When I initially ordered the pen, I was thrilled as a military member who has to shuffle between three writing instruments at various times throughout the day. Upon receiving this item, however, I found that the threads were stripped right out the box, and this did not allow for a proper grip of the pen as it was constantly wobbling in my hand. This also lead to trouble deploying the ink and lead mechanisms, as the pen was misaligned and would not let them properly enter or exit the body without getting stuck and needing my intervention. Overall, I am disappointed in this item and and the craftsmanship, or lack thereof. I would not recommend this item, and I regret having paid the price I did for it.

This is a terrible product. It came in with issues right out the box and it only got worse from there. The threads stripped out fully in a few days so the two halves of the pen can no longer come together, rendering it useless and unusable. I would have expected better quality for the price being charged, but this was just not the case.

I tried to return this item and no one ever got back to me. This pen came with all of the ink dry. I couldn't use it, none of the colors had any ink in them. As soon as I saw this was a terrible purchase, I tried multiple times to return it and customer service never responded. I would recommend you look into the poor quality of this pen.

I love the overall quality of this pen. It's weighted well, has a knurled grip that makes it easy to write for longer stretches of time, and is slim unlike most multi pens. My one complaint is the mechanism inside rattles pretty significantly when the pencil and pen components are all retracted. Thankfully the rattling stops when you're writing. Based on reviews on other websites, this appears to be a problem with the pen in general.
My new favourite pen. The magical multi function makes it a winner with my engineering husband and its thin crisp line and hand weight makes it a winner with me. A joy to write with and obviously beautifully crafted. Make sure to buy refills. You're going to write with this so much you'll need them.
Got this pen, and within five days, the black refill had completely dried/run out, despite my best attempts to revive it, the tip completely dried out. That being said, somehow I planned for this and ordered a blue refill as well. Both red and blue are working pretty good now, if a little dry/scratchy at times, but this can also be attributed to my messiness. Comfort and fit is great, absolutely handy. I'd say it's worth it but also order additional refills with them through Milligram, they are a bit proprietary but are cheap, and truly, no pen seems to write like OHTO Needlepoints do.
