NYX Bare With Me Blur Tint Foundation 30 ml 15 Warm Honey

I love this foundation. For context I have combination skin (oily tzone, dry around my chin area, normal everywhere else) and this foundation really suits my skin type. I find that with only a dollop of this foundation I get medium coverage on my whole face for a matte-satin finish. My skin does look smoothed out and my pores blurred. I always set with powder and I just love the finish I get. Moving on to wear, it wears beautifully. I don't get as oily as I usually do and in fact, I think it looks better the longer I have it on. However, I have a very dry chin area and ALL foundations tend to emphasize the dryness there and this is no exception. I don't think people with dry skin would like this foundation. I usually get oily during the day, but didn’t use blotting papers or powder because I preferred the more natural look after some oil came through the foundation. It’s a product I would use sometimes if I want to do a full face of makeup, but likely not in this shade. Go for it if you love matte finish foundations but don’t want the full coverage that most of them have.

Actually Blurs Pores!

I was sent this product by Nyx for my honest review and I've enjoyed using it. It's a great everyday foundation that's perfect for a no makeup makeup look and buildable if you require a bit more coverage.This isn't a medium coverage foundation straight out the tube, it's more light coverage that can be built up to medium without looking cakey or uneven. A damp blending sponge is good for if you're building up the coverage, it does take time to lay down and blend out the product, but the finish is flawless and it's the best way of applying more than one layer (just let the first layer dry down). Avoid using your fingers as I found it just moved the product around and the blending was patchy.This dries down matte (does take longer with multiple layers), but not in a flat lifeless way.It left my skin evened out but still looking like skin and the blurring effect is actually real for once. The product filled my pores and made them appear non-existant without me having to concentrate on specifically blending that area.The longevity isn't bad, this lasted about 4 hours before my oils showed through (I have very oily skin) and the foundation didn't separate or move. It's easily fixed with some light blotting and face powder (still looks good afterwards).The only downside (hence 4 stars instead of 5), is that it's not transfer proof in any way. It's not advertised as transfer proof, but I expect any foundation that dries down to self set enough that it doesn't remove itself with the lightest touch. You have to at least lightly powder it otherwise it will just wipe off and you'll be left with bald spots and foundation on eveything.That aside this is definitly a product I'd purchase when it runs out.

Beautiful Skin Tint

I was kindly gifted the Bare With Me Blur Skin Tint in the shade 04 Light Neutral in exchange for my honest review. Firstly I love the packaging. it is very travel friendly and the fact it's a squeeze bottle means you have more control over how much product you use so none goes to waste. It applies beautifully with a sponge, brush and with your fingers so it's totally up to what your preference is. It provides light to medium coverage depending on how much you use. I love the fact that it has a matte finish as it means I didn't need to set my base. I only set my under eye concealer as my undereyes crease if I don't set them. Lightest Shade Pale Isn't Ultra Pale

I have normal leaning dry skin type and I love this foundation! For my skin it does everything it claims. It looks smoothing and blurring and gives me a soft matte finish. I can change the finish with whatever skin care or primer I use under it. If I want a more natural or satin finish, I use hydrating and glowy products under it. I just read the previous review complaining about the shade Pale being too pale for them. They have a choice to buy a deeper shade that matches them, but I don't have a choice to buy a lighter shade. They don't realize they can easily choose the next deeper shade. They think they are pale but don't consider us that are truly ultra pale or people with albinism. We buy foundation too and we only have the lightest shade to pick. Very strange to complain about the lightest shade being too light when they have twenty or thirty other shades to choose from.

It evens out my skin tone beautifully giving the appearance of perfect natural skin, it looks like my skin but better. It covers redness very well including acne which you can still see but it is minimised and if you want to completely cover it you can use concealer and you don’t lose the natural perfect skin look. I like that it doesn’t cover every imperfection as it looks more realistic and like real skin, even with the light redness through it still looks incredible and helps me embrace my natural skin! It lasts incredibly well throughout the day on my combination skin, with some oiliness but a lot less than any other product I own and I am prone to becoming extremely oily! Im very impressed with the longevity and how good it looks, no exaggeration on imperfections just smoothed over beautiful healthy looking skin. It works well with other cream products like blush, highlight and contour without either disrupting the other. It also works perfectly with powder, no cakiness or separation. I highly recommend this!

On the fence

I’m really on the fence about this foundation. The first day I used it I was blown away by how blurred my skin looked, definitely good coverage and looked fab when I finished my make up. Wanted to give it the test if time and waited until the end of the day. I noticed it has started to highlight my dry skin around my nose which does happen with other foundations so wanted to give it another couple of days. Second day I used it and I noticed by the end of the day it had highlighted my dry patches even more and then some. Tried a third day and it strangely started highlighting creases in my skin or where parts of my skin got a bit oily started creating lines which was very odd to me. As soon as this product came to the UK I had my eye on it.When applying the foundation I noticed I only had to use a small amount to have covered large amounts of my face. I use a face brush to blend in my foundation rather than a sponge and especially with this foundation that technique is effective as it helps to add to the blurring effect.My other makeup products that I applied on top- Concealer, bronzer. The finish was a matte finish so great for normal, combination and oily skin like myself.I have spots, red patches and some enlarged pores in certain areas on my face quite often and this blurring formula provides a airbrushed look to the face.Having oily skin, foundations often melt away quickly however I was able to wear this all day for several hours and it still stayed on my face, which I was really impressed with. It was also very breathable which I enjoyed!Ingredients such as matcha, glycerin and niacinamide all contribute to the smooth finish.It’s vegan and cruelty free too.I highly recommend this product!
