I have used Olaplex 2 and 3 with coloring processes (DIY crib-colorist here). I have tried many expensive shampoos, and this one is BY FAR the best for my color damaged, fine hair. A tiny bit lathers the same as 3 times the quantity of other shampoos. Makes hair smoother, even on a humid day. I hope they never stop making this.

This was recommended by my hairdresser. Works wonders. After a month of use, my hair looks much better. Even my husband asked what I was using. It does not make your lost hair come back, but it bonds the existing strands and strengthens them. Price on EBay is less than salon prices.

I have tried so many shampoos and THIS IS THE BEST! It came highly recommended by my hair stylist and although I was skeptical of buying from a salon, this is seriously the best shampoo I have ever tried and I wont ever use anything else. All you need is a dime or nickel sized amount. It lathers up so nicely and smells good too!

I often skip the daily shampooing and build body by using a hair dryer at the roots. I do not get that skip-day oily feel or flatness. Olaplex 4 is a very thick product. I put a small amount in the palm of my hand and lather the roots like I'm applying mousse. Then pull the shampoo through to the ends. If, after rinsing, the ends feel dry and tangled I'll take a small amount of shampoo and start at the ends and leave it on for a minute to break down sticky hairspray, then use my fingers as a comb to release tangles. I have highlighted hair. it is thin and some what lifeless. This shampoo and conditioner have stopped the breakage. No more picking hair off my shirt. It now has that smooth look fron root to end. It is expensive but you do not use a lot. I liked it so much I purchased a second set before the first bottle was have done.
