I love the way this natural lipstick goes on so smoothly, dries quickly, and lasts for hours through eating and drinking with no ring. The colour I’ve tried is Rich Plum which on my lips is actually more like a brownish neutral, so not very true to its name, but i still like it a lot. The lipstick has a slightly vanilla scent which is very pleasant and not cloying, and the finish is exactly what it says - not too matte (so good for older lips that get too dry with mattes) and not too shiny. You can press your lips together after application to even out the colour which is often not possible with other liquid lipsticks that dry quickly. The colour, though subtle, is highly pigmented, and goes on very smoothly with the sponge applicator which is really easy to use. It feels thick on initial application but after a few seconds it just sets and feels light and natural and won’t crack like some liquid mattes (at least on me). It does tingle a little bit on application, but also seems to have a bit of a plumping effect which is very flattering. I think maybe that’s due to the microspheres (which are, I believe, planet friendly). Speaking of planet friendly, as you’d expect with Nude by Nature, all the ingredients are natural and include ingredients like kakadu plum, sweet almond oil, shea butter and vitamin e, and of course it’s cruelty free (which is now a must for me). The price is not super cheap but it won’t break the bank and if you wait for a sale, you can often pick up NbN at half price at Priceline. Overall I think this is a terrific lipstick for anyone who is looking for long lasting, easy to apply lipstick that lasts and doesn’t dry out the lips.

I have one of these beautiful Satin Liquid Lipsticks in shade 06 Wisteria, and I am very pleased with everything about this product! The lipstick itself comes in a very sleek case with a rose gold lid and the soft doe foot applicator makes it quick and easy to apply. Wisteria is a beautiful deeper pink shade with a slight berry tint. I think it's the perfect everyday colour that can be layered to create a more bold lip look for nighttime. This liquid lipstick glides on smoothly and easily as it contains a great mix of plant butters and oils, as well as hyaluronic acid. It's therefore completely different to many other liquid lipsticks I've tried as it's non-drying and actually makes my dry lips look and feel better when I apply it daily. It does dry to a semi-matte finish but doesn't feel powdery or dry. It lasts pretty well for several hours before I need to touch up. I recommend using this lipstick with the Nude by Nature Perfecting Lip Primer to get even longer wear and coverage. This is a high quality, affordable lipstick, that also treats and conditions lips as it provides colour. I would therefore love to try more colours in the future!\n\nI would recommend this product to anyone who wants to a natural, pigmented and nourishing lipstick that's also cruelty free. \n

You only need to apply a thin layer (no need to double dip) and you get instant pigmented colour. I have tried both with and without a lip primer or lip balm and found that my lips looked amazing either way. I found that you need to allow for the liquid lipstick to dry for about 30 seconds and then you hardly feel it on your lips.I also found that it had a sweet vanilla scent that faded after application. I did find that during food and drink the liquid lipstick does fade away over time, but it leaves a subtle stain to the lips. As mentioned it is comfortable on and lips feel non-drying but rather hydrated for the duration of the liquid lipstick on the lips.I have never used Nude by Nature products before, but have been pleased with using this liquid lipstick and would be happy to explore other products from the brand.

Good amount of pigment with a satin finish.

I have been giving the Nude by Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick a try as part of a Beautyheaven trial team. The trial also included the Nude by Nature Perfecting Lip Primer and I have tried this Liquid Lipstick with and without the Primer. The product comes in a tube which is within a cardboard package. The tube is a similar shape and size to a lot of lip gloss and liquid lip products. The top is a rose/copper colour and the bottom looks like frosted glass. I also own a Nude by Nature gloss which is in a similar tube but it is not frosted so I found this difference to be handy, helping me tell them apart. So far, I have found this Liquid Lipstick to be quite a good product. With or without the primer underneath, the product is well pigmented and lasts fairly well. I would say that a little bit goes a long way, particularly with the shade I chose which is 03 Natural. I must admit, I found this Natural shade to be a little bit dark for me and kind of wish I'd chosen a different colour. I'm not great at describing lip product colours but this seems to be more brownish pink with plum-ish tones. I'm fairly fair-skinned so it isn't exactly my "natural". That's just me and my personal preferences though. I'm sure it is perfect for some other people. The applicator is a slightly angled, doe-foot type. I didn't mind it but I know that some people don't love that style of applicator. The Lip Primer product helps prevent feathering but I didn't notice that this lipstick feathered on my lip edges without it. The Satin finish is a nice balance of matte and shine and gives a sort of healthy and natural pop of colour. One minor thing that I didn't like was the scent of this product although after using it a couple of times it doesn't bother me.All-in-all I think this is a nice liquid lipstick and I'm tempted to try a shade that is more to my taste.

High-end Lip Look!

Gorgeous colour! I have this in the 03 Natural and it's so good - definitely a 'my lips but better' colour on me. I have a classified Neutral colour in my skin (MAC Waterweight Foundation in NC37 and MAC Matchmaster Foundation 3.0) and this beautiful 03 Natural colour lipstick is amazing with my colouring but I think it could suit a range of skin colours beautifully really. It's a colour I could wear anywhere and I feel my presentation would be boosted massively by wearing it. I've been wearing it a lot and it makes me feel properly dressed. I love this colour so much I'd wear it on my wedding day if I could go back in time. This lippy is applied with a wand and goes on really easily. I can get a perfected look from using the applicator which is a good quality foam tipped one. The satin finish is just that, as promised, a perfect satin finish on my lips. As mentioned in the heading, this lip product gives my lips a high-end lip look, like one produced with a much more expensive high end product. So it's great value! The formula has a smooth, heavenly consistency which is so easy to work with to apply. It stays on really well too. I like and love most of the ingredients. The tube is frosted plastic but looks like a frosted glass so it's both practical and pretty. The lid holding the wand is a rose gloss gold. The scent of the product is noticeably an 'edible' scent so it sort of smells like a lovely sweet and yummy dessert (but not overly sweet). I'm not saying it's edible but that it smells like a food type of scent. I would advise wearing this and definitely not eating it as it's not at all a food - it does have the ingredient hydrogenated castor oil in it which is definitely not edible in my view. I wish it didn't have anything hydrogenated in it at all as that can be quite toxic if it gets in the human system from what I've learnt regarding human nutrition. I'd love it if NBN brought a version of this lip product out without it as I am quite particular with ingredients these days. Personally, I wipe this off my lips if I'm going to eat something as I don't want anything hydrogenated to get into my system. That's the only reason why I took off a star. Otherwise, this product would get 10 stars from me because it's so great!

I love this new formulation satin liquid lipstick from Nude by Nature. It’s the perfect mixture of long lasting and comfortable on lips (not too drying), two qualities I almost never get together. The product comes in an easy to use tube with the Nude by Nature signature rose gold cap. The doe foot sponge applicator that works just like the Moisture Infusing Lipgloss, though this new formulation is much longer lasting - it lasts for hours even after eating and drinking - but still has a satin (not matte) feel and leaves lips looking full, soft and moist. Applying it is easy, even for clumsy fingers, and because it’s not matte or super fast drying, you can blot the lips together to even out the colour or even blot with a tissue and reapply for ever longer lasting ... MoreI love this new formulation satin liquid lipstick from Nude by Nature. I’ve got the rich plum shade (the darkest) and it’s actually fairly pink and natural looking on me - just really lifting my lip colour from its natural shade. The scent of this lipstick is actually very strong - like vanilla, and though it’s not unpleasant - the intensity of it may bother some. It does fade quite quickly though and isn’t cloying or unnatural so I don’t mind it myself. You can reapply this if you want, or apply twice without any clumping, and it doesn’t get group up or migrate to the outside like some long lasting lipsticks do. This is really a fantastic formulation - I’m so pleased to have found a long lasting lipstick that doesn’t dry my lips out. And of course Nude by Nature is all Australian, ethical and doesn’t test on animals, and I like their products so much, I’ve been slowly replacing all of my makeup with their stuff. I do find that the lipsticks don’t last very long though, and the matte lipsticks are a bit drying (though less so than other mattes). so am really happy with this latest formulation - it’s really perfect, and leaves lips in such good condition, which isn’t surprising since it’s full of beautiful natural ingredients like shea butter, vitamin e, kakadu plum and of course nothing that you don’t want near your lips.

Unlike similar products where you have to act super quickly lest it dries in a terrible way, its okay to go slightly out of the lines and make adjustments. It feels very moisturising and has a pleasant scent. It doesn’t make your lips look chapped / highlight dryness but rather provides a creamy layer that doesn’t transfer too much / end up on your teeth. The packaging is really attractive – it has a gold lid which feels luxurious and it’s the idea size for your handbag without the applicator wand being too small (as I’ve experienced with other brands).I also appreciated the subtle way it fades away overtime / after eating - it doesn't leave harsh lines where lip colour has obviously vanished but evenly fades until you reapply!I will definitely purchase this product again and plan to get a few more in different colours!

Nice wear
1 August 2019

Of the three NBN products I had the privilege of trailing, while I do like this liquid lip colour, it was my least favourite product of the lot. The packaging is nice and the texture of the lip colour is nice and easy to apply. I tried "orchid" and I found it quite surprising that the shade didn't really gel with the shade description for me. I was expecting something nudey-pink or maybe plum, but the shade was kind of a terracotta, orangey-brown hue. Luckily that colour works well with my skin tone (neutral-to-warm light), but it would be a tough colour for many people to wear. I didn't actually discern too much variation amongst the shades from the colour selection we were given. There were many colours that looked very similar so I'm going to seek out this product in store to see for myself in person what the shade selection is like. Hopefully the range is more varied than it looks online. I feel like I would have enjoyed this product a lot more had the shade matched my idea of what it would be like. This lip colour is very long wearing and applies really well over the primer, which I think is crucial to the use of this lip colour. I am not hugely fond of matte lip products and this liquid lip colour leans toward matte, which can be very drying for me. The primer adds an essential moisture barrier to protect lips from drying out. Another reason I highly recommend the primer with this liquid lip is because when I apply the liquid lip colour, I find the look to be quite bold and not in a good way. But if I go over the primer + liquid lip colour and smudge it with my finger, it really softens the colour and makes it far more wearable for me. The primer really facilitates that smudging step that helps create more of a stain look than a super bold matte.

Satin Lips

I was very excited to be invited to trial Nude by Nature's latest product, Satin Liquid Lipstick. Participants on this trial were asked to select their preferred trial shade from photos of the product swatched on the lips of models. I have to say that I failed miserably at this task, having chosen a shade that was too light in the other product in this trial, and one that was too dark in the liquid lipstick. The colour I selected was Rich Plum, which had been swatched on the lips of a very dark skinned model. Unfortunately with my light complexion this shade turned out to be a little bit too dark and intense for my (daytime wear) liking.Colour aside, I found wearing this new product enjoyable. Unfortunately with my light complexion this shade turned out to be a little bit too dark and intense for my (daytime wear) liking.Colour aside, I found wearing this new product enjoyable. I trialled it both on its own and over the top of the NbN Lip Primer which was also a component of this trial. While the Liquid Lipstick went on well and had good colour intensity both with and without the primer, the finish and staying power of the lippy was far better when using the primer underneath. Without the primer I felt that the lipstick sat in lip lines and had very little staying power - in fact, the lipstick actually came off of its own accord without eating or drinking. Just licking my lips was enough to remove it. I've never had this experience with a lipstick before. With the primer underneath the lipstick performed far better, had more of a silky look and didn't come off anywhere near as easily.I very much like the packaging of NbN Liquid Lipstick which is a frosted resin tube with a removable felt wand. The tip of the wand is angled and quite long, allowing for accurate application. The finish of Satin Liquid Lipstick is just that - like satin..not at all glossy, but not a flat matte either. I also have to mention how comfortable the product is on the lips. This is no doubt due to all its moisturising ingredients - shea butter, sweet almond oil and sodium hyaluronate. The kaolin clay does add a slight 'chalky' texture, but not to the point of annoyance.Whilst I'm not a massive fan of fragrance/flavor in lip products, this one smells quite lovely - like caramel.Overall I like this product, but it's not one I feel I could trust to perform well over a number of hours the way my staple brands do. For that reason I have removed a star.I would like to express my gratitude to BH and Nude by Nature for allowing me to trial this and the other two products.

Surprisingly good.

I’ve enjoyed trialling the Nude By Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick as I’m always on the lookout for a liquid lippy that works for me, sadly most of them don’t but this lipstick has actually been a pleasant surprise. I find that a lot of liquid lipsticks are just too drying on my lips and end up flakey and patchy or settled into my lip lines but I think that the satin formula of this lipstick means that it’s less drying and more flexible on the lips.I’ve trialled the shade #05 Sunkissed which is a deep nude with a slight terracotta undertone and it’s a really nice almost nude shade on me, anything too light or true nude can leave me looking washed out but this is a very flattering shade. The packaging is very simple, a frosted, clear tube with a gold lid, but I ... MoreI’ve enjoyed trialling the Nude By Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick as I’m always on the lookout for a liquid lippy that works for me, sadly most of them don’t but this lipstick has actually been a pleasant surprise. I’m not sure how to describe the smell except to say it’s a bit sweet but you don’t notice it after a while and I don’t mind it anyway. I actually don’t think it has much of a taste at all which is a huge plus for me as I have some gorgeous lipsticks that I just can’t wear because of their smell and taste. This liquid lippy is definitely a satin formula that is quite slick and glides on smoothly with the doe-foot applicator and is very easy to apply. I find that it doesn’t dry down completely and stays a little tacky but that’s why I like it as it has some flex and give to it so wears better on my lips than the dryer formulas. I did find it faded when eating and drinking but it faded evenly and didn’t leave an obvious ring of colour around my lips the way some liquid lipsticks do.Overall I was very impressed with this product and if you’re like me and prefer a liquid lipstick that’s not too drying or super matte then I recommend giving this one a try.
