. They ALWAYS let me down within a year or two.The on board compressors were junk and would fail after a few uses. Seems they also failed consistently in cold weather.I NEVER got more than 2 years out of these expensive The lithium Ion ... MoreGreat value! I live north almost to Canada, have had this unit about 3 years now. These batteries are the same type used like Toyota Prius use that last 20+ years.
Arriving at work this morning I found the battery on the ford diesel truck Stone Cold Flat DEAD. Another employee had left the hazard lights and the company radio on overnight. I pulled my truck up to jump start it. I left my truck with cables attached to the dead truck for about 5 minutes expecting to just jump in and fire this dead ford diesel off. I barely got a growl before click-click DEAD. I remembered I had my brand new fully charged NICO Power Pack in the tool box of my truck. I attached the power pack per instructions and the digital volt gage read below 3 volts. HUMMM. The power pack would not go to the jump start mode? I looked at the power pack directions. The power pack would not go to the jump start mode? I looked at the power pack directions. Well low and behold there is an override switch to bypass the safety feature if the battery is below a low voltage limit. What the heck lets bypass this NOCO power pack and see what its got. I hit the bypass switch and operation on button and jumped into the truck. The second I turned the key on I knew by the way the dash lite up that this truck was gettin the juice. I waited for the glow plug light to extinguish and I turned the ignition key to start this Dead Diesel. Wham! The engine fired in the first revolution of the crank. I mean this Ford diesel engine fired off like it has never done before. Wow I was impressed. I disconnected the NOCO Power Pack and left the truck idling. I took the power pack into the shop and connected the power pack to the charger expecting it to be at least 1/2 to 1/3 partially discharged. The state of charge meter on the NOCO showed that it was charging on the full charge light meaning almost still fully charged. When I returned to the shop less than a half hour later to check out the charge on the NOCO, the unit was already fully charged ready to take on the next DEAD Diesel Engine.
First off, I have purchased MANY of these types of jumper packs. All with Lithium batteries. This unit BY FAR is the most powerful and it does what it claims. DO NOT listen to the people who have NO CLUE how to use it for a COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERY! For a completely DEAD battery, you simply push the power button. THEN you must push the RED (!) button to activate the CONSTANT 'ON' power output. Meaning, these jumper packs sense your battery then activate their power output. It is just a safety feature so you can not touch the red and black cables together and cause a fire etc. THIS particular battery pack is very unique where it allows you to bypass this safety feature to start a car that does NOT have a battery or start a car that has a completely dead battery. ... MoreFirst off, I have purchased MANY of these types of jumper packs. Again, it is the most powerful unit I have used to date. I used it to start my 10 liter CAT diesel engine RV while my batteries were dead!! It is expensive but if you need THIS much power, buy it.
I am not just your average user. I am a mechanic. I use these things daily. I have used the smaller 2000A jumper for a couple of years. No issues with that one. I’m more than pleased with it. It lives up to its promise. I decided to upgrade and buy this 3000A unit which promises “suitable for use on gasoline engines up to 9 liters and diesel engines up to 7” IT fails to jump start diesel Engines 6.0L and above. Disappointing. Also it is too heavy and bulky. It’s twice the size of the 2000A unit. Not worth it. Plan on returning it.
I work for a large utility most weeks are 4 10 hour daysThe truck I drive is a F 250 4x4 it has 4 radios, 2 computers, a GPS, and a 400 amp converter all in it, after sitting idol for 3 days the battery is dead as a hammer. I bought the NOCO 150 to keep from moving my personal truck to jump start every weekI’ve charged the unit up actually jump started the company truck 2 weeks in a row perfectly and the unit still show full charge excellent product
I like the size of the unit. I do wish it had a handle that folded up to carry it. I have only used this once so far. I used it jumped off my side by side, which is not a good test for this unit. It jumped it off without any issues. I like the digital read out on here and the light has come in handy a couple of times too. When I hooked up the battery, the digital readout showed a little over 10 volts on the battery. When I got the unit started, it showed a little over 14 volts. This tells me that the battery was charging while the engine was running. Pretty neat feature.
