After much research, I found this model which had to replace a faulty one without altering anything else. There were no other such units to fit my requirements. Its a nice unit. Instructions to change the fascia is poor and I had to search for other buyer's reviews to obtain the information. Installing the unit on the wall should be much easier to install it under a shelf as you have to prepare a template so you can drill the appropriate holes from the top of the shelf.

I needed to replace a disgusting 10 year old range hood with a front recirculating hood instead. Expecting to spend a fortune , but I found this and it works amazingly well. I had my electrician install it so I can't comment on ease of installation. I WILL Say however if you wish to use the other bar included thats shorter, intalling that is a nightmare. Very fiddly. Otherwise it seemed to pose no major issue to my electrician. The fan is very powerful and I hardly have to use the 2nd fan setting at all. Just remember to clean the filters every month which are dishwasher safe to keep it clean and fucntioning. There are charcoal filters that need replacing every 3 months or so which aren't to expensive. If you live in an apartment you need this type of fan otherwise you're throwing all that oil and grease onto your ceiling. I have lived in a few apartments. It might be a symptom of dirty filters but as a general rule. All the range hoods struggle to deal with the smoke when cooking with say a fatty piece of meat. So far this range is dealing with it well and the charcoal filters seem easy to replace. The lights are bright, but are a little cold in colour. It would be nice to be able to warm up the lights in this model

I replaced an Westinghouse unit (that needed serious cleaning) and was surprised to find out that it is EXACTLY the same size an so easy to do. That LED lighting is stunning and it performs well. This quality unit is a surprising find in today's word reticulated or not! Change the fascia as required but you do have to ring the help line (the Help Line works) as this isn't shown in the instructions. It is actually harder to change the stainless fascia than it is to install the whole unit. I like it lots.
Had to replace our 22 year old rangehood so could only be 60cm unless we redesigned the kitchen. This one fits perfectly and works well. Especially pleased with the easy to remove filters so they can be cleaned more frequently. And the lights are much better than in our old one. Hopefully this one will last as long as it is the same brand!
We replaced 15 years old Blanco Rangehood. Easy to install in the same gap. Good suction. Great light.
This product sure does make a substantial noise when operated but the suction itself is nowhere near as good. It may look sleek and modern if you are in the 1980s. For a cook like me who often prepare strong-smelled culinary dishes, Id go for the more expensive brands. I chose this was because it fits the space that I currently have. I didnt have many choices.

I was recommended to buy this as a replacement for the prior omega 60cm range hood. The old version- sensibly designed- had the power lead at the top of the unit so that the hood would sit flush against the wall. This one - maybe the designer was having a bad day - is on the back of the unit resulting in a gap between the wall and the unit - somewhere for grease to collect and bugs to nest. It is cheaply made so that if you unscrew the unit from the cabinets, the soft metal of the range hood loses it shape and stretches. Luckily this was purchased as a short term solution as I dont believe it will last the distance
When purchasing this product online I was guaranteed by telephone, of a complimentary Carbon Filter would be included in the total price.Although you did not have any in stock at time of purchase,, a man on the telephone said he would notify me when they became available ( I do not mean the normal aluminium filters) but the carbon filter for recirculating.
