I do a lot of stuff on a daily basis, so i need to make sure i have enough coffee, energy drinks. I feel fatique throughout the days & energy drinks really gives me a boost. I recently started getting back into exercising and decided to try this before my morning run. I drank it as instructed about 30 mins or so before my workout. The watermelon flavor was good and really refreshing. I didn’t feel anything initially but about 20-30 mins into my run I noticed I had a huge burst of energy. Most times I’m getting tired around that time but felt very energized and was able to workout and exercise for longer. It does have caffeine which I’m not a huge fan of since I am a coffee drinker. I didn’t drink coffee on the day I drank this drink as I didn’t want to be too wired. I did notice after the workout that I wasn’t as sore as I am usually. I do feel this drink helped with that. I normally stick to a very specific stack of supplements I use to support performance in the gym, but I was looking to branch out and try something new that I can drink during my workout instead of just water, and decided to give this a try. I try to stay away from sugar as much as possible so I really like the fact this is a sugar free drink that still is pretty good taste wise. Watermelon flavor is hard to do well, but this wasn't too bad. I use a preworkout that gives me a good boost to get started and combining with this during my workout I did notice there was a difference in my sustained energy level. Amino acids are important for neurotransmitters function. I like the overall idea of this product. It has seven amino acids which is a big plus. It has zero sugar and only 5 calories per serving which makes it good for a keto or low calorie diet. The 100mg of caffeine is from natural sources which I love because it doesn’t give me a jittery feeling like some energy products do. Basically it’s a good product for those who need a quick pick me up or for recovery after a workout. My only issue is the taste. The strawberry was just too overly sweet for me to enjoy. I had to drink it in small amounts because it was too much for me. I am open to trying other flavors and hope those will be better for my palette.
I so happened to give this a go while I'm in the peak of my marathon training. The week I decided to try this I had a 17 miles long run scheduled.
