So, when it comes to makeup I've never been big on blush. Years ago I used it occasionally (no idea what I was doing btw), but mostly I stuck with bronzer on my cheeks. After recieving this product l, I was a little intimidated at first. I thought, "oh no, I'm horrible with blush and contouring... this isnt going to be good!" I was wrong! On the very first day I used my NYX blush wonder stick I got pretty decent results, and after a couple of applications, I think it looks really good! Here are my thoughts: The shade seemed a little deep at first for my post-winter skin tone, and immediately after applying to the lines on my high high points/appes/temples as the instructions and how-to pictures on the box described, I realized that this formula is VERY pigmented. The formula is super smooth and creamy and glides on like a dream, which is probably at least partly because of the hyaluronic acid in it. Also, as long as you don't wait too long before blending it out, it blends really well too. And as for the coral/deep peach shade being too deep? With a little extra blending I actually love the shade - it works really well with my somewhat olive, light to medium skin tone. I also like that the stick itself is double-ended. It just gives you more ways to use it. You can stick with just one shade or the other, OR you can use the darker shade on the apples of your cheeks and temples and the lighter shade on your high points (sort of like a contour stick). After trying each way I think I like using both shades best, as it offers the most definition, in my opinion. After using it several times on several different makeup bases, I noticed that what you are wearing underneath this blush is going to make a huge difference in how it applies. For example, when I've applied this directly to un-prepped skin with no makeup base, it doesn't blend well. Its a little better on a matte foundation/concealer base, especially if I used a thick moisturizer or primer first, but I think this formula works BEST on top of a good hydrating moisturizer/primer and natural or dewy finish foundation - it blends out SO MUCH better. Finally, this isn't a blush you can let sit awhile before blending it out. You really want to start blending immediately, because it can start to dry out a little and set of you don't (again, especially on top of a matte foundation). Finally, in terms of staying power, this blush is pretty good. I haven't tried getting an entire full day out of it, but it has lasted a good 6-7 hours multiple times, and it might last longer, I just haven't tried it yet. Overall, I really like this blush stick. For me it applies pretty easily, looks really good, and feels really nice on the skin. I really think it could work for anyone, but I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it to makeup-beginners like myself because it really is easy to work with. Also, I really like that the box itself has a couple of pictures of exactly how to apply this blush. I'd also recommend this product to anyone who would like the convenience of having two creamy blush shades in one blush stick, and offer just a tad bit of extra definition when used together. I also love the fact that, as with all NYX products, this is cruelty-free!!!

Bring Back Previous Blend/Formulas-No Glitter

I, too, have spent a lot of money, time, and exchanges trying to replace my Wonder Stick, Dual End Face Shaping Stick. I have used this product for a few years, now. Thought, WOW, I hit the jackpot for multi-purpose base makeup. Great for blemish touchup, highlight, contouring, and 100% replaced my foundation. Perfect blend of the 2 end colors. Now, I can't find the same product. I thought well there's apparently 2 different lines and my store isn't carrying the original, only this shimmer, glitter, shiny one. I find it horrible for my skin tone. The light end shines no matter how I blend it. Even through a light touch of my pressed powder compact. I've tried 3 different color combos & can not find my go to, please bring back the "flat" shades! Contour novice's BFF

I really truly had no idea where to start with contouring. I'm white as a ghost so I figured I would try this in "Universal Light" - now it's a staple in my makeup bag anytime I need to quickly level up my look. It's helped me find other contouring products too by giving me something for shade matching. I will say I primarily use the contour side as I'm obsessed with Ofra highlighters and tend to use them almost exclusively - but again, if I'm in a rush, this is a perfect solution. Since I don't wear foundation really (I'm *very* blessed with my skin), I can get a pretty flawless look if I throw this in my purse with concealer (undereyes + spot coverage), pink lipstick (lips + cheeks), eyeliner, and mascara. Please corporate overlords I am begging you on my knees, bring the old one back.The old wonder stick was my holy grail, I loved it so much, the shade light medium was perfect, it had an amazing texture, beautiful cool shades and a great price. Shimmer is the all-eating plague consuming the makeup world, your old wonder stick was the bomb, and now I find out that you didn't just change the packaging-but the shades, making the contour warm-toned (there is enough orange contours out there! You were the chosen one!) and the highlight shimmer. I used this for cosplay to give myself a completely new bone structure-now I'd just look like a christmas ornament.Please, bring the old one back, I am Desperate.

Late to the Convo

I purchased 01-Fair after returning my $32 fenty beauty highlight stick in purrrl. I was hoping for a natural none shimmery highlighter but the FB one just didn’t show up on my skin. Decided for a cheaper option, and didn’t realize wonderstick also comes with contour. I’m not huge into contour, but tried a little with the highlighter and it looks great on my fair skin. Not sure why others are complaining about the new formula, perhaps they need to lay off the makeup, because for a minimal natural makeup look, this stuff goes on smoothly and suits skin tone well. Highlighter (again, using 01-fair) is not shiny or too shimmery. Thank you

Misleading- Buyer Beware!

I've loved my original Fair contour sticks from Nyx fot years. Recently purchased the same product only to find the color is completely different on both ends. This "contour" shade looks terrible on fair skin as a contour. Should be advertized as a bronzer or at the very least being transparent about the fact that the colors have changed quite a bit. This is the second time I've purchased the Fair contour stick in hopes that the first time I recieved a totally new color was a fluke. Alas, they changed the formula and the color and didn't mark the listing anywhere. Not for cool toned complexions as they lead you to believe, unfortunately. It's a shame because the old color was perfect for my skin.

Please, just sell the formulas that work

I don’t understand why NYX keep changing their greatest, trendiest, highest money makers with terrible formulas and changing shades. I was excited to try this stick, but I was thoroughly disappointed at the super glittery highlighter in the shade Light bc it is sooo yellow. When it’s a cool toned contour stick, or at least it used to be. I haven’t even tried the contour side but these other reviews make me disappointed to know it’s not as cool-toned flesh friendly as I would have expected. Every contour on the market is orange! Do something else! Stop changing all these products that people actually buy. Stop reinventing the wheel.

Why is it when cosmetic manufactures have a winning product that gets rave reviews and is a best seller do they have to screw it up and change the formula and or shades???Do you know how hard it is to find a contour shade that works for fair skin?? Do you care?? I finally found the best shade for my fair skin that worked without looking like I had mud on my face. It blended great. But now when I am about out of my favorite product I find that you have discontinued the original.I am 68 yrs old and I know from past experience that it is very unlikely that you will bring the original back. So once again I will have to find something that might work through trial and error and spending too much money.
