It is an amazing multi beneficial brightening moisturizer that also preps the skin before makeup application like a face primer and brightening face moisturizer all in one! So far, I really love using this moisturizer in the morning as part of my skincare routine because it has been brightening my dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It’s also great because even though it’s thick and incredibly hydrating, it’s not heavy, making it perfect for dry but acne-prone skin. This product has completely changed how I view peptides and I will continue to repurchase. It’s pricier, but lasts a long time! If you’ve had your eyes on this, just grab it! Broke out like crazy

I bought this for winter based on all the good reviews. But this one is really mind blowing for how bad a cream can be.After one week of use, I started to have breakouts and I thought it might be due to PMS as I have never used a skincare that would cause breakouts like that. But after a month of use, the breakouts continued, so I stopped using all skincare except for my usual toner and this cream. Unfortunately, the breakouts continued! Every morning I would find a few new blemishes on my face which was absolutely depressing. The more I use this cream, the more I hate it.First, it cause acnes. I have combination skin so acnes sometimes grow on the T-zone. This product really does instantly brighten my skin and at age 64, it made my skin look glowy without making it look greasy or over highlighted. I usually hate products that contain fragrance but I love the light citrus scent in this moisturizer. I have sensitive skin, redness in areas and uneven tone, fine lines and occasional breakouts. Working from home over the past 4 years, I wear less makeup and have been playing with more skincare than cosmetics, so I was excited to try the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright+ Instant Glow Moisturizer. I used it after cleansing, morning and evening and did not combine it with toners or serums, to really see what it could do. Right away I noticed than the appearance of the finer lines were reduced and my under eye area was de puffed. My sensitivity was not at all triggered. The texture of the cream is thicker than a water type and can be felt all day if you touch your cheek, but does not feel or appear greasy or heavy. I have not had breakouts or any spots from using the product. I did try it today with foundation just to see if it worked as a primer and I think it worked very well. I was able to apply and blend easily and the finish was skin like. The only downside is that it a bit thicker than I would like for the eye contour area, but this did mean it did not run into my eyes and sting as some others do. Overall this is an effective product that combines the benefits of vitamin C and niacinamide serums, moisturizing cream and primer into one step!
