The second-generation of the podium-topping, record-breaking shoe loved by elite athletes. Now refined with their input and enhanced with Helion superfoam for the smoothest of rides, softest of landings and most explosive of take-offs. More comfort, more kick, more speed. 18 adaptive Cloud elements and Helion superfoam combine with the re-engineered Speedboard to turn impact into acceleration. The curved heel unit means better hold, durability and comfort. Strategic taping and a new lacing configuration offer sure-footed freedom and support for high-speed goals. The Swiss-engineered mesh upper is primed for race pace. Lightweight and reinforced to support tired feet, with zoned ventilation to let air flow through. An elastic strap keeps laces out of the way, and a new rubber compound in an advanced traction pattern offers superior grip on wet roads.

Comfortable and light (and looks good too!)

i bought these running shoes about 6 weeks ago and have used them every other day. Not having been a serious runner i have never invested in decent shoes in the past.
The first thing i noticed was the lightness of the shoe. i do not feel the shoe when i am wearing them. The sizing is very good (it was a concern as i purchased these on-line
based on reviews), i have seen numerous negative reviews about the laces. They are "dainty" but in my opinion these seem to be of good quality and very good to tie. Very
happy with my purchase

This is my second pair of the new cloudflows. I think they are excellent, lightweight, neutral and not overcushioned. I run 20miles a week (32k) and weigh 90kg. I use these for
road and light grit / dirt runs from 5 - 25km. The problem that I have is that I have worn through the soles (down to the speedboard) in 700km. Which means that I will need 3
pairs to get through a year! That’s a lot of cash to outlay! So if you like them then be prepared to own a lot of them! As such I couldn’t recommend them to a friend as they
don’t have the longevity I expect from a shoe! However, I am yet to find anything that performs as well AND lasts longer!

Without doubt the best shoes I have bought in many years.Beautifully made. Excellent fit. Low rise on the achilles is really good for me.Cushioning might be a little firm for
some but it is not harsh.I hope ON do not meddle to much with later versions - its very good as is.

Good shoes, but they tear
7 August 2021
I bought these shoes 4 months ago and thought I like them a lot, they’re already tearing on the outside by the base of my pinky toes. They’re very light and comfortable. I wear them almost everyday to run and workout in, but definitely bummed about the tearing. Rocks will also get stuck in the soles very easily, FYI.... Show more

Great fit, comfortable, sole durability issue
9 August 2020
I really like this shoe, it is a welcome change from the max cushioned shoes dominating the running shoe market right now. The sizing was spot on and the ride is responsive and comfortable. The toe box is wide enough for normal to a slightly wide foot. I also really like that the upper of the shoe has some structure. The heel counter is stable and I've had no durability issues with the upper. However, after 97 miles of running I looked at the bottom of the shoe to find that the lateral edge of the right sole was completely shredded. I believe this is due to an extremely thin outsole that barely covers the pods that make up the cushioning. Once that is worn through, the foam is exposed and shreds even more. This would definitely be a 5 star shoe if the sole wasn't ... MoreI really like this shoe, it is a welcome change from the max cushioned shoes dominating the running shoe market right now. This would definitely be a 5 star shoe if the sole wasn't worn out so quickly. Some people have complained that gravel will get stuck in the sole since it's not entirely flat and while that is true, it is only mildly annoying unless you are running gravel roads every day. I'd recommend this with some reservations.... Show more

Great for long distance!
19 May 2020
Comfortable wide and tall toe box!Especially for my aerobic training, logging from 10k to 20-30-40+km are great! Feel that running in "luxury". I own the previous model and was so satisfied that just ordered the new straight away, safe choice:) the shoes are great!Comparing the two, the previous model shoelaces were unnecessarily long, these are just perfect. For those who wanna change the laces, On has now a strap in the middle of the tough to secure any long laces. The new offers more cushioning/support as the back part of the sole is wider and the channel in the middle is thicker now, however this modification added 20gr (sizeEu45) to each but is not something to worry about for such shoe. A shoe that i would recommend to anyone! Novice or experienced!... Show more

Lasted until they didn't...Excited until I wasn't
3 April 2022
I was so excited to get my first ever pair of ON branded shoes after seeing so many people wearing them and also hearing lots of good things about the company in general and especially of their comfort...I'm on my feet all day. I don't use these shoes for anything really but for everyday use and also work (Ocular Healthcare Industry)...so I would've expected them to last longer without the excessive wear that they're showing. Not even close to a year old... And the fabric is coming undone, the threads are loose and separating from binding two pieces of fabric on the shoe. And I'm just overall shocked at the fact that the cost of these shoes and the fact that they aren't used and abused as they're intended to be... Has me floored at their current state of appearance. ... MoreI was so excited to get my first ever pair of ON branded shoes after seeing so many people wearing them and also hearing lots of good things about the company in general and especially of their comfort...I'm on my feet all day. Soles made from MPA 50 concrete
20 October 2022
DO NOT buy these shoes. Yes these shoes are light, fast & fun in the beginning. But after 100km of running they feel like they’ve done 1000km. The insole is shot. You can feel those ridged pockets on the base push through into the sole of your feet & especially into the balls of your feet. To put it bluntly, you can’t wear these shoes. These are a one & done design.... Show more

Soles show wear easily
25 June 2020
This is my third pair. I have been running in On Cloudflow for about 3 years prior to purchasing these. The previous generations just seem to wear like iron. This shoe specifically has a very plush and smooth ride like the previous versions. I get complimented on their color and appearance just about every time I go out in them. My only complaint is with this version specifically. Previous versions I've gotten 18-months or more out of because this just seemed to last forever. A little over a month in these and the soles look very worn. I still On running but for what these cost I hope they get this taken care of soon. Barely a months worth of daily use and I've had to purchase another pair from a competitor.... Show more

These are the real deal
16 November 2020
As a seasoned marathoner (2:55 PR last year), I'm not in the habit of switching to new shoes brands. A friend of mine recommend ON running, so ever the skeptic, I googled reviews which were favorable enough to merit a try. These are the real deal. I've been running in them for about 3 weeks. They are incredibly light weight, comfortable but not overly cushy, supportive but not annoying structured. I had a been running in NB Fresh Foams for last several years, and these are so much a better shoe. Also, I have decently wide feet, so I can't play in Adidas' narrow runners. The Cloudflows fit perfectly but not too snugly. The toebox has room to breathe and the upper does not dig. I've done longer and shorter runs, concrete sidewalks to packed dirt, and these ONs are a ... MoreAs a seasoned marathoner (2:55 PR last year), I'm not in the habit of switching to new shoes brands.
