OGX Extra Strength Damage Remedy Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo 385ml

My hair was feeling super dry and I picked this up hoping for a boost of health and hydration for my hair. It’s fine. I love the smell. My hair looked decent after using. It did feel a bit more hydrated. Can’t say that it’s amazing. After several uses I switched to something different because 1) it didn’t impress me that much and 2) the bottles need a new design. The product becomes hard to squeeze out about halfway through and with the shape of the lid, it’s not like you can flip it upside down and leave it to get the product to the top. Won’t buy again simply because the packaging irritates me. I think the product probably delivers, simply not amazing enough to keep me coming back.

Started using this recently because I can't afford high end shampoo anymore. I chose it because it's sulfate free which is a must for people like myself who dye their hair bright colours. At first it made my hair dry but the second time I used it, it actually made my hair feel super soft. It smells amazing, like a mixture between vanilla and coconut. The scent does linger which I don't mind. I only wash my hair once or twice a week so I'm hoping because it's sulfate free that I doesn't strip my hair of colour. Might update this review in a few weeks of using it. Overall I am happy with it and its decently priced. I got it on special at chemist warehouse.

What I did not like about this product is that it takes so much to wash my wash my hair. I have to add two quarter amounts to cover my hair. I also don't like that it doesn't wash my hair thoroughly when I apply the coconut miracle oil on my hair it leaves my hair feeling very thick and dirty it doesn't feel like it's penetrating my hair and I have to shampoo my hair twice and it just uses a lot of product in order to get the coverage that I need. I also feel like the product doesn't have a lot of scent to it. I just think that this product is not very well made. Do not use this product, Have lots of negative stuff to say about this company and products but going to keep it short and simple. I had over two bags full of hair loss but only show one in picture. If I could give zero stars I would. Before my hair was very long and pretty healthy. Now it’s thin and you can see through it. I only used this shampoo and conditioner set for two weeks or less when I noticed My hair started thinning out and falling out when brushing it or even barely touching it. I’ve been on the road to hair recovery for a while now thank gosh my hair is growing back with better products vitamins. I even went to the doctor twice for lab testing and etc. nothing was wrong with me. it was proven the shampoo and conditioner set. do not recommend ogx.

I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that would help keep my hair hydrated and looking healthy after bleaching it months ago from bleaching all over to going all blue. Best damaged and strengthing hair shampoo

I have tried lots to help my thick,frizzy,dry,very long hair but having used tgis once and with the conditioner and penertrating serum i have to say my hair needed that extra strength formula inbetwwen my regular shampooing to look after my roots,bootom lengths. I use this along with the conditioner and serum twice a week to give my hair a pamper that really takes care if my hair problems. As my hairs long i have yo look after it alot more to stop it from breaking and the maintenance can be tiring. To use a shampoo that lathers well i leave it on a little longer than normal then you can smell the scent. Then i wash it with luke warm water. Once i have squeezed the wayer out out i then use the partner conditioner which is so creamy and thick all over my hair. Then i wash with a wet de tangling brush and immediately i smell coconut scent and my hair smells it. My hair is so nice and soft and the ends have had a does of healthy medicine. Once towel dried i use the partner serum which i had to use a bit more as my hair is very thick and long and need of miracle to lock i the moisture. Then once dried i used a little bit more to helptame my ftizz as i have alot of frizz. My hair is hard work but to look after my hair int he long run i do spend extra time each week using different products to give my hair the panper it needs. Remember if you spend alot of tine caring for your body and fsce you should also csre for your hair a d scalp too and these products does just that. I was definitely surprised by the amount i used was little than i normally use i tend to go through all the bottles of serums ans conditioner in one use. Bleached hair for a whole year, this def works!!!

I got this shampoo and conditioner a month ago to repair extremely damaged ends due to bleaching my hair to dye my hair which I have done a lot lately. 2020 was my year of different hair colors and with bleaching it in between to achieve great colors. Well, obviously I knew in the process of that happening my hair was getting horribly damaged. I couldnt find the right shampoo and conditioner to help my damaged hair until I came across this set. I have been using it for a month now and I have noticed my hair going from damaged to healthy and stronger. Added bonus of it being soft and smelling great! I did do an extra step and after showering. I took a tip from my sister who told me to take a little bit of the conditioner (less than a dime size depending on area) run a little warm water over it and work into a light lather in hands and add into area most needed. I always let my hair air dry and I noticed a change in my hair within 2 weeks of using this shampoo and conditioner and couldnt be happier! Love how the scent is light, but still noticeable enough. Will use a different shampoo and conditioner to help grow hair though. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has bleached their hair countless times and want to get back to beautiful hair again.

Made my hair frizzy and dry.

After shampooing and conditioning, and letting it air dry, I noticed that my hair became more frizzy than before. I assumed that I didn't condition well so the next day I used the condition only. Left it for 1-2 minutes and let it dry as usual. But it was still frizzy. The morning after my hair was tangled and frizzy. After a bad hair day, I changed shampoo and conditioner and got my hair back. I did not expect such results since Ogx uses all-natural ingredients. But for me personally, this combo did not work for me. However, there are other people who actually like this product. Plesasntly surpsrised!

I used this shampoo for the first time with my daughter's curly hair. It moisturized and detangled her natural curls and made combing her hair a breeze. I've never used this brand before but had heard it was amazing and at a great price. I was surprised and very pleased at how well this worked. I grabbed the last one on the shelf and it's a telling sign of how well it works. I'll defintely go back for more!
