The product taste like crap. I add it to my morning smoothies but need to add honey to combat bitter taste. I recommend taking it after work outs instead of prior. When I took it prior to work outs I gained weight. My appetite was suppressed as well unable to eat since I felt full. No more body aches from heavy weight lifting.

I am a 68 year old active male. I take this as a muscle building and exercise recovery supplement. As men age they can experience Sarcopenia which is defined as an age related, involuntary loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength. I have read that this product can help to offset Sarcopenia. I take a teaspoon with water and swish it down twice a day. It digests very easily and can be mixed with other non protein beverages. The taste is good enough to eat straight up without juice if you want.
This stuff tastes nasty, but it has exactly what you want in it and nothing else, so you can mix it in with what works best for your palette. I take it in water with D-Ribose powder and a splash of cranberry juice, which takes some of the edge off and gets me a bunch of my daily's at once. Know that its a very sticky powder, and you'll want to give it a good stir and break up any small clumps that come floating to the surface with the edge of the measuring spoon.
First off, this stuff tastes terrible by itself; so if youre a snowflake, look elsewhere. However, almost every other brand has artificial sweeteners, which is a deal killer for me. Ive consumed this by itself many times, and just dealt with the taste because its exactly what I wanted. That said, Ive grown really fond of combining this with a little Now Beet Root Powder and 3 drops of Now Liquid Stevia. Its still not great, but it sure is a lot easier to get down. I typically lift heavy in a fasted state, so this plus some Now Creatine, and Im good to go for a very intense workout.
