Nordic Ware Premier Gold Heritage Bundt Pan

$81.01

(701 reviews)

The heritage Bundt pan makes a show-stopping spiral Bundt cake. The graceful swirls look particularly magical at a New Year’s Eve party, but a cake made in the heritage Bundt pan will get gasps of admiration at any time of year! The heritage Bundt pan is part of Nordic Ware’s Platinum Collection. The range of heavy cast aluminium bakeware gets consistent rave reviews for their even cooking and easy release properties. A recipe is included on the cardboard sleeve for instant Bundt inspiration! The pan holds up to 2.36 litres of cake mixture, and makes a cake 24.5cm in diameter and 8.5cm high. Before and after each use, hand wash the Bundt pan with warm soapy water. Before pouring in your cake mixture, grease the inside of the pan and dust with sifted flour, fine semolina or cocoa powder to aid release. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning products, as these will compromise the non-stick properties of the Bundt pan. Nordic Ware was started in 1946, by Dotty and Dave Dalquist in their Minneapolis basement. They started making speciality Scandinavian cookware, like the Ebelskiver pan. Then, in 1950s, they launched the Bundt pan. After being used to bake a prize-winning cake in a national baking contest, the Bundt pan shot to fame. It’s still Nordic Ware’s most popular style of product, used in over 70 million kitchens around the world. 70 years on, and Nordic Ware are still family owned and operated. They even still make most of their products in Minneapolis. Not suitable for dishwashers.

This is my first bundt pan—I’d been eyeing it for a while…those sleek, modern blades turned me on—& I couldn’t love it more. I was worried about not getting razor-like definition in my cake, but that wasn’t a problem—I used a mix of 1T each APF & melted butter, brushed in the inside. In fact, I was surprised how easily it slid out & how identically it mirrored the mold.

Sonoma is a marvel of molds. This mold is also beautiful and is very resistant and likes to last a lifetime. I have been with it for 6 months and I leave you the details for a perfect unmolding: With a brush, we grease the mold VERY well, all the joints and the center. Then put a thin layer of flour with a small strainer (cocoa) if it is a chocolate saucepan. We pour our dough and move it in a circle so that it rises up the walls of the mold. Then we put a cloth underneath and hit the mold against our surface (cloth below) this makes the bubbles that may be in the dough rise. When you take your pancake out of the oven, set a buzzer, 10 minutes, let it rest, and unmold when the buzzer rings. I assure you a perfect release. I hope it serves you, I recommend it

This pan is the latest addition to my collection of Bundt pans. I still use my original one that I got back in the early '70's to make my Tunnel of Fudge cake. I now have 6 and I love every one of them. I only wish they held more batter. I have a different pound cake recipe that one of grandsons ( who doesn't like chocolate, but loves my pounder cake) says is even better than the one I have used for years. I made it in my new pan and it was beautiful. The extra batter I bake in one of my other bundt pans and it made just enough cake for one person to have 3 pieces. I know I will use this pan for many cakes.

Beautiful and substantial
24 February 2023

The size of this Bundt pan made it attractive to us as it's usually just the two of us enjoying my baked goods. The pan is gorgeous, heavy duty and created a beautiful cake. I did use a pastry brush and coated it with about a teaspoon of oil but the cake popped right out - no problem.

Beautiful pan
3 April 2020

I recently used this pan for the first time and the results were incredible. I was looking for a Bundt pan that was not the standard design, and I chose this to start with. I went with Nordic Ware because I liked how the pan was heavy and felt durable.I used a recipe that called for coating the pan with a mixture of cocoa and melted butter, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous about how it would work with the crisp, sharp edges. It worked seamlessly. The cake easily fell out of the pan, sharp edges crisp. Clean up was a breeze.

Buyer Beware...Sloppy Quality
20 August 2017

In the past 2 weeks I have bought ...and promptly returned...two Nordic Platinum Heritage bundt pans from WalMart. Both had the same problem, sloppy application of the non-stick coating on half of the pan's top outer rim. The uneven ridges are bisible to the naked eye. Nordic lists these pans at $50 MSRP. For this price you expect Nordic's products to be thoroughly inspected at the factory. Yes, all factories do produce "cosmetically blemished" or factory seconds, but such products should be appropriately labeled as such before being sold to the unsuspecting public. With the holiday baking season fast approaching, buyers of the Nordic Heritage bundt pan...and ALL Nordic baking products...should thoroughly inspect both the interior & exterior surfaces of the pan ... MoreIn the past 2 weeks I have bought ...and promptly returned...two Nordic Platinum Heritage bundt pans from WalMart. Excellent Bundt Tin, excellent service
11 December 2022

The tin itself is far superior to any others I've tried, and leaves a very defined pattern in your finished cake. Arrived quickly and was packaged well. HoS kept in touch throughout the purchase with updates. High recommended.

Excellent Cake Pan!
15 April 2023

6 cup bundt cake pans are the perfect size, imo, and this pan delivers in quality and design. I LOVE the eyecatching spiral shape and the material of the pan bakes the cake evenly and releases easily. My advice is skip trying butter and flour the pan and use baking spray with flour in it for easy prep. Despite the unique shape, the pan is easily cleaned with a sponge.

Great Find
19 December 2021

I love this pan. It is so beautiful. I am going to make my first cake in it today. So I will let you know how it comes out. I love the look of the pan. It is heavy and sturdy. I have had others that said that they have the same pan but it is not as sturdy as this one. I am quite pleased that I invested in buying this!

gorgeous tin!
22 January 2021

This is a stunning heavy duty tin and the design it produces is an absolute showstopper. To make sure that design shows up perfectly, prepare it by lining with a thin layer of butter (not melted), dust with a little flour then shake out the excess. (Alternatively use a baking spray that contains flour). Keep it in the fridge while you make your batter. Once the cake is done, leave for 10 minutes then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. I get perfect results every time with this method and I have several nordicware tins
