Should have gotten a sampler because he loved the first order being chicken and salmon, both the rustic stews he loved. Second order being beef and the herring Makrel mix. Although he’s love three of the four. I now have a case of makrel, bringing that to the local vets office I’m thinking, will order the others in future. Fir a very picky dog, this topping has been a saving grace, thank you

We rotate all the stews now for our rescue pibble’s diet, but he loves the seafood the most! He is unpredictable with his appetite (to the point of vet’s visits for acidic stomach, refusing to eat), but Open Farm has really helped us get him excited to eat his meals. It costs a little more upfront for us, but the savings are greater cos he actually eats and we don’t have to toss anything out. Also super convenient to stock for travel and at our mom’s when he sleeps over.

This stew was a huge hit with my pack of 6. Really, they love all things from Open Farm! I used it as an addition/topper with their dinners and they gobble it right up. It's great to know they are enjoying something that is also incredibly healthy for them. THANK YOU, Open Farm! :)

Both my dogs devour this on top of their kibble. My one dog does better without poultry, so this is the perfect topper. I am a little disappointed though that you changed the formula and now use sodium selenite instead of selenium yeast in this Rustic Stew recipe.
Dogs love it but man it is gross smelling and looking... Looks like brown mush. But dogs gobbled it up. I suggest slowly give as off just a tablespoon my dogs poop was mushy... It appears to be a very rich food so slow transition if key.
My dogs really love this formula and I love that I can feed them wholesome, nutritious meals without having to cook for them, myself. Store shelf foods have become so full of additives and fillers that are so damaging to organs, it’s frightening. I can’t imagine ever giving them anything of a lesser quality. I’ve lost too many pets to terrible illness caused by poor quality food. In the long run, the veterinary bills are more costly and the pain and suffering can be avoided.
Although I'm sure it's an excellent product, this was just too smelly on a daily basis. It permeated our house, our dog's urine, and his breath was awful. He seemed to love it though. We switched to the turkey stew instead and he equally loves this. I may feed him the fish stew on occasion rather than as his daily topper.
Both my senior dogs devour this on top of their Open Farm kibble. I rotate between the Salmon and Herring/Mackerel because we are trying them on a Fish only diet for now. Open Farm’s philosophy on humane sourcing practices was an important factor for me in choosing this brand. I love that both the packaging for the Rustic Stews and the kibble are both recyclable. Kriser’s great customer service, shipping and Rewards Program is an added bonus.
I purchased the salmon dry kibble grain free, salmon stew wet, beef stew wet and white fish wet. My dogs absolutely loved almost all of there food. They didn’t like the white fish wet food. I bought a case of it after two boxes I had to give it away to a neighbor who couldn’t afford to buy dog food. Which her puppy loves it. It went to someone in need and her new puppy loved the food. It was a win win. I just placed a order for 2 bags of dry, 2 cases of beef and 2 cases of salmon, Open Farms makes a really good product. FYI one of my dogs is allergic to all poultry and eggs. They don’t add any egg to there food which was great. A lot of the other companies add egg or some type of poultry to there food . I know there food is wholesome and fresh . We have been feeding our petite golden doodle Open Farm for about a year. He has never been a wolf his meal down kind of dog; he’a more of a grazer, but he likes Open Farm more than anything else we have tried. We use a variety of the freeze dried toppers on his food generally. Recently, I was placing an order and decided to try the new wet stews to use as a topper. I bought the herring and mackerel since he loves at seafood. He had a moments hesitation trying it, but since - he is finally the dog who eats all his food in one sitting (one caveat - at the end of the meal he sometimes just sucks the stew off pieces of kibble and spits them out onto the floor). To say he is happy with it is an understatement.
