The provided tape is very strong but can be removed from the mount cleanly if you prefer to use your own mounting tape. Plasterboard: To mount on painted plasterboard you can use a screw or other commercially available mounting tape designed for painted plasterboard. Pleaser take care when screwing it in as over tightening it can split the mount. It is possible to use the tape on plasterboard but I can not guarantee you will be able to remove it cleanly without damaging paint work.
