Despite hundreds of codes to use, this remote did not work with our TV. The Good Guys worker assured us it would be perfect but it wasnt. Couldnt return it either as it had been used. Not happy with front of house service staff either.

I purchased these remotes for my elderly mother and I have now set them up for her. But what people should be aware of is if their TV is not one of the 10 known brands listed then a special code must be used for it to function. My mother owns a good guys branded TV (GVA). I contacted the salesperson from good guys and he was very helpful and informed me that I needed to contact Oneforall to obtain a special code relating to the tv's serial number. I did just that and the person from Oneforall was very condescending and rude telling me that I hadn't fully read all of the booklets and that it would be found therein. I at first believed he was not going to give it to me so after asking him he reluctantly did. You’re wasting your money to buy this useless piece of junk. The remote advertises as “100% compatible and guaranteed to work with all brands”. However apon opening the device up it has a list of only the brands it will pair with.
I like this product's under-stated style and a sufficient number of buttons to operate a modern TV. I noticed the build quality and ergonomics seem similar or better compared to the original remotes from the major manufacturers. Because it is a Learning-Remote it offers the flexibility to program buttons for more than one device. In my case I programmed it to operate a set-top-box and also the volume control and AV selector on the TV monitor. Its much better to use than the remote that came with the my Fetch TV Set-top-box.
Says it’s 100% compatible with all smart TVs. It is not. Rang the company and they admitted it themselves. Told me to try and use other brands codes because they are similar systems but none worked at all. Am now going to be getting a refund.
Overall, it's a good remote. It took a while to synch up with the TV, as the code we needed wasn't in the book. I had to call the company to get the pairing code. The remote works overall now - it just doesn't give us the EPG on the TV. This was bought for my 91 year old mother, because the buttons were big and clear for her - which was a plus.
Pros: Simple to use. Cons: Couldn't find a mode button. My TV has an integral DVD player and is stuck in DVD mode. However, I discovered that pressing the programme up or down button, it immediately reverted to TV without any need to scroll up and down a menu.
It was extremely quick and easy to setup the remote to our 11yr old LG tv that hasn't had a remote for years. All the control buttons work and the remotes layout is very easy to navigate and well laid out. I highly recommend this product
I needed a remote for my TV and I am VERY pleased to say that this is exactly what I needed. The instructions are pretty easy but in the manual it didnt have the code for my tv to be able to connect. But somehow my partner found out the code and the remote connected to our tv and works perfectly.
