I bought this expecting to try it and return it, but will never be without it now. I drive a 2005 L200 and there aren't often vehicles around that are able to jump start it when I do something stupid like leave the side lights on all weekend.Within 30 minutes of plugging it into a USB-C laptop charger it was fully charged. Clipped it onto the truck battery, pressed the button, and it turned the engine over faster than the battery itself usually would. Unclipped it and saw that it still had half of it's battery capacity remaining. Very impressed and would recommend to everyone.

I bought this from Halfords in Sudbury last year to help starting my 2 litre diesel Motorhome. All was ok at first but now it won’t hold a charge so useless. Replaced it with a set of jump leads which work every time. Mine is the 12v 1500A version. I charged it fully yesterday and attempted to use it today but down to lowest power level before attempting to use it.

I purchased this back in November. I think it’s pretty useless. I think it’s only managed to start 1 car & fails all the other times. I end up using my old sealy one which will start anything. I am very satisfied with my NOCO Boost X GBX45 1250A 12V UltraSafe Portable Lithium Jump Starter USB-C Power. I mainly bought for the purpose of using as a method to keep my Samsung A70 Cell phone charged (which has a Type-C charging port) when on the move. It charges at the speed of Fast Charging which is sufficient enough while playing Coin Hunt World a Geo-Cashing game. I have not yet tested the duration it can keep my phone at 100% or how long the NOCO Boost can continue to charge for but seems like a long enough time period of time for my liking. Excellent product!!
Jump leads are great but bought this as my other half and daughter left the ignition turned on at the local supermarket late on a Sunday afternoon and drained the battery and no-one around to help. Turned out the battery was on its last legs and died on a couple of further occasions and now replaced but the booster is in the boot now in a neat case and can be topped up occasionally with a 12v socket adapter. Great also that you don't need to position a donor car next to the dead one if you are in a tight spot. Click and collect at Halfords was great. I arrived a bit early and the team were very understanding and went off to pick the item and hand it over within a couple of minutes.

I tried charging them, but they're old and wouldn't hold any charge. I tried jump starting it, but that didn't work. The Noco was a last result, and managed to turn the engine which gave me hope. The problem I faced was that the dual battery system drew so much power from the Noco that I could only get around four short bursts before it overheated. So it took a couple of days before I got the combination of short burst on the starter and the right amount of throttle, but the engine did start. Haven't used it yet. Emergency preparedness device. Do love how NOCO has accessory cable that allows me to avoid having to use those strong clamps. Just hook the eyelet cables to the battery permanently and plug in the NOCO boost if/when needed.Or, with the proper adapter on the cable, plug in my NOCO Genius5 to maintain the battery on a seldom driven car. NOCO rocks.Great customer support, too.
I purchased this ostensibly for use with a motorhome which is in storage for long periods but when my car had been sitting on the driveway unused for a few weeks and had a completely dead battery (remote central locking wouldn’t even work) I realised I had a perfect opportunity to test my purchase for real. Wow wow wow! It worked as planned. Car started. I did not that having previously fully charged the unit when I came to use it only 3 of 4 leds were illuminated so beware to make sure the unit is topped up for those emergency moments. Very pleased with the purchase.
I have already made use of this several times, does exactly what it says on the side of the tin. Would easily recommend as an alternative to slaving from an available vehicle battery. Especially if you find yourself somewhere with a dead battery, and no convenient assistance. All you need to do is reach into your partner and pull out the booster. Very straightforward, very easy to use, instructions are also very clear.
Wow, really saved my skin when my battery died. I was stuck with no one around to help and I had to go get food and pet supplies before a storm was predicted to roll in. Came half charged from factory so it took a few more hours of slow charging to full capacity before first use. After hooking it up to my car I was on my way to the store in under 60 seconds! So easy even an anxiety filled person with zero car knowledge can do it. I'm impressed, easy carry and super easy set-up. It has a flashlight with multiple settings and it can charge your phone too. One higher priced purchase in my life I don't regret at all, seems like it will have a long useful life, quality built. Wish it came with a fast charging brick and haed cover but I can purchase those items separately.
