OGX Extra Strength Refreshing Scalp + Teatree Mint Shampoo, 13 oz

This is the best shampoo for summer (or, if like me, peppermint on your head and in your shower helps with your headaches). I have a really dry scalp, and it seems to be helping with the flakes and the itching, though I don't know if I'd be better off with a medicated shampoo. But this with a rubber scalp brush feels nice and tingly and soothing, so I'm going to keep using it. The price is right and I like how it smells, so I'm in no hurry to replace it. I do need a strong conditioner to keep my 3B/C hair from frizzing like mad, but that's true with most shampoos for me. I wouldn't recommend it for any hair pattern tighter than mine, especially not if you wear your hair longer. That's my only real complaint.

I absolutely love this product because it leaves my hair and scalp feeling so clean and refreshed. Not many shampoos leave your scalp feeling like it’s breathing and incredibly clean but this one does exactly that! The smell is also amazing - a nice clean peppermint smell. Only downside for me is that the shampoo gets a very weird gel like texture once you reach the bottom of the bottle. I end up having to throw it away with a lot of product left because when it reaches that gel like consistency, it doesn’t wash my hair the same way. Other than that, it is one of my favorite shampoos and I recommend it to others.

I have yet to try the Extra Strength tea Tree and Mint shampoo so I decided that this is what I will purchase. My first use I applied the Shampoo via the instructions on the bottle. The moment I started the work the shampoo throughout my hair and into my scalp I instantaneously felt my whole body come alive. Literally from my head to my toes. The smell was so Amazing. The Shampoo contains Tea Tree oil which helps invigorate your scalp for a healthy feel and look. The next scent is from the Mint which helps to give your hair a very deep clean. As I continue to wash my hair I started feel this amazing tingle with a little bit of heat. The reason for that feeling is due to the shampoo containing Witch Hazel which washes away all and any buildup your hair and scalp have making sure to nourish your scalp getting rid of itchiness,dryness and flakes. The other scents come from Peppermint and Iced vanilla. So not only will this shampoo leave your hair and scalp extremely clean but it will smell great as well. This Shampoo is a little harsh so I don't suggest those with coarse hair using it OGX Tea tree Mint Shampoo is Parabens, Phthalates, sulfates and dye free. I recommend that if you looking for a Shampoo that deep cleans, smells great, eliminates dry itchy flaky skin leaving your hair smooth, soft and silky then OGX Extra Strength Tea Tree Mint Shampoo is the choice you should consider. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I purchased this today and washed my hair. I was hoping it was like the Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo but it's not. It is kind of but the Paul Mitchell cleans better and it also feels better on the scalp. I washed my hair 2 times with this shampoo and it cleans but just not as good at cleaning my scalp like the Paul Mitchell. I would say don't waste your money to try this go for the Paul Mitchell. If you have a sensitive scalp then this would be perfect for you but I love the cooling that the Paul Mitchell gives while it's deep cleaning my hair and scalp. I won't use this every wash because it is a more cleansing shampoo compared to other shampoo that I use. I will only use this 1 time a week or so just to get rid of extra build. I was disappointed in this item

this is a really good shampoo! it does make ur scalp feel tingly from the tea tree but once washed off it just leaves a nice cooling effect. this is the only shampoo I find myself not needing a ton of as the consistency is very easily worked through my hair. I will say the scent could clash with alot of stuff so stay weary of that. overall this is a very nice, affordable shampoo, (atleast for me with mostly straight, fine hair)

I used to use this brand pretty exclusively. I liked the scents of the product and it seemed to cleanse my hair nicely. I liked it until I noticed that my hair was drastically thinner compared to the start of me using their products. I stopped immediately and within months my hairs started growing back and filling back in. I worked in the beauty industry at the time and had many friends that used their products and noticed the exact same issue with hair loss. It’s not worth it. Do not use these products. There’s so many better products out on the market in this price range.

Best Shampoo Ever

I have a problem scalp and used to use prescription shampoo. I don’t even need it anymore with this. I shampoo in the bath and leave to sit in my hair until I get out. No more itchy scalp and it’s great that it’s sulfate-free. When I switched to sulfate-free shampoos I noticed that my hair is less frizzy, like a crinkled look when you look at the strands. There was a big difference when I forgot my shampoo and used sulfates just one time. Please keep making! It smells good to me too.

Sulfate Free Tingles!

Refreshing! This has a little tingle and a great minty scent. Love It! I've used OGX products exclusively for years due to being sulfates sensitive. This shampoo is my Go To on a daily basis, with occasional use of the moisturizing Tea Tree shampoo. I'm a big believer in tea tree oil for skin health. If you have sensitive skin you may want to try it!

VERY HAPPY!!!

I have a very itchy scalp and have bought lots of different shampoos and some conditioners over the past year. The shampoo that has worked the best for me out of all the name brands is the OGX Extra Strength Teatree Mint Shampoo.I washed my hair with it and my scalp is clean and not itchy 2 days after I washed. I am happy I tried this product. The mint smells light and not overpowering. I absolutely love it and found the shampoo I will use all the time.

works great without medication for scalp problem

Shampoo is expensive, but it it works very well without medication for my daughter's scalp which does not shed old skin cells well. She has tried dandruff shampoos, other teas tree oil shampoos, and medicated shampoos; but this worked the best. It also is a better value because it is in an extra large size for same price as the smaller one. I hope you continue to carry this product. It works great.
