Omron HEM6232T Bluetooth Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

Wrist based cuff works well on my weird body, upper arm auto pressure cuffs tend to cut off my circulation and make my heart wig out. As such, this actually works better for me than the ones in the hospital.The integration with the smartphone app is a wee bit rinky-dink but does what it says it does perfectly well. Two users can easily track their measurements separately and sync their data to separate phones, you just have to set a physical switch on the device to change users.

The price is good, but after going to my GP to get my blood pressure checked. I took the device in to show the GP, we discovered that the device is not very accurate compared to the medical devices. I do not recommend this device.

A great advance

After years using standard blood pressure monitors, this is a great advance. Extremely easy to use, light and compact, and interfaces seamlessly with my android phone so i have an easy record for health professionals. If you are used to using home monitoring it's pretty intuitive - if not, there are detailed instructions. Best of all the wrist cuff means there's no need to peel off layers of clothing in winter.

Compact and easy to use blood pressure monitor

It’s compact enough to pop in a handbag and loads the information into an app on my iPhone so I can show my doctor my blood pressure diary. Simple to use and fit to my wrist

Neat concept, but totally inaccurate and useless

Neat idea, but not even close to accurate. So inaccurate that the device is not worth having.Constantly reads so low as to indicate should be dead.Readings taken with this device (whilst carefully following the instructions) are not remotely close to readings taken simultaneously with an Omron cuff type monitor (HEM-7121).Neither does it reflect the readings from my doctors surgery's unit either.This is a toy and a gimmick. Don't waste your hard earned on this garbage. Even my Samsung watches estimation of blood pressure reading is more accurate than this.Disappointing effort Omron

Fantastic BP device. Easy to use. Quiet, quick and simple, with all the basic information plus lots of extras. Well worth the price.

Omron HEM-6232T Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

A small portabe device in a hard case, easy to carry around. Especially useful while traveling. No connecting tubes or wires. It's just one piece that wraps around the wrist and does a great job. The unit is accurate too compared with the traditional arm cuff type.

Perfect

A fantastic product, definitely worth the extra money for the bluetooth connectivity and mobile application. I just use it once in the morning and once at night. The monitor automatically sends the info to the app on my phone which stores the result in a very simple spread sheet. When I see my doctor I just print a spreadsheet with all the results, it calculates all the averages ect. Very happy.

I bought this as a second unit and for travel. i had a desktop Omron BT unit but wanted a smaller unit for use on the go. Came with a hard clamshell case which I appreciated (the large unit had a soft case). Easy to use. Note however that the Omron app will not sync two units as a single source eg day 1-5 one one unit day 6-10 on another and then present readings as day 1-10. I think that’s a issue for the app. The unit itself though is great; I have noted the readings from one compared to the other are consistently different so think of this in terms of use. Don’t use for only a day or so and not note the different unit as this variation could be misread as a user (heart) variation as vs an issue between the two diff monitors. Works well, but......

This item works well and is easy to use however, why isnt the screen backlit? It is terribly hard to read. A backlit screen would make this an awesome product!
