Fantastic kit if it worked.Bought one over a year ago and it stopped charging all of a sudden. When I looked into it, apparently they are known for packing up and there is nothing you can do to fix them.This time the one we bought wouldn't charge from brand new. Shame as when they do work, they are brilliant.

O lying thing I'm uncertain about is how many jump starts before it goes flat, so I'm charging it after every four jumps.It does take ages to charge and a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a fast charger 8n the box.

I have a 2003 new beetle with a 1.9L turbo diesel. It hates the cold and my battery was 3 years old and no longer holding a charge.The car would be fine throughout the day, but the cold Seattle nights took their toll and the battery would be dead by morning.I bought the Noco Boost X GBX55, tried it once and the car barely even cranked once before it fired right up. NO HESITATION!!!(Mind you, before hooking up the Noco, the car wasn’t cranking at all)Noco did it’s job with plenty of power to spare.Only negative would be that you have to remember to keep it charged. Other than that, EXCELLENT PRODUCT!I’m not easily impressed, but this jump box rocks.

This jump starter is a very versatile unit. The bright LED light comes in handy at home in black outs or on the road changing tyres at night. The USB power output comes in handy on long trips with kids and their electronics. As a jump starter it packs plenty of punch to start your flat battery. Be wise though, buy the appropriate jump starter for your vehicle, always go for the larger capacity. Also be mindful to check it regularly to make sure it is fully charged.
Was looking for one to keep in the car , my other jump pack took up to much room .You can use it a hand full of time before it needs to be recharged.In my opinion it should be sold with a fast charger , but obviously that's how the makers make more money selling one separately.Over all happy with this product .
I was very enthusiastic to get the NOCO jump starter, it was bought incase of an emergency when traveling. Specifically for moving my family from Alaska to Arizona, luckily we didn’t run into any of those situations. Besides charging it each night in the hotel keeping it out of the cold elements, the jump box has been stored in my garage. I have had it about 6 months, literally used it once to jump my Corvette and now it won’t charge, or do anything.Good concept, great travel size, maybe I just got a dud?
Love this jump pack/charger. I initially had an issue however the warranty process was so easy. It could have been user error and I will never know. They took care of it and also sent me a cool bag to put it in! Excellent customer support and fast as well! Used it once and it does exactly what it was advertised to do. Exceptional rugged quality for an alpine Loop Trail, backcountry gear hauling super geek! When you are in places most people are not then this gadget is a must. Get stuck and die or get stuck and buck the heck on!
Ive gone through many Noco products to find the right one for my use at a good price. I finally found GBX55 1750A. It looks sturdy, solid and not too big. I got the case for it. Ive used it twice and it did its job as described. Be sure to follow directions first
I bought the best one to ensure maximum capacity and it has started my 1.9 diesel multiple times easily. At the time of buying I noted a Hilka alternative said explicitly that it would work for cars fitted with stop start technology. I looked extensively for such comment about this one but could not find any. Having purchhaes it says not for use with stop start on one line buried deep in a multi page support document. As most cars now have stop start this should be stated clearly up front as it is on no use to many situations.
Hi I work for the government and we have a fleet of trucks. i ordered a couple and I jumped a truck out of the box but it wouldnt recharge after. the other I charged and I exchanged the first one. But then the second one was used a couple times and wouldnt charge, that also was exchanged. Then one of the other new ones was left unplugged for a month and will not recharge. I personally have a cheaper type one that has never had issues.
