Okay yall, I'm completely SHOCKED! This is THE serum! I ran out of my usual serum, so I decided to go ahead and try something new, I seen this product was not only decent priced but fragrance free, alcohol denat free, AND retinol in the top 3 ingredients, and overall has better and more beneficial ingredients in it then most others. So I decided I would give it a try, just a little info my skin is BAD when I say bad, I mean bad! It is oily, aging, very LARGE pores, acne scares, bad acne do to mask, oils, sensitivity hormones, sun spots on my nose, extemely sensitive skin! I can hardly ever find a product that 1 doesn't break me out, or 2 actually help. Since starting using this Retinol night serum. I have noticed my fine lines, crows feet and the bumps under my skin on my face start to diminish. The product says that it may cause sensitivity, And to possibly just use every other day. But I use this nightly and have had no issues. Well besides the dropper not being great and having to dip it multiple times to actually apply to my face. The smell is almost non existent. And it leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth. As with using any retinol product… wear sunscreen out doors when using this products.

First of all the box this product comes in is very appealing and it would pop off the shelf for sure if you went to look for it. I do believe Olay has a larger section of products almost anywhere so I don't think it would be too hard to find and if so ask the woman at the service desk for some help! This box has a bright metallic silver on it with a picture of the product on the front of the box. The directions are printed on the side and aren't so tiny that you can't read them. They're pretty strait forward and easy to follow.The bottle itself was beautiful as well - with a nice ivory white colored lid and royal purple colored bottle. I was very impressed. When I opened the serum I was surprised I know it mentioned scent free but this really is SCENT FREE! Most oils and lotions etc. that are scent free still carry a little bit of a scent however this stuff had none at all. The actual serum is a white color and the dropper on the inside is see through making this convenient to know how much you're getting from the bottle that isn't see through.This product is something I did a bit of research on first as there wasn't too much printed on the box. I have seen many commericals but I decided to go and read to see what made this stuff stand out from the other stuff and here is a few of the key ingredients include niacinamide, retinol, and retinyl propionate. Now if you were to look at something you normally use to wash your face they sure don't contain these products - if any of them at all. This serum is chemical free and is VERY easy and light on the skin. My boyfriend suffers from bad ecsema and I put this stuff on his face to help with; blemshes oil and lines. This stuff worked wonders on his oily face. This gave both of our combonation of oily dry skin a nice smooth and matte finish when it dried. Our skin felt fresh that night after we put it on and it also made both of our skin more soft than a babys bum! Needless to say I was beyond impressed with this product. I also suffer from blackheads and pores that you can see with the naked eye; after about a week of using this stuff those pores that were big were almost non-visable anymore. This one product was SOO incredible that I am considering going to buy the other ones because this one will work EVEN better if I use it with the other Olay Retinol nighttime products they came out with at the same time. In conclusion this Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum was amazing. Not only did it brighten mine AND my boyfriends oily very dry skin but it made our pores on our nose and chin almost on visable anymore. I have struggled with those for years. I have used everything from peel off masks to picking them at home and nothing has ever worked as good on my face or made my face as soft of fresh looking as this stuff. I'd suggest picking not only this stuff up - but the rest of the line as well!!! Super impressed and will be purchasing this stuff again!This stuff actually surprised me.

Yeah NONE of that happens with this retinoid! it's JUST AS EFFECTIVE as retinol WITHOUT all the squeezing, popping, covering, scrubbing and hiding that come with traditional retinol and so far I can say this has been completely true! no breakouts as of yet and if it hasn't happened yet, then it's not going to because my skin breaks out at the mere thought of traditional retinol...ok not quite that bad but within a day I typically break out, not with this stuff! Im really happy I got this in my first voxbox free of charge to try because I had all but given up on retinols of any kind. lastly, yes I got this for free but I am a regular consumer just like anyone else. I'm not a big shot influencer, I have no following of anykind (well my dog likes to follow me around the house and into the bathroom cuz she's a weirdo but clearly my furry little weirdo doesn't count). I have no reason to state ANY opinions about the products but my VERY OWN opinions and so with all of that out and about all willy nilly I can safely say that yes, I highly recommend this.

Absolutely luxurious night serum!!!

The definition of beauty sleep - I never used to differentiate between day and night serums, but integrating the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum into my skincare regime has been a DREAM! It is so hard to find proper, high quality retinol based products but Olay uses a a bio-available retinoid complex as well as vitamin B3 and the results speak for themselves. The serum goes on so smoothly and is lightweight and fragrance free - the texture is just perfect. I've found it visibly reduces my dark spots and hydrates the skin to give it such a smoother, brighter appearance. Highly recommend this for your evening skincare ritual!

Great retinol serum, good consistency!

A very nice creamy retinol serum! I have loved having this serum added into my nightly routine and am really noticing the positive effects of retinol on my skin. This serum a very nice texture and consistency and doesn’t feel overly oily like other retinol serums I have tried in the past. It definitely works well with the Olay Retinol moisturiser each evening before bed. I have noticed that my skin is a lot smoother over the last 4 weeks of using it and that my skin is adapting well to using retinol. I would like to highlight that it is worthwhile being careful/using this product sparingly as retinol can cause some dry patches and I did find that at the beginning my skin needed to get used to the product and I had some dry patches under my eyes. Since I am past that threshold of age where I have to begin with the prevention of wrinkles and deal with smoothing and plumping of the skin, this is a great time to introduce a Retinol product and Olay's Retinol 24 Max was just the right product to begin this with. One of the pros is that it is a nighttime serum, that is when it Retinols are suggested to be used. I used it after cleansing my skin and before moisturizing, overnight. The product info suggested less is more, Ummm... not with that absorption rate. Either you take a little more product or work it super fast, it's a struggle. Once that is done, moisturize and off to bed. In the morning, no visible results, but then again, it's not magic. I used it for around 2 weeks before writing this review and I haven't noticed any significant changes besides moisturized skin, but then again, it might take time to take effect and I don't have any visible wrinkles. As for the claim of brightening the skin, unfortunately, not for my skin type perhaps. Nonetheless, did use SPF in the daytime as indicated in the info as well. In conclusion, not the product for me. No visible results in 2 weeks, perhaps have to give it a longer period of time.

Product good. Packaging bad.

The product itself is fine and functional but the packaging is bad enough that I will go back to using other brands. The “dropper” is essentially non functional and I end up just using it as a smear stick to get it on my face. There is always excess product that gets gooped up in the ridges of the jar top and gets wasted. In my opinion, it also takes more product per application then other similar retinols. If the packaging was different, I would consider repurchasing, but it is enough of a daily nuisance that I will switch to other products.

You will LOVE the look of your skin!

I am 60 years old, with good skin, but this Olay serum gave me GREAT skin. I have never used a serum before so I was not expecting such terrific results from the very first application. I woke up with firmer, plumped skin. Wrinkles under my eyes were really improved. My whole face had a lovely glow that amazed me. I never tried a serum before because I thought it was just a hyped-up product and a waste of your money. Now I am a believer. I have used this product for 9 days and I LOVE the look of my skin! This product will be a permanent item in my beauty regimen.
