I’ve been trying different products as I’m now over 50 and my skin has changing needs. I’ve used different brands over the years and usually use a different and far more expensive product but suddenly both of my favorite product lines from that brand have been replaced with overly priced products that I’m not keen to buy without trying so based on a friend’s suggestion I bought a vitamin C product from Olay for daytime that came with a small free sample size of the Regenerist Retinol 24 night moisturiser (this was the “free” product.The reviews were all very good except for some that seem obviously intent getting a free product. For me, this is a properly priced product given the department store brand prices that are much higher. I won’t pay what I deem ridiculous prices for face creams but compared to former products I’ve used this a bargain and the products work beautifully.The first use I applied massaging into facial skin and really enjoyed the silky texture which left my skin dewy soft and I woke up in the morning and my skin felt butter soft and not greasy at all. The small sample pot has lasted me now 5 nights and I have more to go at least another week left. My husband noticed my skins smooth and hydrated appearance and given he’s a doctor with 15 degrees of experience working alongside a dermatologist I believe him.I noticed someone said their skin peeled off? Personally moisturizer in most cases leaves a bit of product behind that seems like moist, peeling, skin and that comes at every price level in my experience and maybe this was what the other reviewer was referring to? I generally discard the product residue and move on. It generally depends on how much I’ve put on but it’s usually down to me and if I’ve exfoliated or not before putting the cream on.There are so many nice products out for my needs but for performance and price I find Olay the best option. It goes on well with other skins products and my skin is really nice in the morning. Will be checking out the other products in the line.

Dewy Plumped Up Skin

This is an excellent night cream with a non-greasy formula that is a gel-cream type. The ingredients are very effective on my skin, making it feel hydrated and bouncy after continuous use. It only takes a few days and I can really notice the difference.It's fragrance free but I think it has a lovely clean scent to it - like nothing - like a clean scent but I can notice it. It has excellent ingredients based on retinol, vitamin B3 and amino peptides which I've found very effective for my skin type - have a combination dry/aging skin. This has become my trusted daily anti-aging cream, after trying MANY products over the years, including expensive ones. It has an effective amount of retinol, so you have to use it accordingly—take a break from it if your skins gets dry or red, and then start up again (I've had to do that with all retinol products). Retinol is proven to reduce wrinkles and spots. I can't use it on my eyelids, as it's too strong, but it's keeping my face smooth and clear. This stuff works. It's very moisturizing and goes on super smoothly. I haven't experienced any pilling. I apply it at night after washing my face, and in the morning I apply a sunscreen directly over it. I hope that Olay doesn't change this forumula! Gradually improving

I've been using this for 3 weeks and felt that was a long enough time for a review. I've noticed a little bit of change, especially with the feel of my skin. It feels clear and healthy (I have dry skin but get a pimple once in a while - nothing seen in that realm for 3 weeks). I had some red spots and larger red areas that are fading. I haven't noticed any texture improvements yet. I think I messed up the process by dermaplaning one night so I think as the hairs grow back they are creating small bumps. Hopefully that will go away soon. I'm lucky not to have wrinkles so there's no change on that. The product does pill if you put on too much. But I try to put on a medium amount that will absorb in and won't pill. Leaves my skin feeling greasy

I’m 42 (well almost) and was looking for an overnight moisturizer that contains retinol. I picked up a jar of Olay after doing a bit of research online. I wanted something that would absorb into my skin and not feel heavy.I have large pores (near my nose) and normal skin. I wanted to like this product but it’s just not working for me.I apply a small amount all my face and neck. Within about 10 minutes, it feels heavy and greasy. I don’t have super oily skin either, but this just makes my skin feel greasy and gross. I’ve been using it for 2 months and haven’t noticed any differences in my skins texture (other than the greasy feeling), pores are the same size as always and it actually made me break out more than normal. Night time retinol moisturiser

I've been using the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Fragrance Free, not to be confused with the Retinol 24 Max version (which I've also used). For one, this one is not as strong on the Retinol or the Niacinamide, and minor difference, also comes in a 50g tub instead of a 48g tub. But once this tub comes out of the colourful rainbow like box, its very easy on appearance to get the two confused. The other tub has the extra lettering MAX on it which is the visible difference. The ingredients in this one are slightly different which is also reflected in the price (about $10 cheaper).The white, fragrance free cream comes in a purple plastic tub. I've been applying at night only due to the Retinol. I've had no reactions or irritations. Fragrance doesnt bother me too much, I just happened to pick this one up. I'm not sure if its available in a fragranced version. It comes in a 48g plastic purple tub with a silver twist off lid. The cream is a thick white and I have had no troubles applying every night.I've been a regular user of retinol for a while so there was no need to build up my usage. I did accidentally apply it in the morning a couple of times and did not have any extra sensitivity issues. I'm a big fan of retinol, especially lately as I grow older and a little wiser. Wow. In less than 2 weeks it has almost gotten rid of the two brown “age” spots or whatever they are. One is completely gone and the other is just barely visible. I wish I had taken before pictures. I’ve always looked young for my age, I’m 44, so I don’t have many wrinkles. I just have one fine one on my forehead, but this product has made my skin so smooth with almost no texture. My makeup goes in so much easier. I have extremely sensitive skin. Products with any scent and many without irritate my body. My eyes get really red, burn, and swell.
