Oakley Sutro Sunglasses Matte Olive / Prizm Road Black

I was looking for a lightweight pair of sunglasses I could wear for all outdoor running. These are amazing. No bounce, and the frames stay pretty set on my face. I might make 1-2 small adjustments per mile, and that’s mostly due to a hat pushing them around. Rubber grips (like on the nose) on the back of the arms would be a nice addition and really keep them in place, but no complaints as they are right now. I was a little hesitant the first time I picked them up and felt how light they were, but the quality is amazing and I almost forget that I’m wearing them. I have been waiting for Oakley to put the Photochromic Lens on the Sutro model ever since I tried them on a pair of Jawbreakers. This type of lens will tint darker and darker the more sun hits the lens. This is an amazing feature if you like doing any outdoor activities where lighting can change. Personally I use them mainly for cycling and backpacking. With cycling if I do an extended evening ride I don’t have to take my sunglasses of when it starts to get darker and risk getting bugs in my eyes. And with backpacking I love that I dont need to take them on an off when going in and out of areas with/without tree coverage. Love these sunglasses. Yes they are big, however, if you have a medium to large size head they are perfect. The prism road jade lens is a good all around lens, just slightly darker than the regular prism road. I've used them for casual purposes, as well as daytime road cycling, and all is good. They have a bit of a mirrored finish/ look. As for the gray ink frame, they are the reason I choose this particular pair of sunglasses. They are translucent, with a charcoal/smoke colour mixed in. If you have a smaller head, and are concerned about the size, just go with the Sutro S. Know however that the "S" doesn't appear to come in grey ink.
