Creatine Monohydrate occurs naturally in the body and is found in food sources such as meat and fish. Creatine has been a popular supplement with bodybuilders and athletes due to its energy properties during intense exercise or athletic events. During intense, brief bursts of activity, the body converts adenosine triphosphate (ATP) into adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and phosphate to be used as energy. Creatine aids in the process of converting ADP back to ATP, resulting in larger amounts of ATP for energy use which helps promote a short-term increase in endurance and strength. Additionally, Creatine can be stored by cells, allowing an “energy reservoir” for bodybuilders and athletes. Creatine Monohydrate by NOW is 100% pure – no additives or preservatives! Creatine Monohydrate by NOW gives you an affordable 200 serving, a one-kilogram tub of 100% pure creatine monohydrate. Despite the various creatine blends available, many athletes come back creatine monohydrate time and time again. Why? Because creatine monohydrate works, and it’s very affordable. It makes sense to use what works! With NOW’s unparalleled reputation for pure ingredients, you know you’ll get high quality and pure ingredients from NOW.

Best creatine I've ever consumed

I already consumed other creatines, but the creatine from Now Sports surprised me. The 1-kilo pack helps those who consume large amounts of creatine. It mixes easily with water and other protein shakes. Does not affect the taste of other products. There is a big difference in my strength and torque during my workout.

Excellent!

It's important to find a trustworthy company when it comes to supplements, and NOW Foods is one of those companies. Their products, including creatine, are reasonably priced - although the price of creatine has skyrocketed across the board. This creatine mixes well with my protein shakes. I personally only take 3 grams daily instead of 5 grams as a 150 lb (68 kg) man.

It is a tasteless product so it is very difficult to drink it with only water, you can use it as a base for a smoothie or make protein pancakes and the like. You have to mix for a relatively long time, but when you mix well, no lumps remain. The product arrived well packaged, I bought the small package to test the taste and without a doubt if I want a similar product again I will order it. Great for protein diet.

Great value product
25 June 2023

Quality ingredients and an great value product. I love that this is vegan. The powder dissolves well in warm water. I sometimes use it in my drink bottle to sip throughout the day but it does need regular 'shaking' to keep it mixed. I noticed an improved performance with gym exercises in terms of output.

Lousy because not micronized
16 June 2023

I am usually well satisfied with NOW supplements, but not this one. To fully dissolve in water, and for better bodily absorption, creatine must be micronized. NOW's creatine is not. So you end up with about a third of it sitting like gravel at the bottom of the glass. I put some in my water bottle and had it with me on my motorcycle. It was still not fully dissolved after an hour.Until NOW wakes up and micronizes their creatine, don't waste your money.

No Funny Smell or Taste - Bargain Price - Mixes Poorly
29 June 2021

Creatine is one of the few health supplements on the market that most experts agree on will promote muscle growth and possibly increase high-intensity workout performance. Since I can find no proven data that shows one brand of creatine is better than the other I look for and buy the least expensive creatine supplement from a reliable source that I can find, which is why I have used this NOW Sports Monohydrate Creatine Powder several times over the last couple of years.I will admit I was drawn into buying a micronized creatine powder previously as this powder was supposed to dissolve better when mixing in liquids. What I found was that this more expensive micronized powder did dissolve just a little bit better than standard creatine powder, however it still did not dissolve completely in liquid so for me the slight benefit was not worth the extra cost. Also, I was a little worried before after my last order after reading a few reviews stating that the NOW Sports Monohydrate Creatine Powder had changes and now has a "horrible taste and smell". However, the monohydrate creatine powder I ordered has no weird smell or taste. So does this NOW Sports Monohydrate Creatine Powder work? I couldn't tell you as I'm not sure if any muscle growth or extra energy can be attributed to this powder, or to working out and eating better. But for the rather inexpensive price, even if any muscle or stamina gains are purely coincidental I'm still going to keep using creatine powder.I've posted two pictures below.1) Shows the creatine powder in a glass of room temperature water after stirring vigorously for 15 seconds and then letting the powder settle in the water. (Yes I wish the powder would dissolve completely after a few stirs, but this is not a deal breaker to me.)2) This pic shows suggested usage and other information found on the product label.I hope some of this information was helpful.Update: I stored the sealed jar with water and creatine powder that I used for the pic below in the fridge to drink later. Over the last 9 days I shook the jar to mix the contents at least once per day. To my astonishment 9 days later the creatine powder still settles back to the bottom of the jar every time, looking pretty much like the first time I originally attempted to mix it. 🤔
